The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Pretty sure this is spill over from people finding QQ (and SB & SV) from authors crossposting to RoyalRoad. It makes sense on there as there's no Like button, so the way to show no effort appreciation is a TFTC post. And they just continue from habit here. Maybe a post on the FAQ about the Like...
It's a really good illustration of how damaging it is for a noble mother to die before she can educate her daughter(s). IMO, this is the end result of Catelyn's mother dying when she was still a girl, and Ned's mother dying before her time too. Catelyn never got the tutelage in the realpolitik...
Isn't the story he's been telling everyone is that he was Grayven, who travelled through the Bleed to escape from Darkseid's dominion/find somewhere he could conquer and be sole Power, became Paul in our magicless Earth, then somehow ended back up in DC-verse where his memories came back? So...
Should be Council.
Counsel is advice (Gandalf gave wise counsel) or a lawyer (He's counsel for the defendant). Council is an advisory or deliberative group (City Council).
My favorite gamer system is in Maxfic's Naruto: The Gamer Files. It provides a solid way to incorporate dungeons, it puts a sensible limit on grindable stat points, and it does a good job of integrating a party system.
Isn't this just for Senators? One third of them are up for election every 2 years, but I thought all the Representatives were also up for re-election every 2 years?
From my reading of it, Karmang played the peacemaker until he maneuvered the entire Red leadership into one place, then suckered them into a mental-communion while he started casting H'ronmeer's Curse, which turns on the Burning Martian matter disruption aura without stabilizing it. This causes...
The universally accepted reference that Josephus makes is to the death by stoning of "the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ, whose name was James" (aka James the Just) in ~62 AD. A major Romano-Jewish historian who was a friend and advisor of the Roman Emperor isn't going to use that...
It's accepted by historical scholars that Jesus existed and founded Christianity because of mentions in the works of Flavius Josephus and Tacitus. His physicsl appearance is never mentioned.
Just found this and read the whole thing. Amazing job. You've written one of the most enjoyably adroit villains I've ever had the pleasure of reading. He's truly multiple steps ahead of all his opponents, he's capitalized on his Out of Context advantage brilliantly, he's used forbidden magic...
