    That's to be expect since you don't have a definite list of settings put out that your are comfortable with doing. Heck, even I'm just going by your Jumpchain chapters. Which include Buffy, Harry Potter, Mass Effect, Neverwinter Nights, Dahak Chronicles, Terminator, Fallout, Etc.

    A Inspired Inventor or Tinker of Fiction would be much easier to steer the story as tech wanks go anyway. Celestial Forge fic tend to either die young or get muddled up in a bunch of heavy exposition.

    That about it. She managed to stalemate the Terrans but even then she was fending off her rivals and forced to step down. The next to take over, Dumushirs, were basically very not-interested in conflict. Until the next Interstellar War, initiated by the Terrans, for course. :p

    Her plan was to basically "humble the barbarians," but I should note if she wanted to go further she could totally have gone scorched earth. The Terrans military was not at a good point at this time. Ironically it's after this the Terrans start to take a more proactive stance on things.

    The Fourth Interstellar War happened for very dumb reasons. Basically the Terrans couldn't control their borders and smugglers well enough.

    The first 8-ish interstellar wars basically ended after each side pounded each others navies to scrap. The Terrans withdrew because all their fleets were gone, the Vilani withdrew because their money transaction from the bank was too slow.
