Questionable Questing

Well firstly this is not a smut chapter. This is prolog that acts as a hook. With Charlie getting ripped away from her home by a bunch of child murdering rich assholes who want to use her as a weapon, causing her to have a very reasonable crash out against them. But secondly it's a part of building mystery. Who are these people? Why Charlie? What happened to her afterwards?

These questions carry over to the Journalist internal monologues as he spends the first arc trying to despite and discover the puzzle that is Charlie slowly falling in love in the process. It's the set up, then pay off. Introduced with a Mystery that slowly gets revealed.

With the smut not only acting as good character building, since its a neat way to show just how much Charlie's grown and changed that she freely talks about being married multiple times and how much she enjoyed being on top and in control, but it's also introduces more mysteries in how she ended up here to begin with.

But talk about Hurrik. You keep the name and the settings? With DnD Mixed with ASOIAF or are you going full balls to the wall original with it?

A dragon prince who was a great heroic ruler to defend his rule slowly falls into butchery and terror. His strongest most loyal knight and friend, a Robert inspired character, the guy this dragon prince calls to do his dirty work. That storm invested knight is forced to be the moral limit on his buddy.

Unable to convince the prince of how he's become a despot, the Robert character kills the prince. Having to lead the prince's kingdom in the aftermath. A great war ensures between many competing factions in this divided land where the dragon prince was only one ruler among many. The storm knight tries to honor his friend's dream of peace and make them all submit without being a tyrant as his friend became.

He marries his friend's lover the winter witch, Lyanna, and raises his son, Hurik character.

It's a start. Who's your Ned Stark character? Robert's best bud, trusted right hand man, and also foreign to the South, thus not only acting as a honorable character Robert aspires to be but also a good view points character for the audience since his inexperience is a great excuse for characters to explain outloud common knowledge.

Our protag for the Quest will be Hurik staring at a noble weding which is where the last update for the Quest left off at a manderly wedding

How old is Hurrik here? Is it the same one who's married and knighted? Or are you doing a young one to introduce readers to the new world/characters?

But while I kind of agree that Hurrik is a little strange, although I could list twenty more even stranger Norwegian, Scottish or Swedish names which is where the North was obviously inspired by, what kind of country is he basing Hurrik's ancestry on?
