An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
We've issued a clarification on our policy on AI-generated work.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
To chuck my own opinion on the shit mountain...
I'm not entirely happy with this ruling, but I don't see a way to practically resolve my issues so I can't complain.
As long as appropriate measures are taken against people who truly take the piss, it should be fine.
I consider AI generated...
Very interesting start, but a lot seems to happen in the second chapter with the protagonist seemingly just having knowledge he doesn't demonstrate a mechanism for knowing.
Of course if you're writing a story heavily focused around time fuckery a lot can be excused, but overall things feel kinda...
It's always good to see a well-written Cultist Simulator fic, even if it's a relatively short one-shot.
Giving me the itch to get back to it again lol.
You do not respond to a teleporter and a speedster the same way.
You do not respond to a mind controller and a minion summoner the same way.
You do not respond to a precog and an emotion senser the same way.
You do not respond to the sheer breadth of the shaker and breaker the same way.
if you...
The problem is the number of quests, both on this site as well as others, that utilise Wildbow's system for various things out of convenience.
Wildbow's model is even worse when you consider its supposed in-universe use.
This is intended as an ability descriptor short-hand for general use as...
There's no defined scale at this time, something to work on perhaps, and the system is descriptive rather than prescriptive, so it should be equally applicable to magic users.
Friends, Romans, Countrypersons.
Today I come to you with a proposal.
A proposal to strike down the tyranny imposed by Wildbow's wildly sub-par power classification system implemented in and popularized by Worm!
I realise this comes out of nowhere, but this has gone on too long. No longer...
The bit that "triggered" me is that kind of pretty serious ailment being given as part of a "boon" that could not be denied, and the MC seeming not to even notice (an attitude seemingly shared by you.)
When I first read that I was gonna comment, but the MC completely ignoring it made me forget...
But yeah, it's a bit shitty that a randomly obtained positive perk would have such a, debatably, massive downside without even giving the "player" a choice to reject it. It kind of sets a bad...
[X] Eat YOU? Foolish Oni, it will be MIO that does the eating here!
-[X] Force some of your chakra shroud into his gut and see if you can wrap it around what's in there. See if you can keep a link going both ways.
--[X] Give him a fight first, but if you need to dodge then swap into his insides...
[X] Eat YOU? Foolish Oni, it will be MIO that does the eating here!
-[X] Draw in your chakra shroud around you... GO WILD!
--[X] If it seems like you're losing the fight... then retreat with a Kawarimi.
I'm happy with how this turned out.
[X] You've been eating a lot of nasty things lately. You're gonna eat this too.
Because now that we have this arm, we might as well go full bore.
Also, as if there could be any other choice from me.
I am the guy that promotes eating gods for their power, after all.
Demons aren't exempt from...
Leaving the parasite that has proven itself willing and able to contaminate our minds to gather its strength and worm itself in is a frankly stupid idea.
You people voted to attach the thing to Mio, at least have the decency to make sure it does not eat her from the inside.
[X] You need to beat the will behind your new arm into submission, somehow.
I think this is perhaps the first time in my life I've been disappointed at how fast a story I like updated.
I fully expect the arm to be faking weakness and will never be comfortable with it until it proves itself...
