The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Meant to reply sooner but the site updated. smh my head.
I thought I mentioned this somewhere (probably forgot to transcribe from my notes), but the pouch dice will be on a per-quest basis, set up by the QM. I haven't quite solidified how I want the maluses and bonuses to interact with the...
This is pretty cool, it reminds me of Scribblehub and other such sites. Personally, I enjoy custom tags when they are used as inside jokes, but AO3 is the perfect example of why that is not a good idea. Even QQ has some completely redundant tags.
Thanks for the recs. Funny you should mention it, I was actually thinking of AO3 for the search filtering.
Yeah, I went to look at my sent messages and they opened up like I was editing a quest. Some weird stuff going on there.
I see your point, I had considered not focusing on the questing aspect (I still will though). I also think I got lost in the sauce lol. Back to your point, some authors like to do prep work, not everything in a quest is made on the fly, after all.
For those who do, I'd still like to present...
I know what you mean, that is very disruptive when you just want to read. (Though I think, they can be pretty funny.)
You are not the first person to suggest something like this, as a brokie, I didn't even know about this problem but in retrospect, it is obviously not a straightforward process...
Hello there. I'm making this to gauge interest in a fiction.live (akun) alternative I have been thinking of making for some time now.
For those of you who, for some reason, clicked on this thread with no idea about what akun is, it's a website for hosting and reading quests live, where the QM...
Done. The Patreon aspect sounds very hard to implement but I imagine it could have proportionate rewards. I'll look into how viable it is after people are actually using the site.
Minus the Founders thing, I like the idea of more GoG fics. As a concept I feel like it can be up there with Waifu Catalog, R34 Economy, Celestial stuff, etc.
What's your thought process when you write The Nightmare? What did you reference? It's been a while since I read it but that was probably the most visceral fic I've ever read.
