Aeternum: Chat Group Synopsis

Five individuals. Five people who, in normal situations, wouldn't even know each other. They came together, traveled through different worlds, and grew in ways they never imagined.

The first found love in the second; the second finally managed to awaken his latent potential, the third achieved his dream sooner than expected, the fourth connected with a purpose he never expected. Finally, the fifth reached and surpassed his ideal.

These five individuals changed their lives, they were all friends and family. They all supported each other.

-Yes! Surpass your limits and touch the firmament! The five of us are waiting for you, dear heirs!

Chapter 1: New possibilities

A long sigh was heard inside an empty room. The walls looked cold in their construction and there was barely a candlelight illuminating the place. The person responsible for the sigh was sitting while leaning on a table that he had moved near the window. His arms were on the table while he rested his chin on his upper limbs. His black hair seemed messier than usual, and his eyes behind the round-framed glasses did not have their peculiar shine that caught the attention of many.

In short, the young man seemed discouraged.

And it was normal given his current circumstances: the Triwizard Tournament. Harry Potter, the so-called boy-who-lived, was forced to participate in this tournament which, now being inside it, he realized how dangerous it could be. Honestly speaking, he just wanted to stand aside and watch as the true champions competed for glory and the prize in galleons.

The worst part of all this was that the school had turned against him, once again. His friend Ronald Weasley had become enraged because he thought Harry wanted all the glory for himself. He never believed in his so-called friend, in fact he didn't even listen to Harry.

Hermione was a little different. And while she heard him, she still kept a little distance from him, as if she really wasn't entirely sure about Harry's words. So, for two days now he had been coming to this place - at night - to be able to rest from all the whispers, insults and dirty looks. And, now, as he hid his face between his arms stretched out on the table, he just wanted to scream; he wanted to let it all out, to vent all the injustices that have plagued his life since he was born.

His uncles, the dangers he has experienced since he entered Hogwarts at the age of eleven, the treatment he received from Snape, the rumors about him from the students, the bad looks from them and the words behind his back.

He just... wanted to let it all out.

Then, when he had really lifted his head from his arms and opened his mouth, ready to scream and let out all his frustration and anger, he was surprised when he saw something strange in front of him. Something had appeared in front of his face, just a few centimeters away from him, not even a meter away.

[Do you want to live better?... Be stronger, freer and keep your destiny close to your hands?]

[If the answer is yes, then you just have to press the button]

[Yes] - [No]

"What... kind of magic is this?", muttering slowly as he looked at the apparent floating screen, he had read the words that were present. His fingers moved in a kind of spasm, trying to figure out what kind of joke this was, or if he was simply hallucinating after thinking so much about his life.

This was strange..., was what Harry thought, especially after thinking about the strange and dangerous events that had plagued his life since he was eleven. This was definitely the strangest thing that had ever happened to him in his entire life.

A floating screen? What was this?... But, the words were clear and precise, as if they were meant only for him. He wanted that... to live better... to be free... and for others not to have decisions about what he could or could not do in his life.

Then, almost unconsciously, Harry slowly moved his hand. His finger was not fully extended, as if he was testing if he could really touch the screen. And it worked: when he touched the affirmative option, the screen faded into a blue line before a noise caught Harry Potter's attention.

In front of him, just to the side of his left arm, was what looked like a device with a screen. Carefully, he picked it up and examined it. The thing was bigger than one of his hands and had a rectangular shape with a screen that barely left any edges. On the right side, there were two buttons, one longer than the other. On the back, a black color with a small circle on top was clearly visible, just below a larger circle that seemed to have four things he didn't know what they were.

Suddenly, Harry blinked and frowned immediately. Oddly enough, he had to blink because something... no, it was better to say that he discovered information in his head that he didn't know before. This was about what he had in his hand.

A smartphone... capable of browsing the internet, taking pictures, playing music and videos, among other things. But, most interestingly, it seemed to be an application that would allow him to talk to other people and also become stronger.

