Oh, Cabin by the lakes a game? That's kind of cool, don't know how you keep finding all these interesting games. Although most of them are under-baked unfortunately. But for Mark today I was pretty busy doing chores, stuff like vacuuming the living room, grocery shopping, finding the closest Jiffy lube and figuring out a good time to get my car checked. Stuff like that.

I'm currently waiting for my I9 to get in the mail from IF so I can file my taxes. IF being the Nonprofit I worked for in California. Lol. Sorry if that all seems pretty boring, I try to do a lot of that stuff on Sunday's.

I had Incubus thoughts mixed with Silent Hill if you want to hear them

Demon House wants to breed demons to build a family. Tis a thing of fertility and conquest. Young boy feeling he isn't good enough for his family is offered a deal. Become the avatar for the house to grow into a village and a city and devour and remake the souls of his family and later others and in return be loved and powerful and ensure the wishes of his family and anybody he loves are given.

Starts slow and escalates as the Cabin grows in power and starts warping more of reality. Revealing the breeding corruption it seeks. Starts out with simple I'll make you more liked and expands as the Demon moulds the boy into a proper anti christ figure.

You going for the classic haunted cabin in the woods vibe? Except sexy? Stuff like whispers in the middle of the night sounding like suggestive moans. Shadows of busty woman out of the corner of your eyes. Bed that just seems to suck you in. Nightmares of being fucked and conquered. Wait that reminds me of an idea I had a long time ago.

I never do those kinds of CYOA's except to read. And over time the psychological field of delruim spreads past the house as it grows into a village and later a city. But this is a minor idea. We can talk Mark or we can talk Dark Heart setting idea which would be a proper tale.

Ya ever see Arrow? With Oliver Queen being found alive after years of being presumed dead?

Yep, I watched the first couple seasons. With him hunting down the group behind Malcolm's conspiracy to destroy the city slums, since his wife died there. With the occasional flash back to island and family drama in-between some pretty top tier, at least for television and CW standards, action scenes.

A soldier survives a war of gun and blade. He returns home famished and hurt but alive. He's celebrated as a hero for his support of a defense led by a princess. Trouble is, how did he survive? Why does he dream of a dagger with a wolf's head hilt with blade coming out of the jaws and stabbing himself in the chest.

Where was he for so long while he was lost? Why is he having memories at night of a more aggressive and daring version of himself acting out?

Reminds me of Punisher Max where Frank was literally the only one to survive this one battle back in Vietnam that killed thousands of people on both sides. With it being a national embarrassment and a black op gone wrong, so it was quickly covered up so Frank didn't become a hero, but that horrible feeling of not knowing how he survived, of remembering this horrible voice whispering of some kind of deal.

There's a reason Punisher Max is considered his best comic rub, It's so good. But I'm guessing demonic deal that promises he'll never know peace is not what your going for?

That's the trouble. He's become a Beast. The occult superpower of the setting, and is starting to figure out that piece by piece.

Who's the beast?

Beasts were once relied on. A relic of ancient times. Now, people regulate them more under the new church authority but our protag is a unchained Beast outside this system. Vampire who turns into massive werewolf with aura of terror and madness to drive armies to frenzy or rout.
