But I like the 40k idea specifically because it forces Charlie out of her comfort zone and to be more proactive. Since the big issues is that even outside of her own setting she's so powerful not a lot can physically threaten her, especially if a lot of her friends are following along, and she can be pretty passive as well.

She specifically tries diplomacy first and has no desire to rule outside of her own little hotel. So the situation outside has to be specifically fucked up enough for her to actively want to conquer, fight back, and even consider the idea of cooperating with and eventually leading a full blown cult dedicated to her. Plus the nature of 40k would also cause some pretty fun character growth and introspection for her.

More pics for the smut throne. and I say 40k inspired. For creativity I suggest not doing 40k directly. Doing a based on 40k and taking from other things and building up from there but keep the setting of the story small at first. Focus in on the tiny so you can expand over time and not be overwhelmed.

I'm personally fighting the urge to say how much I fucking love Chaos Sorcerers and psychic magic rituals and all that occult trappings for things like Thousand Sons and Runepriests. Its great they are in the scifi world

Love the color in this one. Just in general good art and not just smut.

The flames around the edges and the variation in the skin tone and sweat. Chef's kiss. But yeah, I think one of the biggest things that makes 40k so great is that combination of classical fantasy elements into a Sci Fi world and not having either side conflict or compete. Too many stories, looking at Star Wars in particular, have this weird obsession with being embarrassed with one side and ignoring it.

As if having certain technologies or explaining how they work somehow lessens the impact of their magic, and vice versa.

Like the bared boob for her and how wet it is. So what would you love most in 40k and what if you could take it out and put in other stuff in the 40k ideas would you do?

The problem with 40k is that first and foremost a game designed to sell Miniatures. So for example asking for an ending is never going to happen because then there's no more toys to sell. Can't kill off certain characters or factions for the same reason. It's also over the top grime dark is its theme so if you start lighting it up you stand to lose a core element of its design.

But for specific ones. I don't like the obsession with the Horus heresy. The emperor never needed a defined personality and worked a lot better when we had zero clue if he was even a real guy. The mystique he used to have is getting chipped away every single time we get a new book detailing him being a dumb ass or all his kids having serious daddy issues.

Speaking of Daddy Issues. The Primarch's in general could've been handled better. They could've been handled a lot worse to be honest, but honestly Horus's whole freak out should've been a lot more dramatic and sad but was instead pretty mid once we actually learned everyone's motivation. Plus like you said Chaos needs a nerf and a few losses. They've been winning to much and it's making their fan insufferable.

But what I love the most about Warhammer, and the big reason I dislike the huge focus on the Primarch's, is the scale. Do you know how rare it is for a Sci Fi setting to have armies in the millions? The clone wars in Star Wars were fought with only a couple million. Do you know how refreshing it is that whole planets getting lost are seen as a roadblock in a campaign and not the end of the world?

Planets fall. Fleets get destroyed. Billions of people die, and it's only Tuesday for everyone involved. It's a Sci Fi setting that makes its wars feel real. They are drawn out, slogging messes that takes something from everyone. There are no plucky rebels or a super genius that automatically wins the war with zero casualties in one dramatic swoop. Just a grinding fight everywhere.

I like the primarchs as epic hero and tragedy characters but see your point. So Charlie on cyberpunk gang world where the local imperial system has failed and the more evil cults are converging, she is called in as a savior spirit from a desperate populace

It's why I hate the Primarchs, because I think having such powerful figures roaming around with this ability to single handedly fix or fuck up everything around him, directly takes away from the feeling of war. Of being a very small cog in an impossibly sized machine. Of every victory feeling hard fought and desperately won. Of wars having a tangible weight to them.

But back to Charlie. I'm debating between the bottom of a dilapidated hive or the outskirts of the city, on the edge of being attacked. With the attackers specifically being the Tyranids, just to give Charlie a little bit of breathing room. Because these are bugs thats only purpose is to eat and grow more. They have zero souls or emotions and Charlie won't feel any guilt or hesitation in killing them

Since if the enemies are chaos, and they are one of the smarter cults, I think Charlie with zero knowledge about the setting and the rules it plays by would be easy pray to manipulate into a trap and I want to give her at least a little bit of time to settle in and grow in power and wisdom before that happens.