Harry pressed one of the buttons on the side and smiled a little as he saw the screen turn on. After that, he used one of his fingers to scroll through the options and begin setting up the phone, especially with his fingerprint. Having finished that in a couple of minutes, he went straight into the app he had gained knowledge of.

As he entered, he blinked as he had a smaller window over the chat.

"Huh?... A welcome gift?" Harry muttered a bit confused and curious.

[As the first member of the chat group, you can choose one of the options as a gift]

[By choosing one of the options, you will get a random gift from that category]

Harry gently scratched his cheek with his index finger. Honestly, there were a lot of categories to choose from. And, despite several being described by their names, some were confusing to him.

"Well... choosing something I have no idea about might just be silly. I'll choose the [Magic] category after all," Harry muttered and pressed the said category. At that moment, a glowing gift box was shown; he simply pressed the screen again before an animation of the gift opening was shown.

[Congratulations! [You have obtained the Magic: Memory-Make!]

Harry tilted his head slightly, completely bewildered. He didn't know what this type of magic was, but if he had to draw a conclusion, it would be something related to memory. But, from one moment to the next, he felt himself gaining knowledge and power over said magic. He could even see a slight aura surrounding his body.

It was at that very moment that he realized how powerful this magic could be.

Memory-Make, a type of magic that grants the caster the ability to manipulate memories. It also gives the user an incredible memory ability, being able to memorize the opponent's heartbeats, footsteps, and magic. The caster can also create "memories" of themselves that are similar to holograms. This magic also allows the user to create new magic spells by combining spells from other magic that the user has memorized before. In addition, the user can negate magic spells used by the opponent that the user had already memorized by "forgetting" the spell.

This wasn't all, because Harry also understood that by having this kind of magic, no one could manipulate his memories, nor read his memories. This was definitely a powerful and convenient magic! And while at the moment it was a bit useless, Harry knew that he only had to see how strong people like Dumbledore or Snape cast magic so that he could remember them and use them at another time.

"How great! This will be very helpful with the tournament!" Excited about his future possibilities, Harry exclaimed a little before realizing that he could be discovered outside his common room during curfew hours.

"I think I better go back to the common room and go to bed. I can find out more about this app tomorrow," he muttered before getting up, placing his invisibility cloak on him and opening the marauders map, so that he could have a smooth path. But, at that moment he realized that the fat lady could be asleep and not open it, or she would but notify that he was not in the common room.

"Well... I'll have to sleep here for today," Harry scratched his head a bit before sighing.

Chapter 2: New Possibilities (2)

Behind a large desk, a young girl with red hair was lightly biting her thumbnail. Her eyes seemed to be fixed on the floor in front of the desk, right between two sofas and a coffee table. Near her, the only light was the lamp on the desk. The rest of the room was lit by candles on some furniture that adorned the room.

Sure, she could turn on the lights, but when it was night, she liked this room to be like this. Besides being alone, this type of environment helped her calm down when she had a lot of things to think about. And, right now, she had only one thing plaguing her mind and not letting her think about anything else. Above all, and unfortunately, it was not a good thing, at least for her.

The young girl lifted one of her legs and placed it on top of the other while she raised her head and moved her finger away from her mouth. A second later she let out an annoyed sigh.

"Thinking so much won't get me anywhere," she stood up after speaking and slowly walked towards the window of the room. It was nighttime, so she couldn't see any people walking around outside, much less see any kind of pretty scenery, but it was better than just sitting for hours, which she had already done.

"Koneko already informed me of the smell that Hyoudou Issei has started to give off. And Akeno informed me that she hasn't seen anything strange," she gritted her teeth a little before rubbing her forehead with one of her hands.

"Honestly, I don't want to recruit him at a bad time... but it's hard to get close to him when he'll only be paying attention to my breasts, or Akeno's. This is so annoying!"

"Eh?", Rias Gremory blinked at seeing something strange in front of her.

[Do you want to break your engagement?... Keep your destiny close to your hands? [Let no one dictate your life?]

[If the answer is yes, just press the button][Yes] - [No]

From magic to monsters and other races, Rias Gremory had seen many things that could be considered rare or strange. However, she had never seen this kind of 'thing'. To her, who knew what magic felt like, this didn't seem like some kind of magic. She knew that the words were specifically for her, but she wasn't entirely sure what to make of it.

