The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Hmm. I can't say I enjoyed most of the political whinging, but it was pretty contained. Don't think it was affecting things elsewhere.
...but I guess it comes down to mod workload more than anything.
I suppose you'll claim false equivalency if I reduce your posts to IT'S NOT GENOCIDE IT'S NOT GENOCIDE?
With some added spite, naturally.
...so you actually are going to try quibble about the definition of "depend".
It does imply you agreed, because your post implied you agreed. "That...
>literally more than half of it just personal attacks or spite in the place of argument.
To be expected I suppose.
...but I just couldn't let this go. My folly, I know.
My statement: "Kill people who commit war crimes, but don't commit war crimes to kill people who commit war crimes" feels...
That bit in quotes in my post? From Article II of the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide, defining genocide. The US has ratified that, though naturally with the reservation that our consent is necessary for any of our citizens to be tried before an international court...
Would you prefer I edited to "One doesn't get to compare it..." ?
No, it isn't. By definition
No, it does not. It falls on those you refer to as having questionable innocence and the innocent, before we talk about how questionable the innocence of the first group is.
You are explicitly...
You responded to my response to Crossy, which was quite specifically about that. So...
If we are speaking more generally, however:
This isn't even about the proposal of the largest full scale war in world history. It's about proposing genocide. I think hand wringing over genocide is always...
You're entitled to that opinion - that mass murder is the most effective method of solving the problem, that morals are irrelevant, and that that the millions of lost lives mean comparatively little in the face of our lives.
You don't get to compare it to "not calling out the nazis on their...
Hmm.
"Kill people who commit war crimes, but don't commit war crimes to kill people who commit war crimes" feels like not calling out the nazis on their bullshit?
I really hope so, it would help a lot. Most of my complaints are derived from that one.
I'm gonna criticize the fight on her managing the win because I'm imagining the alternative, and it is just flat out a more entertaining story.
Ren winning that fight would have greatly helped with his...
