Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

For a moment I thought Glaistig Uaine went into the desert right after Taylor. I guess she has her own way out of the Birdcage and would visit Brockton Bay to take another look at the desert.
....alright, how the fuck did Taylor know that Glaistig Uaine could take the Butcher ghosts without stealing the powers before ever laying eyes on her with Sorcerer's sight? After this was shown I find it hard to believe that she'd have been ready to accept their permanent residence in her head.
How did those four words "pull back the curtain"? I suppose it may be the revelation that even a top tier parahuman such as the Butcher, that non-parahumans are commonly thought helpless against, could be brought down by mundane weaponry in the hands of someone whose power ostensibly didn't help...
So, because Taylor being able to deduce that after killing the Butcher she'd be spared the voices for some reason would be too neat and painless, my guess is this:
After gaining the regeneration charm from LizardTail, she can now exploit the one she got from Cuff that provides Willpower when...
I think Eligos and a bunch of other Fallen basically (invented and) converted to Esperism after she killed Behemoth. It's somewhat understandable that at least some Endbringer cultists would: if you start worshipping something because of its unmatched destructive power, destroying it would let...
Of course Saint is a reasonable martyr in this world, amazing :D.
I wonder if 17 dooms queued up means that the first 16 are actually supposed to leave her alive so she experiences all of them?
Guess it confirms my theory of the author's interpretation of grimderp that I posited after the E88 all died offscreen: ignominious deaths for characters that have had some significant narrative investment reinforces the idea of universal worthlessness of... anything, in the story's world...
Big oof on the Aisha part.
That's a gem of a pun.
Evil Taylor probably figured out when Taylor was struck by Karmic Retribution, since that's definitely something she'd like to tell Taylor was her own fault.
I do still wonder what made her suddenly go quiet and run out of the room...
Too bad about losing the amulet... Also, how is Taylor gonna get rid of the spinal override before she exits the desert, which is when she'll presumably enter range of its signal again?
Ayyyyyyyy
Found in the third chapter. Aware this isn't the only story where she voices this sentiment, but most don't actually force her to put her money where her mouth is!
There's a variety of reasons I'm less than satisfied with how things are going, but one stands above all others in prominence: Jack Slash is just an obnoxious character to have on screen.
But yeah, Taylor not dodging Mannequin when she 100% knows he's about to retaliate for her refusal of his...
I suppose you have a point when one distinguishes between grimdark and grimderp. In grimdark "rocks fall, half the established characters die" would be an absurd waste of already written development when you could instead make use of it to make them all die more... poignantly. The grimderp take...
So now Taylor can turn anyone into a Nazi with a touch.
This is fine.
Wonder if Alexandria's body being temporally locked translates to immunity here, considering this is still a Shard power....
The paperwork is one thing, but if Vista was committed to quitting, what could they even do? Even assuming she didn't have a power that made containing her almost impossible without some kind of Bio-shaker or -tinker, which they don't have, are they gonna try and arrest her at home to abduct to...
Gotta admit, the nanites were a good twist. So the glow in Sorcerer's Sight apparently doesn't "radiate" beyond an object's actual size.
EDIT: NEVERMIND, I SHOULD BE IN BED.
