It's nice to see her acting more diplomatic and I like how the freefolk she was meeting with clearly wanted a deal as much as Ygritte did but was playing hard to get to earn some more concessions. It's a hard balance to write, but you wrote it well.

I did some parts but the bulk was Jackal. What do you think of our take on Wildlings vs canon, more depth?

Definitely more depth in some ways, yours feels a lot more humans than the murder rapes machine George wrote, but something he did a little bit better is really emphasis how bitter wilding rivalries could become. Not just with Kneelers and the wall, but how you had certain tribes that were waging wars of literal genocide against each other. Helped emphasis how difficult a king beyond the wall was.

I'll keep the tribal wars in mind for Jackal. I like with the Dothraki did not like how Martin did the fur covered savages bit. Why don't the Wildlings have tech adapted to their living conditions? Where's the social structure even if it isn't a formal government. This man be using outdated sterotypes too much

And if you research the Mongols you understand how lame the Dothraki are in comparison. One blog has this really funny bit where it mentions how the Dohtraki killing sheep and having no herds besides horses is nuts for managing a food supply

How killing horses undermines how expensive and important they are to travel and warfare and how a nomadic society like that doesn't like to kill horses. Both for cultural and economic reasons

I sleep too, but something else the Mongols were king at is horse archers which would've been so much cooler to watch on TV and in the books. Just hordes of horses incricling armies pelting them with arrows and the minute the army organizes and starts to fight back, the horses flee off into the wastes only to appear again in a day or two to continually harass them.

How was party? Been doing some cleaning and organizing for my family that's visiting tomorrow. Took a trip to good will earlier to get rid of clutter and then later hanging paintings. That kind of stuff.

Fucking coffee. I mentioned how I've been in and out of the store a lot? Forgot the coffee. I don't drink it, but my family does and it'll be really awkward when they bring up the Coffee machine in the corner of the kitchen gathering dust and I don't have anything. It'll probably be the first time I've used the thing since I moved to Arizona. lol.

And we can chat Moat Calin or Danny Fenton, or shit really anything. My brain is just so scatterbrained right now running around making sure everything is good. I keep my house clean, but there's a big difference between clean enough for every day use and clean enough for visitors, you know what I mean?

It is almost done though. Aunt and Uncle will be in tomorrow afternoon. It'll be a lot of fun. I already told you about the lake cruise we're doing, but were also visiting the aquarium and a butterfly sanctuary. They're staying in a hotel nearby until tuesday so we're making it a whole big trip. It'll be a lot of fun.
