Questionable Questing

With the MC for the first chunk, being this feel good journalist named Charlie ironically. lol. Stereotypical hero journalist, here to expose the evils of the world and is basically Steve Rodgers if he never got to super soldier serum. He's here not only as an audience surrogate with through him slowly falling in love and marrying modern Charlie we see who she became and uncover her backstory.

With the Journalist also kind of representing the more innocent original version of Charlie, and how she would feel about her new self and the changes she's experienced. With this Charlie basically running one of the largest businesses on the planet, that's also slowly becoming a symbol and the main puppet master of the British Empire.

Which to make a long story short. Charlie tried at first her usual work after she spawns in London during the Victorian era. Which as you already know was pretty horrible. lol. So hotels for everyone and anyone, except with a bigger focus on charity rather than therapy. Using her own powers to keep any local gang or businesses from muscling in. Building up her legend and reputation in the process.

And her lust demon nature growing stronger over time?

But over time, in-between dealing with the mountains of corruption that make any real charity work practically impossible without wealthy backers, all of whom do not have any respect for her because of her vary different views on stuff like equality. As well as getting more comfortable with the necessity of killing, something she is forced to at times.

She starts accruing more personal power. Starts taking advantage of her future knowledge to invent a few things and invest in a few areas. While she's never been to earth she did love studying it's history. Slowly gaining more power and those kids she first accepted in, grow up and worship her, she puts to work. Managing it. The combination of fanatically loyalty and determined workers push it to new heights.

And with this newly found wealth and power, she goes to politics. Pushing for more aid and infrastructure projects. Lots of hospitals, schools, and railways. Unknowingly centralizing the Empire even faster than our timeline, and her charity work also helped settle a lot of bloody disputes and issues. She also promotes more world centric politicians into power. All good actions unknowingly serve the empire.

Are you going for urban fantasy alt history with this? It is what I suggest. Magicans and other things for charlie to deal with, like a gang of werewolves

Until pretty soon, her face and name is as popular as queen Victoria. With that point being where the story starts. But onto the part you're probably interested in. lol. Charlie loves babies. She absolutely loves them more than anything. In her mind any second she's not pregnant is time wasted. By the time the story starts. I'm planning on her having potentially up to 60 or 70 kids.

But yeah's, that my big debate I'm having. How magical should I make it? And what other franchises am I willing to add? Marvel? Vampire Masquerade? Still debating. But back to the kids, while she loves having them, she loves spoiling them more. And despite how much she loves them, her constant attention along with how all her kids are immortal like she is, has basically left them as codependent as she is.

That's the idea. lol. She has strict rules about not marrying anyone below a certain age, as well as everyone has to date her for at least a year or two to see if this is what they really want. But almost all her children are either married to her or are occasional fuck buddies. With only a couple dozen that stays friends and maybe one or two that hates her guts.

With the one that does hate her being in this unfortunate circumstance, where he's smart enough to know that his relationship with his mom is unhealthy and a little controlling. But he's insecure enough that he doesn't have the will to say fuck I'm happy with her. Or cut her off completely and find out who he is without her power.

So instead he seethes and plays mind games with her. Basically angling himself to take over the company, so he can keep the money and power as well as eventually fulfill his lifetime fantasy of his mom being his personal slave and secretary. All the while Charlie watches all this, and plays along with equal parts sadness and humor, effortlessly taking down any serious moves on his part.

That is quite fucked up but interesting.

What supernatural elements in general would you like to add to this alt history

Stuff like Vampires and Werewolves obviously. Couple demons and cults, since they will all be very interested in Charlie. Not trying to kill her, but corrupt her into the Antichrist role she was destined to play. Acting as some interesting mind games as on the surface they are perfectly loyal to Charlie, but they are also constantly pushing her to expand her empire and make some morally questionable choices.
