The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Whenever I try to approach the idea of making my writing more Rated R (writing is a hobby and I'm trying to evolve from what would barely qualify as PG-13 media), I freeze up and get stuck. I'm just afraid of writing something that's just ultimately a ploy for more viewers because "sex sells". Any advice?
PS: Sorry for the multiple messages. Site wouldn't let me post it all at once.
When you wrote it, your execution was flawless. Plus, the females in your shorts can be promiscuous, but it actually feels like an adult woman making her own choices in life (and not have a sign of being a sex addict) and not an excuse for your character to play grab ass without consequence and then the woman be thrown away.
How do you do it!? When you write lewds, it's honestly funny, engaging, and not a cheap way to make up for a lack of plot. Plus, you're so creative. On your recent chapter, I definitely didn't expect the genderbent Winn Schott. Usually, genderbending characters is usually seen as a weak attempt to make more waifus for the story.
Are you the author of Re:Lovely? I was just scrolling through my RoyalRoad follows and was shocked when I noticed it was written by GurgleGerbil! It was one of my favorite fics back during the Re:Monster era of RRL.
Just thought it was wild that I'm still reading your stories 8 years later but had never made the connection, keep up the great work~!
Hey gerbil do you ever go back and just reread some of your own work to see if it sparks some ideas to continue them? As much as I like your new ideas all the time I sometimes wonder how far you could take something if you focused on it. Gotta be honest the most interesting to me is some of the actual worlds you come up with.
