  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

    The Great Foreskin Debate

Well since the thing he quoted contained neither of those things... A more accurate statement would have been "doesn't cost anything in relation to the cost of birth and aftercare," but forgive me for engaging in slight hyperbole. That also says that it costs at least 150$ without...

They do not in fact cost money and take about 30 seconds to perform.

    The Great Foreskin Debate

The same logic can be applied to both situations, one is merely more extreme than the other. You are using an emotional argument, it's literally impossible to refute it because it's based on feelings and personal morals, neither of which can actually be debated.

    The Great Foreskin Debate

I am not in fact doing so, I believe that it's a personal choice. I am neither for nor against it, I see the benefits and I see the risks, so fuck off with your moralizing bullshit.

And you deciding what is acceptable risk and what isn't is ethical all of a sudden?

    The Great Foreskin Debate

You are not showing that it is directly harmful. You have shown it carries risks. Playing videogames carries risks. Everything carries risks. What you are saying is not utilitarianism, as that type of argument would look at eerything available, like the hygiene argument.

Unless you believe that circumcision is necessary to avoid being sent to hell. You know, is jewish and some christian's belief. Oh hey, look at that, you're still using emotional arguments. And I haven't shown any outrage, this is just how I debate against morons.

    The Great Foreskin Debate

You're calling us kids? Buddy, you got jack shit. A vitamin K shot is not a necessary risk. I't a useful one, but it's not necessary. Driving in a car certainly isn't necessary. Everything you do, say, and breath carries risk. Being in a hospital at all carries risks.

And You fail to see past your own gigantic fucking ego. You have not proven that it is wrong, you have shown it carries risk, much like everything else on the fucking planet.

Which are.... at the same rate as fucking ear piercing. I bet even vaccines have that risk. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/00046738.htm Low and behold, they do! It's rare, but it can in fact happen. You have failed to prove anything.

    The Great Foreskin Debate

Oh, so an emotional appeal. I don't give a fuck about what you feel, I'll start giving a fuck when you can start proving it.

    The Great Foreskin Debate

Being that they both carry the same risk factor, are both for the same thing(except that one of these is possibly religious and the other never is), they are a valid comparison. So, ya.

    The Great Foreskin Debate

The risk is literally so low as to only cause an issue a few times out of several million. This is literally less risky than getting an ear piercing.

True. So don't say something is or is not the case vis-a-vis sensitivity. I was not able to find the paper I got that from(it was focused on sensitivity changes as a result of puberty IIRC) after searching. I did find this though: http://thecircumcisiondecision.com/20000-nerve-endings/...

    The Great Foreskin Debate

Toes serve a vital function of helping you not fall down onto your face/onto your side. The foreskin fulfills almost no function and has been shown to be actively detrimental in some circumstances(it's a germ breeding ground, people who have it are more likely to get STDs without a condom, etc)...
