Ain't that the truth. Half the inspiration for me writing Miss Dallon, the original one, is that I got so tired of low effort Amy/Vicky smut from Worm fan's and was also tired of Carol constantly being written more like an optical to be worked around or eliminated than an actual character. I wanted to try and inspire better writing for porn I enjoy. lol.

Insexual Awakening I bet shares a issue I found in Taffy Tales. The setting and action in it is godamn boring

I mean it's your average summer vacation with the family hanging out around the house and around the beach. Kind of hard to do much more than that when it's a mundane real life setting and the MC Nate is like twelve. lol.

Latter is cringe and former is another reason porn becomes dross. No extra energy to animate something cooler than suburban stagnation

But how are characters

Characters are pretty basic, but they have some hidden depths to them at certain points. Like Kacey for example, she's this random lady you can find in the park at night who's sitting behind a glory hole you can enjoy. Who you come to find out is a socially maladjusted shut in, who specifically comes to this park to be with younger boys.

Interesting but yikes

So this freaky lady who's just in it so the player's have someone to fuck since the main girls take a little bit longer to reach right? Well she has this scene where you have regular sex with her for the first time, where she admits it's her birthday and nobody but Nate showed up to tell her happy B-day. That she's very lonely and if Nate leaves her after today at least they had one nice night together.

I don't know it's strange amount of self awareness and pretty sad fucked up undertones, I wasn't really expecting at all. And you get moment's from the story like this all the time. You have Janet, the aunt, openly talking shit about her ex husband leaving her because she was too old and independent, and how she should stick with younger men like Nate since they'll always look at her special.

You have Janet and the mother's reminiscing on how their relationship kind of fell apart since after Nate's dad left, they never specify why, Janet tried to help the mom by getting her exercising and losing some weight so she can go back to dating, which the mom interpreted it as her judging her and rubbing in her face how much healthier and prettier she is.

Again some weirdly self aware and kind of sad moments in-between some at times pretty cheesy characters and sex scenes. lol.

The birthday bit and the aunt is literary introspection for a fucked up topic about romanticized boy youth as a panacea for life.

While my beloved Taffy Tales goes inner Hyde comes out at start of story and it is a glorious depraved ego driven alt personality

To be honest I've never been a huge fan of inner Hyde stories. All too often it's used as an excuse for why the normally meek passive and almost painfully boring MC, suddenly starts raping girls or being this powerful playboy. The two sides aren't integrated or reflections of one and other, and most importantly there's not an organic blending or struggle between the two sides.

I like the power and I like the self admitted truth of a protag who doesn't hide lust or its attendant desire for domination behind the girls and femboys just really like how nice I am and I say their special.

There's a raw realness to the absurd sadistic sexual drive of a good Hyde porn protag

Sorry I got distracted by a dog. Tell me more about Taffy Tales then and why it's Hyde Protage works.

He has a personality. A very vivid one. Move references, sarcasm, a cunning way of manipulating his words to bring the main personality to his way of thinking. He is also expressive of all the powerful erotic urges you never see in most harem works.

He's spicy, he wants his broodsows and fuckboi slaves. He'll use rape, blackmail, pushes consent. He goes for what he wants and pull people into his way of feeling and thinking. Over time he develops more softer feelings but the core is alwyas that rawness of tyranical want.

Kind of sounds like an sshole, but you know what an asshole with a personality is always a lot more fun than a wet blanket.

He had a lot of personality with his jokes and lying and joy in what he did
