If it was a RWBY world I was actually leaning towards the idea, of it being a Salem wins AU where she rules over humanity as a saintly goddess figure against hordes of now godly overpowered grim, punishment directly from the gods for challenging them. With the remnants of humanity surviving in massive cities thanks to the ancient relics and magic acting as a barrier that Salem has collected over the years.

With Salem creating the harem system because she wanted to marry the four maidens, reincarnations of her daughters formed from Ozpin's magic, that rule alongside her. After each of their deaths, they are reborn and Salem uses her position as the headmistress of an elite hunting school to find them and remarry them. With I'm thinking Ruby being the latest reincarnate.

Or maybe have all four of the RWBY girl's be the latest reincarnates and the search for the previous reincarnates and who or why someone would kill them can act as a nice plot hook for the beginning. Since in this AU these four maidens are worshiped basically as living saints and one of the biggest reasons the grim haven't overwhelmed them yet.

But then again I really like the idea of Ruby being this young girl basically jumping right into a harem of much older, stronger, and more beautiful woman, all of them filled with expectations and memories of her previous incarnate they can't help but insert onto her. With Ruby's big personal arc in learning how to be herself and not get crushed under these new expectations,

Well sticking with the more original idea with the assassin school. It was originally a private bodyguard service for the royals of Europe able to not only safely protect them but also act as a confident, a lover, a maid, and a servant all in one. It was the most elite training mixed with the utmost loyalty. With boys and girls swearing themselves to this cause in return for lifting their entire family into royalty.

You want it in real world with anime rule of cool superhuman ability? And want to mix the vampire idea you had before or no? They sound similar

Not as a king of course, and any child sired with a royal would be forever be unacknowledged per the rules of the agreement, and the maid or butler themselves would be forbidden from inheriting land earning themselves a quiet disinheritance from their former family, but that former family would become landed gentry.

I was liking the idea of these virtual headsets, not just for the mind control smut aspect, but to have these complicated personality tests and little virtual games that are used by the school to further hone in their training and make adjustments if they notice to much deviance. With these scenes playing out half way between a dream and a video game.
