Well I don't see it as a change rather, a reveal of who he really is. Basically from the very beginning I want there to be hints that there's a lot more going underneath the surface than just a desire to be a big badass hero like his dad. The whole power reveals who we really are, you know?

Mark doesn't just wake up one day and say's I'm going to go kill a bunch of villains, it's that he's consistently prioritized fighting the villains over talking, and has been known to play fast and loose with the rules around police brutality if it means getting information that can save lives. Stuff that on the surface isn't too bad, but acts as a pattern people can look back and see the foreshadowing being built.

He doesn't react to the carnage and brutality of the invason's battles like others expect. All those hints of his combative strife ridden nature burn super hot now as his core is shown.

Exactly some persons brain explodes or gets laser in half everyone else screams, Mark just making a stupid quip and jumps right back in the fight. Which again on surface seems like a normal hero, but especially juxtaposed with everyone else's reaction acts as a nice bit of Foreshadowing.

So when does he go into a true viltrumite rage. When does the fury come out. When Eve gets hurt or Blackfire or another of his sisters injured? Both?

The Flaxion invasion goes sideways, a lot of civilians and like you mentioned Eve or Blackfire gets hurt and boom we have angry Mark with super powers he doesn't understand ready to go all out. Which ends with him bloody and in the hospital afterward and is what causes Nolan to go full destroyer of worlds like in the show.

How does it change in what Mark does and feels during the battle compared to how he was doing with his training from Batman?

Well, he still had a problem holding back even with Batman but back then he didn't have the strength or the chi to ever take it too far and in fact on numerous occasions was forced to the sidelines by the Bat family because he would just be a liability in certain fights, so the biggest change is that one he doesn't have to hold back, and two he refuses to ever been seen as a liability ever again.

So now with his supet strength awoken to tie into his combat instincts the potential consequences and their destruction when he fights are finally realized.

It certainly helps, but I've mentioned it before the two already have a pretty playful rivalry beforehand that's where the initial attraction started.