But... What if this could actually help her with her engagement?... Was what she thought at the time. Said engagement was what plagued her mind and she had begun to look for methods to end it, to get out of this agreement that she hated.

Rias Gremory might be someone inexperienced, but she wasn't stupid, perhaps a little naive due to that inexperience, but never stupid. She understood her parents' reason behind the engagement, but that didn't mean she had to like the idea. Perhaps, if the person wasn't Riser Phenex, then I would think about whether it's a good idea or if she would like to be married. But, the moment I hear the name of the Phenex Clan member, I hate the idea immediately.

Devils like her had some kind of trait that was superior to a human's. She didn't quite know hers, but she thought it might be greed. Her brother's, for example, was pride. However, Riser was just... kind of ugly in her opinion. No matter what race he was, but except for angels, everyone had some greed, lust, pride, gluttony, laziness or something... but Riser... he was proud, arrogant, and lustful to the point that it was disgusting.

Thinking about all this, Rias Gremory slowly moved her hand and pressed the button with the affirmative answer. The floating screen with a holographic appearance disappeared in a blue line and she had to reach out her hand to grab the smartphone that appeared out of nowhere.

When she took the phone, she blinked as she knew that there was a special app on the device. And unbeknownst to her, she didn't receive any gifts like someone else. She simply went to the settings to change her visible name for chat members.

Because, even though Princess of Destruction sounded nice, she liked her name to identify herself to other people.

What caught her attention, was that there was only one other member in the chat group, and the name really caught her attention.

Rias Gremory: Hello?... You... Are you really Harry Potter?

Harry Potter: ... Erm... Yes?... At least, the only Harry Potter I know, is myself. Who are you?

"Oh god... Is it really him?" Rias muttered in surprise. She of course knew the name Harry Potter. He was the main character of a rather entertaining book series that she had already read.

Rias Gremory: Umu... well... My name is Rias Gremory. It may be hard to believe, but I am of the devil race and... well... I know you because you are a character in a book series.

Rias moved around the phone and immediately searched for some website where she could download the books. And in fact, it only took a second for the device to search for such a thing and another second to download all the books.

"So fast..." Rias blinked at the download speed. She then sent the download through the chat and waited for a reply. After about thirty minutes and moments of impatience, she heard a notification and opened her eyes as she finished reading the reply.

Harry Potter: It's definitely me!... But this is just hard to digest!... The first pages of the first book match my life and I can remember it perfectly!

Harry Potter: But wait... Does this mean you're from another... world? Universe?... This is so complicated! Not only because I found out that my life could be captured in books! But also because of the damn missions and travels section I just opened!"

"Eh?" Rias tilted her head and noticed an icon on the top right of the chat. It was three parallel lines that displayed a menu with several categories: [Shop] [Quests] [Travel] [Exchange].

Rias first entered the shop, noticing many other categories, from weapons to skills and magic. In fact, there were even magics she didn't know about! Completely unbelievable things from their descriptions that could help her! Unfortunately, they cost what were called chat points. These points were earned in two ways: by completing quests or by exchanging things with other members of the chat group.

Quests were, as their name said, quests or tasks that the chat would launch from time to time. Each of them involved at least two members of the chat and they would have to travel to different worlds to complete them. This was at least with the main quests of the chat group.

Travels were related to quests, but not so closely linked. One could travel to a world already visited by means of points, or tickets that could be obtained through rewards. This meant that they could travel as many times as they wanted as long as they had the necessary!

Rias Gremory: True... But it's still amazing! The possibility of traveling to other worlds is wonderful! One could encounter so many things or discover things that we could consider fantasies!"

Harry Potter: Yeah... In fact, I don't even know what to think about the Devil thing. Do you actually eat souls?"

Rias rolled her eyes, but a small smile appeared on her face. That was always what many humans asked when they met a Devil. But, the reason for her smile was two different things: the first was being able to talk to someone like Harry Potter, who she considered just a character and not someone real. The second was because she felt much calmer not having to think about her commitment.

