  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

  • Merry Christmas, Bii. I have a question for you, if you don't mind.

I have a friend who posted a Quest in the NSFW section of the forum, one which crosses Gundam SEED with cyberpunk, and I'm helping him write it. So, we're currently wondering which sub-forum of QQ would be the right fit for a vote on the rest of the Combat Party for this particular Quest. Would it be NSFW Questing or NSFW Q&R Index?

Okay, my apologies. I should've waited for Megaolix to reply to me before I said anything to you about the question.
Mew's Chinese names are 夢夢 and 梦幻, but "meng" is also "moe", so 小梦 can be小萌, which is "komoe",

I forgot where I was going with this asI typed it

If you had checked the FAQ, you'd see you need to make a post on a thread for your account to AUTOMATICALLY be approved.

Mods don't have the ability to verify accounts, that would need to be done via the e-mail sent during the account creation. Or the admins would need to do that.
Unless you mean getting your first post n the site approved, so you can post elsewhere?

They say Jin Yong's first love was a girl who was NTR'd from him by her cousin, which is why in all his wuxia stories, whenever there's an older male cousin who is the crush of the female main character, he would always be an asshole who takes her love for granted and tramples on her feelings.
There is a martial arts idiom that goes, "The hands are two doors, rely on feet to hit"; but it doesn't mean what you think it means. Instead, it means that the hands are like doors that must stay closed, or else you have no defense (especially for head). More importantly, the feet doesn't mean "kick", but "footwork".

I see some casuals writing in their story about how "every martial arts is a different dialect of the same language" or "martial arts are just flowery bullshit" or whatever Americanisms that tend to pop up in shitty writing, but there's actually a lot of wisdom in martial arts that seems to be ignored by the ignorant. Sad.
Why is it that some people in HK or TW like to add a "Sir" at the end of their names? It's kind of strange, you know, when someone calls themselves, like, "Biigoh Sir", instead of just "Sir" or "Sir Biigoh", idk.

I think this might be right, just like how in HK people call law enforcers/policemen "Ah Sir", like how Bii might be called "Abii"...

I'm impatient to an immature degree so I'm also going to ask here after asking 2 other mods:
I'm new to the whole forum/thread/quest thing, and I'm completely lost. I can't for the life of me figure out what the hell is happening. Can you give me a generalized run down of how tf this all works because I feel like I'm missing something, especially with the quests?
I think it was around the time Saekano released that the idea that "tsundere" attribute characters being the final winners in a romance became less like reality and more like a Hollywood lie, well, not Hollywood, but you know what I mean, anime, like a media lie, so these days you don't see many tsundere childhood friend main character female characters anymore

It feels like most Chinese stories from a female protagonist POV tends to portraying modern society as feudal society and feudal society as slave society
It seems like in martial arts stories, the top two or three levels are usually conceptual power rather than inner strength, but they call it "intent" and that's kind of weak compared to conceptual magic, but at the same time, "intent" is also used in shitty ass xianxia shit, but they're always described the same in narrative, but the settings are so different, which tells us a lot about the xianxia genre.
So in martial arts novels, everyone uses something called 金疮药 ("Gold Sore Medicine") to stop bleeding, and it's like this white powder recipe from Ming era monk who made it from ground animal bones, but there's a version on Baidu that uses:

and then there's a modern upgraded version of this that the army here prescribes to all the privates like the us army tosses aspirin like candy called 云南白药 ("Yunnan White Medicine"), but this one is for bruises, come in pill form or a spray, and there's even a version for pets...

... but people here use both of them for broken bones for some reason???

It also depends on which Powers That Bii(goh) it is. Like the one in Buffy is significantly different from the one in Marvel, as an example

Multiverse chatroom... but everyone inside can't speak; they're all like, Pikachu, Tom and Jerry, Nishimiya Shoko, Kirara, Akira Oono, Link, Kamado Nezuko, Appa, Pochita, etc...

... and then one character who can speak who has to herd them like a herd of cats.

    Maybe Bocchi.
I feel like if you become someone like Matou Byakuya, you can say something like, "Aoi-san, you wouldn't want anything to happen to Rin-chan and Sakura-chan, would you?"
