And I am definitely working on the Charlie thing, just getting sick and then having last week and then a chunk of this week, since I had to get caught up on a lot of stuff I had planned to get done before. set me back a little. If that hadn't happened I probably would've had a first chapter to show you. But I have all the weekend to myself and the dogs so I'll try to get caught up then.

All in the backdrop of the rising tensions over Britain's colonization over Nigeria with Charlie's company leading the charge.

The annoyed expressionis interesting with Charlie. So what really starts getting her all wrapped up in this demonic mother of a thousand young godess of infernal fertlity change?

With her kindness and supernatural power, she's forced to use to protect her people, building up her own little cult of personality with the locals which is what creates a lot of the tensions and the opening the demon cultist take advantage off for their own ends. With a lot of theme being that Charlie's power, how ever good her intentions, are creating a lot of problems and getting used by bad people/systems.

And yes there will be a few flashbacks, but a lot of it will be from the Reporter's point of view with him distinctly remembering a few times he scene Charlie as a kid and the massive impression she left on him. Since that also ties in that he's the black sheep of a very powerful royal scion, a fact he spends most of this arc hiding due to his own personal hang ups.

I want big tits or ass Charlie or pregnant charlie or vaggie pics. So Charlie becomes the emperess of systems to stop bad systems. The irony of it. When did he see her as a kid and is he going to be submissive or dominant with her? What's his character development

But with the fertility goddess thing, I mentioned about how this world has massive Keylines that people use to power their rituals/spells and that over time certain areas get saturated with magic causing weird effects to start popping up. Well as a part of her back story of initially being the one to kill Jack the Ripper, who here was demonically possessed,

She ended up in the process ripping through the magical underground of London, only a few factions still surviving into the Modern era independent from here either through a loose affiliation with the Catholics since they have holy artifacts/political power that can oppose Charlie or because they have a truce with her. With in the process of subsuming and learning how these Ley Lines work.

Charlie ends up repurposing several of them for her various hotels and sanctuaries for orphans she establishes with all of them providing healing, protection, and safety all by tying in the key lines directly into the concept of motherhood. With Charlie starting to get influenced by this massive influx of power into her being.

And the lewd, is that from her blood as Lucifer and Lilith's daugher, two gods of sin?

Partially that, also partially from the fact she's become a symbol of change and growth in this new world so when growth and motherhood mix you get tons of breeding. Plus Charlie just becomes naturally lewd over time as she gets terrified of losing her family, and thus goes to greater and greater lengths to keep them tied down and safe with her.

I'd have the lewd tie back into Lucifer and Lilith as icons of temptation and have Charlie take it from them as her daughter and expand on that Apple metaphor. While using all you have mentioned

But back to the reporter, his character arc is that he's a very suppressed guy. Not just emotionally or sexually, but also intellectually. He's a guy born out of his era basically, with the average liberal beliefs you would find today clashing against a much more brutal time. A part of ties in with him being a reflection of past Charlie,

But also a big part of it is because he's the opening narration and I want to ease the readers into this world. Since I will be discussing colonization, Slavery, and some pretty dark stuff, and having a more average viewer from the time I think would be too much especially in the very beginning.

And in Charlie, he's finally found someone he can open up to and trust. But can he really trust her? And that's the big dilemma for him. Since someone as powerful and influential as her is going to have skeletons and darker sides. And he's secretly terrified of the idea that he won't be able to resist her charms and power, and become just another slave or cultist she seems to collect.