Rias Gremory:... No, actually that was a long time ago. Now we simply help humans or other races who have requests. By doing this, we charge for the work in many different ways. Simply put, we fulfill the wishes of others and receive rewards of various kinds. Of course, we also have the right to reject any wish that goes against our principles.

Harry Potter: ... Oh... I'm sorry if I offended you in any way.

Rias Gremory: Don't worry, it's just a misunderstanding that we'll always have to deal with.

Rias was about to go back to writing when the sound of a notification rang again and she was surprised to see a window appear hiding a part of the chat.

[Event available]

[A First Trip to the Shinobi World]

(2 members required)

- Objectives -

[Add a new member to the chat group][Defend Konohagakure no Sato]

[Important: Members of the chat group will gain the ability to understand any language they hear, this to facilitate communication. Also, the world each member belongs to will have its time stopped until the return of said person]

Rias blinked twice before starting to write.

Rias Gremory: It seems that the first mission has already appeared.

Harry Potter: ... Yes... And I'm honestly nervous. We don't even know what we'll meet. But I think we have to go... not just for the possible rewards. Currently we don't know who sent or created this thing. Maybe we'll know more if we have more members.

Rias Gremory: You're right... then I think we can meet now.

Harry Potter: Yes... we'll see each other wherever this thing sends us.

Chapter 3: Konohagakure no sato

The moment Harry accepted the mission, he was covered in a blue light before disappearing from the chamber of secrets. He had remembered the mythical Slytherin chamber when he was thinking of a place where he couldn't be easily searched or someone could enter the place.

However, any thoughts vanished from his head when he saw Rias Gremory. When he found out that she was a devil through the chat, he was a little scared, thinking that perhaps the smartphone was something dark. In fact, he expected something more... dark and ugly at the time of the meeting. But, her red hair was the most beautiful he had ever seen in his life, her blue eyes shone like two gems and she had flawless skin.

He also didn't expect such a sudden welcome or greeting, he expected something more awkward. That's why he was also surprised when she extended a small notebook with a pencil and asked for an autograph.

Harry could only scratch his head and nod before signing the notebook.

"So... what do we do now?", Harry asked as he looked around. They seemed to be in some kind of forest. The trees stood tall and created some shadows. A few meters away from their spot, a dirt road could be seen leading out of the forest.

"Well... we don't know where we are or even how this world works. The most logical thing would be to find information. The problem would still be there though, since we don't know anyone," Rias commented as she looked around, a little alert.

"By the way...", she turned her head and stared at Harry: "How old are you currently?"

"Fourteen, why?"

"So you're at the time of the Triwizard Tournament," Rias nodded. "You can defend yourself, right?... And I don't mean just stun someone."

"Well...", Harry shifted a little awkwardly. "Yes, I can defend myself, but it would depend on the kind of opponent. I also received an ancient magic from being the first user of the chat. It allows me to remember some types of magic and use them."

"But I don't think you mean all that much..."

"No...", Rias sighed a little dejectedly. "If your world is so similar to the books, then it's not well-regarded... sorry, wrong way to bring that up. The thing is, there's a chance we'll have to kill. The quest clearly states that we have to defend the leaf village."

Harry frowned immediately.

"It's probably because of the dark lords that have existed," Harry replied. "They kill and torture without any problem. So, perhaps, such methods don't even cross their minds, because they don't want to be like them."

"However... even if it's partly Voldemort's fault, I killed Quirrell in my first year. If I really have to get to a point where I have to kill, I'd be upset, but I could get over it easier than other people."

Rias looked at Harry for a few moments before nodding. She had forgotten that the person in front of her was a real person. Someone with memories, feelings, and their own problems and ways of seeing things. This Harry Potter wasn't just a character, he was someone who made his own decisions, even if some of them were bad.

"Then let's walk a bit... I think we should get as much information as possible."

Harry nodded and followed Rias who had started walking.

"By the way, Rias. What kind of powers do you have?... it would be useful to know now and not be surprised later.

