Let's get started with Moat Calin stuff, and I'll try to get caught up and read the updates when the Puppy's calmed down in a little while.

Oh I saw the movie, Mickey 17, absolutely terrible. Walked out halfway through. lol. It was about the idea of this technology that allows you to clone someone over and over again, carrying over the memories, with these so called disposables being used to do the most dangerous and life threatening tasks on a spaceship as it heads towards a new planet to colonize.

Not a bad concept, but the execution just fucking horrendous. The people didn't talk like people, more like carituares that our need for a specific seen it literally felt AI generated at points. It was over explained with some explanations being repeated multiple times throughout the story. The main romance had zero chemistry with the girl taking twenty or thirty minutes to get introduced.

Then when the girl did appear their wasn't even a conversation, just a look and then a hard cut towards sex, With the two suddenly a couple now. With the two actors involved having zero chemistry. Speaking of the actor's, Robert Patterson was wasted in this role. He tried hard, but he had to talk with this weird accent and deliberately act retarded which got old really quick.

The rest weren't very good, with Mark Ruffalo in particular giving one of the worst performances from him I've ever seen. He played the main villain, this CEO of the evil company that ran the ship and helped create the disposables. He also had a speech impediment, was being controlled by his domineering wife who had an equally shrill voice, and was very stupid. Draining any sort of tension out of a ton of scenes.

This sounds interesting but you said terrible and for Moat Calin sex rituals. Between the andals and first men and how they tie into actual cultural beliefs with serious foundations for them. I have ideas for the First Men to explore of beastly forceful sexuality but the Andals not so much. The First men get very breed happy and focused on fertility as a sign of pride and connection

Ruffalo's hulk is a waste of space in the MCU.

At least in MCU Ruffalo can disappear in the background and have a giant CGI monster take his place when needed, but here he was the main villain. The one you were supposed to be scared off when he talked about killing of the MC. The one who supposedly has a cult of fanboys that he uses to control the ship, and yet here he slurred his words so much I couldn't understand him half the time.

And yes Patterson was the newest Batman. He also did twilight funny enough. But he's the attractive lead in a drama or dark noir, not the retarded nobody your supposed to feel bad for. It's like everytime he got bullied in the movie for being disposable and not being a real person, I laughed because everytime he lost his shirt you can see Patterson's six pack and a jawline that can cut glass.

Sorry i'm ranting about this. It was just so bad. lol. At least with Megapolis it was so bad it was funny. This was just sad.

You think I'm bullshitting? This was in the first ten minutes with zero explanations for anything anyone is talking about.

I did read the andal thoughts, and I really like the idea of the pursuit of perfection or beauty. It ties in with knightly traditions and the idea of becoming something bigger than yourself. Of becoming a legend. How everyone's doesn't just want to be pretty, they want to be the prettiest you can possibly be. They want to push their magic and potions as far and as hard as they can or die trying.
