    With protag having literally deleted the entire Scourge armies that were outdoors ICC there's no real reason why the invading army of the light would need to stop at the entrance... Also, in canon Arthas used the Icecrown citadel as a test/filter so the small group that'd end up reaching him...

    The entire white space is the space gained, both horizontally by removing the silly borders, and vertically by squishing out the wasted space between forum items.

    the amount of space freed up is space that'd be used for text, meaning less pointless scrolling up and down. QoL increase at no cost.

    That's another nice improvement, and while on the subject would it be possible to adjust the Style(s) so that there's less wasted space between forum items basically everywhere on the screen? The less of the screen is wasted on those the more is freed up for the text people are actually posting...