Rias nodded, "Aside from my body being better than a human's. I can use demonic power to create certain phenomena: fire, water, wind, earth, and lightning. I can cast different types of attacks. But also, I possess the ability of the power of destruction, this allows me to cast destructive attacks... well, I'm not the best at this, but I can still erase targets that aren't that big and that powerful."

"Eh... those are great skills...", Harry commented a little discouraged at being so weak compared to Rias. He didn't want her to do all the work on this mission.

Rias just smiled slightly before looking ahead, noticing two large gates with walls. There were a few people coming in and out while two guards stood on either side of the gate. Inside, a booth could also be seen off to the side, where two men were sitting.

"They look like soldiers of some sort," Harry muttered quietly, just so Rias could hear him. She just nodded before entering with a bit of nervousness.

"Wait!"

The two of them stopped and turned to the side, where the booth was.

"Yes?", Harry asked a bit nervously.

"You need to register before you can enter," one of the men said seriously.

"Oh... I'm sorry, this is our first time here," Rias smiled friendly before approaching with Harry. The men gave them a sheet of paper each to fill out. It had simple questions like: name, place you're coming from, reason for visiting, and a few other things.

"Would you tell us somewhere to eat or something to entertain us?", Rias asked, without showing any strange expression or nervousness. She was hiding her emotions and expressions quite well.

"If you want something quick, Ichiraku Ramen isn't bad. There's also Yakiniku Q. As for something fun... well, there's the betting house. But the chunin exams will be starting soon."

"I see... thanks," Rias smiled before handing over the paper, as did Harry, who wrote a little slowly to see that he had the same answers as Rias.

As they managed to get further into the village, they noticed how big it was and the monument on a mountain, with carved faces.

"I think it would be good to look for a library first."

"Yeah...", Rias nodded at Harry's idea.

. . .

After a bit of time, they managed to find the library and began reading right away, but the more they did, the more surprised they became. The energy that people in this world used was Chakra, a mixture of the spiritual and physical energy within a person's body.

"This is... a bit different."

"Do you know chakra?" Harry asked curiously.

"In my world it exists as well, but it's mostly something that only Youkai can use. But, within this, there's also Touki, an application and control over one's own life force. And while someone from another race could awaken it, it would be through arduous training that would take years."

"Here, people can use chakra to launch elements from their mouths, or control them in forms of attack and defense with hand seals. This is impressive and also troublesome."

"Do you think we'll be able to learn from this?"

"Difficult..." Rias replied. "At least more for me. I have demonic power, so energies could fight, even if the chakra of this world is part of a person's physical and vital energy and everyone can learn, I don't know to what extent it can be good for me to learn"

"Instead, it might be easier for you. And anyway, I don't know the nature of magic. Is it something that's in the environment and you can absorb? Was it already in your body? Maybe it's just spiritual energy inside you?... But if it's the latter, then those you call muggles could also learn to use magic if they're trained, so I don't know much more than that"

"Magic... well, you need to be born with the 'gene' to be able to use it," Harry replied with a bit of seriousness. "For example, there are muggle-borns because in their family tree there was someone with the 'gene' for magic. The same goes for Squibs, if a magical family produces one, it means that in that family there was a muggle; no matter how far back in time these people lived, if there was only one, then the possibility of a Squib or muggle-born being born will exist."

"But...", Rias frowned a little. "What exactly does that gene do?... Does it allow you to sense the energy called magic? Does it give you access to it?... In fact, what exactly is magic in your world?"

"Uh...", Harry looked a little overwhelmed by the difficult questions to answer. "Is magic different in your world?"

"Yes...", Rias nodded seriously. "Merlin Ambrosius studied demonic power and its uses before creating the method for human magic. After finishing his studies and doing a lot of testing, he created the said system. It works by calculations. 'If I do this, this happens' is a phrase that is used a lot to describe a bit of the magic in my world."

"Of course, there is also Nordic magic, fairy magic, and many other types, but human magic works that way."

