The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
That's awesome, I really appreciate that! I was thinking I might try Ko-fi, since that's more aimed toward one-time donations; I think the pressure of trying to keep writing for subscribers could be too much. Thank you for saying that though, I'll have to consider it some more
Hey! Idk if you saw the comment below the 3rd ch. but just in case, there's no schedule, I post when I finish them. I'm super happy to hear you love the fic, and I've loved the comments you've made so far, they've been very encouraging!
That's definitely true! It's more of a response to his self esteem, though, and a desire to prove himself worthy of the unearned forge, and as an actual hunter. Maybe I could have conveyed that better, I'm not sure
It was really tough picking an intelligence perk :( a lot of the 100cp perks in that category came with doctorate level knowledge, and at this point of the story that kind of thing didn't really seem like something I could just gloss over. Or I could have I guess, but I didn't know how to do it...
Jaune was fairly certain that his cabinet carcass was looking lopsided. It was subtle, and he’d had to tilt his head a little to confirm it, but it was clearly leaning to the right. Jaune was disappointed, but he was still human and even the skills for woodworking provided by the celestial forge...
Hmm, I've added links to the perks now. Also note, they each have two paragraphs in their description so you may have missed it? Or maybe I've screwed up somehow.
Edit: Empire From the Ashes link went to 4chan drive the first time I added it, but I've fixed that and it should now go directly...
So I didn't link to the jumps if that's what you mean, but at the end of each perk description I've put down the series titles in brackets. I can start placing actual links instead of that
Jaune was in a lot of trouble. Jaune, his sisters, and mom had moved over into the living room, and now Jaune was sitting on one of the recliners. He sat up straight, and he was nervous. The girls had very serious expressions on their faces, whether they leaned toward concern (his mom, Goldenia)...
V2! Or a copy I made of it at least. I noticed the version I found was still being edited, so I made my own copy. As far as the perks go, I'm using them as described in the documents. They're not an expression of Jaune's semblance or anything like that. I don't know of anybody in rwby who could...
This will be posted on a couple other of places, specifically Sufficient Velocity and Fanfiction.net, if you prefer either of those sites. Maybe more in the future, idk. We'll see where this goes!
Jaune Arc was not a very complicated young man. He wanted to be a huntsman, to continue his family's legacy and make something of himself. Quite a few of his sisters were accomplished graduates of the huntsman academies, having teams of their own, and of course his parents were huntsmen too...
I've worked a little bit on a new idea I had. I've been trying to find the motivation to write more often again, but that's always been difficult for me.
