It's hard to explain, but the concept really shows up a lot more when you have a mythology-inspired setting where the average powerhouse could create or destroy universes, for example some version of Greek myth but empowered, and then the writer would try to connect that boring setting with, idk, Saint Seiya or some shit,

I guess it's because the execution itself is a very complex thing, and it in itself could encompass the plot structure of an entire story, so it's hard to explain in a fun way, but also because I'm bad with words