"I see...", Harry nodded, understanding Rias' world a bit more. "However, continuing to talk about all this won't help us. We need to find more information. We already know that the village - Konohagakure - is led by a Hokage and the soldiers are shinobi... Ninjas."

"This completely breaks with my idea of ninjas," Rias made a small face as she said that.

"But also the chunin exams, tests to see who is training for a promotion in the ranks will happen soon. I'm not surprised they attack at that time, especially if the tests are public. People would come to watch and the enemy could infiltrate."

"Mmm...", Harry muttered a little while placing two fingers on his chin, thinking about what to do next. They would probably end up being in this world for more than a month, so they needed a place to stay.

"Do you have any way to get money..."

Rias blinked before making another small face, "I don't like it, but I can use hypnosis to take money from some bank in the village or from other people."

Harry blinked before sighing, "It's the only way we have currently, we have no other options."

"And by the way... you definitely need to change your clothes."

"Huh?" Harry looked down and noticed that she was still wearing her Hogwarts robes, over her clothes that looked too big because they belonged to her cousin.

"Yeah..." Harry nodded, and in fact, the thought of having new clothes made stealing feel a little better.

Chapter 4: Konohagakure no sato (2)

"You know... I thought it would be more awkward." Harry spoke as he looked down at his new outfit. It was actually rather simple, but he was glad to have clothes that were truly just his. It was a simple pair of black pants that reached down to his heels and a black shirt with a small red flame on his right shoulder.

His shoes were also changed, to more comfortable black ones with white soles.

(I don't think stores only sell shinobi sandals. And if they do, it doesn't matter, they have more variety here.)

"It's simple, but black really suits you. It brings out your eyes," Rias commented with a nod.

"Thanks...", Harry smiled slightly, taking the compliment.

"What do we do now?", he asked with a bit of doubt. Honestly, they already had enough money for more than a month. And no one will say anything about where that money came from. Besides, they had the information they needed. The library didn't have shinobi techniques, but it did have a lot of information about the world and how it worked.

Now they could only wait until the attack starts, but also look for a third member, which would probably be a bit more difficult than defending Konoha. After all, they didn't want just anyone. They had already talked about it a bit, it had to be someone who was at least somewhat reliable and would be able to help them in the future.

"It would have been useful to have your cloak...", Rias commented, and Harry grimaced slightly. She was right, but it hadn't really crossed his mind before making the trip.

"For now, let's find a place to stay," Rias said.

"Well..."

. . .

"I guess... this will do for now," Rias muttered as she looked around the small apartment. It was a bit far from the center of the village, but it was enough for the short time they would be staying. The apartment was cheap because it was a bit old and had a bathroom, a bedroom, and a small dining room that also functioned as a kitchen.

Harry sat down on one of the chairs and rested his elbows on the table before sighing. It was still amazing that they were in another world. But even with that wonder, they both knew they were in a bit of a bind not knowing what to do next. They couldn't just go around causing trouble, they could only wait.

"Harry... why don't you try to see if you can awaken chakra?" Rias asked curiously. She still had that curiosity on her mind. Especially since the magic of Harry's world was still confusing to her. If Harry was able to awaken chakra somehow, then they could blend in better.

Letting out a sigh, Harry nodded before walking into the room.

"I'll try meditating like the book said, I hope I find out something," he said before closing the door and sitting on the bed. He honestly didn't think it was possible to awaken chakra in his body. He only had the information they found and the method that was mentioned, but there was still the matter of his magic.

Would it be possible to have these two energies in his body?

He had to try, at least.

So, closing his eyes, he focused on his body. The book he read with Rias mentioned a chakra circulatory system, consisting of 361 tenketsu. Rias had mentioned that such a system was too similar to meridians. He didn't know much about it, but she mentioned that the number of pressure points (tenketsu), were the same in quantity as those that existed in his world, when talking about meridians and acupuncture.

So, if a person really had this system in their bodies, it would be possible to awaken chakra. And, after more than half an hour of trying to meditate, he finally felt something in his body. A little below his abdomen, he felt something warm and he concentrated on that while he tried to go deeper.

