The bed talk between Ygritte and Hurrik was actually super cute, and I like how despite Ygritte trying to find excuses either because she's too weird looking and untrained in courtly politics or because Hurrik should be angling for a Northan Wife to help differentiation himself from his Parents, Hurrik still wanted her there simply because she's his only family available that night.

Had ice cream datee with girl where I made her laugh but felt I was hiding my nerdy side and really leaning on my comedic sarcatic side while masking my nerdy autism and it fried me for work after.

How did you like the other parts?

I mean obviously it goes without saying don't be someone you're not, nobody can live a lie forever, but you also don't need to tell your life story for a first date. So if being more funny is working, then it's working. Just make sure to plan on days your not too busy so you don't get so wiped out.

I mean the other two parts where more setting up some background stuff and establishing some of the wider on-goings, like the study of magic lines and how that translates how the players can choices which God, or no God, it can be assigned to for power. Which I'm assuming was created partially to help play around more with the unique religious issues plaguing Hurrik's realm.

See it wasn't that. I was trying very hard to be normie. Like I'm a nerdy guy, nerdy shit is what I enjoy and I was actively mapping the conversation in such a way to be likable and I was hyper aware of my personality and how it was being molded. Did not feel good.

But I do like how even if he doesn't take their opinion at all Hurrik, still goes ahead to listen to them and makes sure they understand that. A pretty subtle thing all things considered, but it's one of the reasons so many people, many important ones, like and follow him.

Oh, well that doesn't sound good. But on the other hand, most girls aren't going to be interested if you start reciting the lore of Star Wars or 40k on a first date. lol. Your best bet is to either find a girl equally as nerdy, which comes with its own complications, or practice with a close friend or relative on how to balance being normie enough while allowing yourself to enjoy nerd stuff from time to time.

I get that, but something I've noticed. If you're deliberately trying to hide something, it makes you feel awkward and stilted in areas, and whoever date you're with is going to pick up on that. So either learn how to cover it up better, or just be honest from the beginning.

But yeah, the problem with Ozai/Azula is that unlike with Zuko where you only need a slight change to their canon personalities to not only make the paring work, but have a wide variety from mutual co-dependency to self destructive master/slave back to super wholesome found family and anything in between. With Ozai, you need to dramatically change his personality to make it anything more than rape.

And do you mean the protag is the controller? Or that he/she is being controlled but clearly enjoys it and is pushing the controller to go further?
