You know what's amusing? OL's troubles with the Danner formula. Because... Even soulless earth biology can probably match or top that, at least nearly. - Use a different lipid for cell wall construction - Have similar muscle fibers as something like a chimpanzee or other high performant...
  2. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

I wonder. We usually only see them in pretty confrontational contexts, not in quiet moments of doubt, or anything. It's really an "up to the writer" deal. We also don't know all the butterflies.

Well, other Viltrumites. Also, the sun. Like, somewhere between 5000 to a few million degrees will start burning them, eventually. Either that, or it was some specific type of radiation in sufficient concentrations. Mark is probably fairly vulnerable at this point, but taking him out would...

Bog god bog god bog god
  5. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

Huh. The timeline in Fallout is way different and way more convoluted than I thought. In my defense, I've only really played Fallout 2, back when it was released.
  6. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

Earlier I wondered how badly did Twilight do for Gen 5 to go as it did. Apparently, kinda stupidly.

Blue steak is rare indeed. Is Kara that bad or is she getting flanderized? The Dark Knight was released in 2008, same year as Iron man. That's 15 years ago. A few years before the SI's... Self insertion, basically. I feel.... Not old, exactly. Like I am peering into the abyss of time. I...

Good for her! Were you actually this much of a dinosaur at the time of your insertion?
  9. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

Hm. I find I like light-hearted characters. <Suppressing a rant how constant sombreness even in doom and gloom environments is unrealistic>
  10. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

I admit, I am curious about this time abyss version of OL. Is it Paragon, at some distant future, or an entirely different instance?
  11. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

Is this a joke or is he losing the ability to comprehend complex networks of wants? Wanting a status check without causing a disruption isn't really that complex, either. Or is it just that since the pink blocks his empathy... No, that's the same thing.
  12. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

Canonically, Twilight must have effed up something fierce. Otherwise, next gen wouldn't have happened the way it seemed to. With the caveat that I've only glanced at the new stuff.
  13. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

Ah, right. OL transferred around early in the decade and probably doesn't/didn't play that many recent triple A games. It is still technically a thing, since perfect collision and deforming would be a huge waste of resources - same reason nobody AFAIK uses mathematically perfect multithreading.
  14. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

...Well. yes. Okay, Paul is cheating hard, but bending was learned from spirits or spiritual animals in the first place. No reason someone couldn't do that now.
  15. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

I wonder which would be more amusing? Yes.
  16. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

You'd think. I'm more perturbed by the amount of wrong they reveal about the person making those statements. The wrong exceeds the number of statements.
  17. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

There's a great deal wrong with this statement.
  18. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

And that's called 'tactically more dangerous. Yes. That being said, you need some GOOD strategy if you need to plan around losing every engagement where a specific person is present. He kinda did, didn't he? Well, at least there's proof, now.
  19. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

When did THAT happen? Grayven wasn't involved in the tuning fork kerfuffle. Sadly.
  20. With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

I do have to wonder. If they'd just put the body to a high-sunlight environment instead of burying it in the ground, maybe he'd recovered naturally. BvS ends with showing that Supes is not all the way dead, and it was also suggested by Zod's corpse not decaying