When he succeeded after an hour of trying, he could feel how empty it was. But, at the same time, he felt like two other points on his body were showing up for him. He couldn't really see it, but he could feel it. It was like a sphere: one below his abdomen, another in the center of his chest, near the heart. And, finally, the last one was in his skull.

Harry was surprised by these discoveries, because it didn't seem to be something purely physical. The point in his skull, however, was completely full. But Harry was a little scared when he felt the energy inside that place, which seemed to fade little by little, decreasing the amount of energy before refilling itself over time.

Harry gritted his teeth because he felt that energy heading towards his scar very slowly, as if it were feeding it little by little. He couldn't do anything to stop it. Instead, what he did was slowly move that energy into the space below his abdomen.

But he knew that wouldn't be enough, so he tried to mix what he believed to be his spiritual energy with the physical energy from his cells all the way through his meridians. One try... a second... third... fourth... tenth... fiftieth... He tried for what seemed like hours and only on his thirtieth try, he could feel a shift in his inner energy and the space below his abdomen seemed to light up with force before it began to feel like his body became a little stronger. And at the same time, by creating a kind of connection between the two places - below the abdomen and in the skull - the energy began to slowly run on its own between the two places.

When Harry opened his eyes, he noticed that the room was dark and the window behind him showed the moon along with the stars.

"It really did take hours..." Harry muttered in surprise. His body was sweaty, but he felt stronger... more powerful. He stood up and walked slowly to the door before opening it. When he walked out, he noticed Rias with her phone in her hand as she slowly ate some barbecue.

When she felt the door open, she looked ahead, blinking and showing a slightly surprised expression at Harry's figure. He looked a little taller, but he was completely sweaty. His hair seemed to stick to his forehead and his shirt to his body.

"How did you end up like this? Wasn't it just meditation?"

"Yeah... I'm a little surprised. But I found out some interesting things."

"Really?!" Asking with a bit of excitement, Rias put her phone down on the table and listened to Harry attentively.

Harry nodded, "Aside from the meridians, I discovered that I had three spaces in my body. One under the abdomen, one in the thorax, and finally one in the skull. My magic was contained in the skull, so it really could be spiritual energy in some form."

"It took me a while, but I managed to connect the one in the skull and the abdomen while uniting the energy stored in the space of my skull with the energy in my cells. By doing this, I was able to achieve a connection and the mixed energy is now slowly running throughout my body."

"So you really did it!"

Harry nodded with a big smile before pulling his wand out from a small bag on his hip and pointing it at a glass on the sink.

"Wingardium Leviosa…" he uttered and watched as the glass began to slowly levitate before he decided to move it a bit.

"Yes… I can still use my spiritual energy on its own. Perhaps, the 'gene' for magic, allows you manipulation and potential to do magic."

"You could be right, but that also means that it allows the body to absorb something from the environment to refill your spiritual energy reserves," Rias commented as she thought for a bit, "I mean, chakra slowly recovers when shinobi use it, or so the book said. And while spiritual energy comes from experience and exercise, then, it is different from physical energy that comes from the cells of the body."

"Now I am very curious…" Harry leaned forward a bit, with his arms hanging down. "You'll make me end up studying and researching too much when I get back to my world."

Harry wasn't one to study too much, but with a topic like this, many would be curious and at least look into researching a bit more. However, now that they would have to travel again for other missions in the future, he had to become stronger and understand his magic much more clearly.

So, Harry had two reasons to study and research when he flies back to his world: Curiosity and becoming stronger.

"I'll go take a shower by the way, I don't like being covered in sweat."

"Well... when you get back, eat something. I went to buy a barbecue for dinner."

"Thanks...", Harry smiled before walking to the bathroom.

Chapter 5: Konohagakure no sato (3) - Uzumaki Naruto

With the discovery of chakra and Harry's subsequent awakening, he had attempted to throw fire from his mouth, without hand seals and simply trying to change the neutral energy in his body to a fire nature. However, such a thing proved impossible for him. He could only practice the one jutsu that appeared in the civilian library: Kawarimi no Jutsu.

