    Glad you enjoy them. Full stories are a huge ask, because you pretty much have to have an idea of where it's going, how to end it, and the time & concentration to stick with it. I don't think I have the attention span these days to do that. We're all slaves to our muses, and since I'm not shackled by paying readers, my mind has been wandering much more lately.

    No idea. The longer a story goes without updates, the harder it is to go back to it. Ideas change or are forgotten, what drove me to start writing that fic may or may not still be there. The plan for that fic were for Ben and Gwen to go to Harry Potter (as Harry and some female character that wasn't Hermione) for a bit next to learn some magic.

    Jinx is one of those characters that can be written as either a cruel villain or can be redeemed as a hero. It's one of the reasons why I like her TT version. TNC looks like there's a lot of content, even if on hiatus. I'll give it a look when I have the bandwidth.
    Big fan of the Ketka fic. Hoping to see more when your life is less crazy, though I understand the reasoning that it gets a bit hard to write a ramping protagonist, especially before they face meaningful opposition. If you want to keep things difficult for him, having the Reapers steal and implement some tech after Sovereign's attack could keep them in the fight?

    Honestly I'm perfectly happy with the technology pacing. The story narrative just needs a slight shift as it goes into diplomacy, politics, everyone reacting and adapting to the ketka having the biggest technological stick to the point their military will be near certain to win even without their human allies. .

    I feel you about the curbstomp, but that just means you need to finish it up soon, expidite it a bit perhaps and just end it in the next 10 chapters at most. throw in a few timeskips and it should be doable. Plus i NEED to see the council races perspective of what happened and the meeting with the prince and all that.

    You could always focus on character interactions with the new divergent timeline of events and setting. Let the mc chill a bit while we see OGs and OCs experience the new dynamics of the galaxy. Slice of life, social interaction, diplomatic talks, economic trade with replicator society etc.. really enjoy the story so far. Hope to see things play out further even if combat becomes a trivial write off in the story

    It's not the Muse that's the issue. It's the desire to put thought into typed words. I have a lot of shitty ideas running around my head. I have more to the stories that I've submitted on here that I've either partially written or just are stuck in brain. I'll get them out eventually.

    Dead. I have ideas for a rewrite, because I didn't some of the things I did. No idea if I'll ever do that, though. I have lots of ideas, and not the time or energy to turn them all into words. Sinereal had a good tinker story, and someone else had one where the MC ended up with Lisa (DarkWolfShiro maybe?) with a plot that had some similarities to where my brain was taking the (in my head) rewrite.

    Honestly, that's probably the last of my stories I'd update at this point. If anything, I'd redo it entirely, as I wasn't too happy with what I'd written or where I was taking it. With that Essence, the MC should have been far more powerful than he really was.
