Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Nyx Irae would be a somewhat ironic name. Among other things, Nyx is also, if I remember right, the name of a FILLYFIED Nightmare Moon in a few fanfics...
I imagine we'd go basically in order of
1)try to get her bindings, either forced from Copper or by making a deal with Neighnia.
2)reach a satisfactory deal with Neighnia if at all possible.
Also I'm not even sure we CAN kill Neighnia.
Winter longs are supposedly SUPER-immottal, as in...
Extremely unlikely.
Our master was serious because he was a player, and he was a player because we picked the moth cult in character creation.
What could have happened to make Neighna a player when she was not for centuries?
Right now the only way I know of to turn a Name into a master-tier...
I didn't mean it as a complaint, to be clear
More of a "we have four old style demigods, and a weaker demigoddes in the new style too just because why not!"
eh, BALDOMARE might be a "general" in some ways, but Biedde is very much an assassin.
we're sending basically the best diplomat/survivalist, the best assassin (and either best or second best warrior in existence), the best secret finder and the best lockpicker in existence.
and Selene, because...
I honestly don't remember your plan.
and would you look at that, we're sending FOUR of them (and Selene, which is the next best thing we have)
well, sure, they WERE sus from the start.
But not they're becoming sus-er!
mh... pragmatically, maybe. Though to be fair we've yet to see the full results of Cadance's action.
We know she went there, we know she at least partly failed, but still Twilight is NOT yet Wolf-tier material, and that might very well be due to that choice.
and, before you say otherwise, I...
eh, I don't think we've been THAT arrogant most of the time.
Our main REAL bad decision (probably) was the Twilight's faith one.
Beside that, probably the how we talked of Twilight with the Master.
I can't think of any other BIG objective mistakes. Maybe not checking on the Master or...
I love that "musical". lots of great animatics about it too.
and yeah, a big theme of that series of songs is basically "what's the balancing point between "kindness" and "ruthlessness".
The answer, for the most part, seems to be "be ruthless when you have to, kind when you can afford to"...
We're sending a team OP beyond belief, AND we performed a scrying ritual with a lantern 4 follower.
I think wasting those actions is basically impossible. I'd expect the difference between before and after being equivalent to AT BEST accomplishing an extra objective (let's say 3 instead of 2)...
finally an objectively good reason to bring them!
[X] Plan: They Have A Winter Name
I changed my mind, for two main reasons.
1) Neighnia PROBABLY > Manuscripts. I'm kinda expecting us to have to do a follow-up next turn anyway to pursue the secondary objectives, and Manuscripts in the wild...
I'd be VERY surprised if Comet listened to Baldomare. As in, to him she's a Name, a monster in pony form.
Keep in mind that his main experience with Names was The Master, and the last time they met he was bargaining for his own life, trading Shining Armor in exchange.
To US Baldomare is the...
to be fair expeditions (at least short ones) only really cost an action from the leader, so a follow-up to this turn's assault is relatively simple to organize and afford.
But yeah, next turn there's a LOT of stuff we can or might want to do.
1)Follow up on Copper
2)Finish Outsider if it's not...
For once I agree with Shaper.
problem is, Neighnia KNOWS about us. After all Copper had her target us with an EiB.
So if we don't have the bindings there's a risk of her talking. Which is bad until at least Celestia "calms down" so to speak.
I'm mostly assuming we'll either go for Neighnia...
eh, she's a big princess. Plan for Steppes seems to be to try and get him to visit us so he'll be safe in case something happens in his city.
well, he COULD offer lodgings for the Names, I suppose. I'd rather not involve him though, just in case.
uh, good idea actually. We'd roll at a penalty I imagine, but even a low-rank expedition would be nice, and supposedly there's an easy one around.
We might be told by Rarity, Selene or the staff about the Everfree, the castle in it, or other similar things...
Because Mareinette would ask...
