Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

This has all the sort of flags to trigger as a crusade for this unit and the fleet. Now they just have to work over both salvage and pay. Salvage will be a real pain without a contract before landing.

Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

Yeah. Ironically enough compared to Hohiro, Takashi is a blazing reformer even more than Theodore was after Takashi. The Combine would have collapsed economically if Hohiro ruled for significantly more time, especially with Katrina and Hanse as enemies. Right now the Combine is ruled by...

Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

The Combine response should be Takashi talking sane responses, if brutal. The real fear would be the Black Dragon using this as a way to paint the Coordinator as being too liberal. Takashi did dodge over 8 serious assassination attempts.

Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

This is the era in which the Big Mac has been getting a lot of the CapCon's resources and attention while the Highlanders have been taken for granted. They may end up returning home sooner than they did OTL. I am pretty sure the servitor/citizen divide of the Confederation is much worse than...

Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

It might leak out to the Capcom once they are told and thus they may attempt to launch an attack to retake the planet and to also get the shinies. It would likely backfire.

I wonder how he is going to handle revealing things to the Davions. That is where the major headache will come from with his allies.

Are those special AP gauss shells or just different naming conventions?

Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

Getting that original version published is a potential bomb for the Combine. Ironically enough Takashi would probably be for it, he wanted to be a reformer even more then he was. He just spent too much time trying to dodge assassinations since what he did put in was too radical.

Yeah, I call bull shit on hearing about Kentares until at least the tail end of the Golden Century. It sounds like making shit up to make themselves sound better.

Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

The FWL, Lyrans, and Davions are much better stewards of former Hegemony worlds than the Cappellans or the Combine. THat is not a high bar to clear and the war crimes in the first and second succession war were inflicted by everyone.

Considering what Northwind is home to, all it needs is for this to get out with more proof and when Gene goes into the Periphery again he will have a large pool of potential people to sort through. That is not even counting that he might as well be a Knight from the Star League, out of time...

Yeah, something really weird happened here. Going to be a major quest for him after they take Dieron. You will probably have multiple Northwind people signing up for this too.

Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

Depending on what is in everything and the orders there, it may end up causing all sorts of long-term issues. Especially between the Northwind Highlanders and the CapCom. Or else nothing comes of it.

Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

So how do the Davions even handle a reward like this. This is a shitlosd of desperately needed hardware being handed over. Not even counting the very important documentation and tech manuals hidden all here. Does Gene get a few vehicle companies as his share, does the FedSuns throw more...

The AFSS will love a large number of Fury tanks, especially at this point. Even more so if they are Star League Royal vintage. Built-in AMS, an Infantry bay, and 13.5 tons of FF armor. Can't forget the advanced computer system which was described as primitive C3.

Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

It requires a lot of time and money to train up a force like the SLDF or the modern Western AirLand Battle or the more modern Full-spectrum dominance. This is not helped by the fact of the five successor states the three of them have internal issues that prevent them from being developed or...

Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

Yeah, they show up at the factory and they then have to explain why such high-quality APCs and IFVs are not available to the Fedsuns? The Bandit is a 50-ton hovercraft, moving 10/15, with 7 tons of weapon space, 11 tons of armor, and 4 tons of infantry space. The Badger is a 30-ton tracked...

Battletech: The Ghost Who Walks (Battletech Isekai)

Well, how do they apply the pressure on Blackwell to improve production? OTL the Dragoons never authorized Blackwell to sell it to anyone else, somehow letting a company in the Fedsuns sell a quality assault mech design only to a merc unit. A Merc unit that has enlisted with their enemies at...

Regardless of what sort of damage Comstar actually suffers from the mass broadcast, it will force them to get off their ass, harden the network and perhaps actually try to understand the complete ins and outs of the HPG. The only reason they are trusted and allowed to exist is the management...