But, at the same time that he trained and got used to chakra, Rias and Harry had walked around the village, discovering new things as the days went by. They had not met other people beyond greetings or shopping interactions. One of the several things that caught their attention, were the sealing scrolls, where you could store things and then take them back.

When they decided to look into the library about this, they discovered that the art was called Fuuinjutsu. But the description was vague, only saying that it was one of the shinobi branches that created seals for multiple purposes.

However, Harry decided to buy some because of how useful they could become in his world.

When a week had passed, they had a somewhat surprising encounter. As they left the apartment and walked down the hallway outside, they saw a blonde boy dressed in an orange outfit come out of the neighboring apartment; Rias and Harry noticed the mess and trash on the floor inside the apartment and made a face.

"What are you looking at-ttebayo?", the boy seemed to not take the grimace well and spoke in a somewhat rude manner.

"You should tidy up and clean your apartment a bit, it looked really bad," Harry decided to respond kindly. He didn't want to create unnecessary trouble, even if it was with someone younger than him. In this world, a twelve-year-old boy could very well be stronger than him.

The boy blinked before scratching his head and looking back: "Maybe... uh... I don't really have any visitors... and it's annoying to tidy up."

"By the way, who are they?"

"Harry Potter"

"Rias Gremory..."

Naruto just seemed to notice Rias and his eyes widened at the sight of her hair: "Woaah~... your hair really is pretty, nee-chan."

Rias smiled amiably: "Thank you... but, what's your name?"

"Uzumaki Naruto! And I'm the person who will become Hokage!" Naruto exclaimed while pointing at himself with his left thumb.

"You want to be Hokage?" Rias asked and Naruto nodded vigorously. "Then that will be a difficult path."

"But I never give up!" Naruto said with a seriousness that surprised the duo.

"Then I guess you have to study hard," Harry muttered with a small grimace.

"Huh? For what?"

Rias laughed lightly seeing the confusion on Naruto's face.

"We're not from Konoha, but we read and heard from the Hokage. If you want to be a leader, you probably need to study to know the procedures needed for the job. Also, you're shinobi right?... then it would be hard to send someone on a mission that could end in the death of an ally."

"So..." Rias looked at her hand holding up three fingers, "Maybe it takes intelligence, power, and a great deal of determination."

Naruto pouted upon hearing that.

"But studying is so boring..."

"Yeah... but sometimes it's necessary," Harry laughed a little before speaking, looking at Naruto closely. For some reason, Naruto seemed a bit like him. Not in appearance, much less in personality, but rather the way he acted or the distrust with which he looked at them at first.

"Where are you guys going?" Naruto asked as he watched Rias walk towards the stairs.

"To walk around for a bit. We came to the village for a visit and we want to see a bit more. Although we also heard about the chunin exam..."

"Oh, yeah! I participated and made it to the finals!"

"Really?" Harry asked curiously.

"Yeah!" Naruto exclaimed, jumping as he followed them.

. . .

Rias and Harry didn't know how they ended up eating ramen. They had been walking around while talking to Naruto and for some reason, they ended up at Ichiraku Ramen, where Naruto walked in so naturally that the two thought they were led to the place, when they always walked one step ahead of Naruto.

It was a little weird...

However, the taste of the ramen was simply heavenly.

"I think I just found a favorite food," Harry smiled as he brought a piece of pork to his mouth.

"Even though I'm not a fan of this, I could eat at least one a day," Rias commented impressed by the taste of the food.

"Teuchi-san is the best at cooking ramen!" Naruto exclaimed raising his fists.

"By the way, I want another bowl," he smiled at Teuchi, who just nodded before exclaiming and starting to prepare the bowl.

"Naruto... Why did people look at you badly?" Harry asked with a small frown.

The blond froze for a few seconds before looking at the table, showing a bit of sadness.

"They think I'm a demon... it's always been like that, ever since I can remember they've treated me that way," he muttered quietly, but Rias and Harry heard him clearly. They both frowned a bit, not happy with the answer.

"Trust me Naruto, a demon is scarier than you," Rias spoke with a serious tone uncommon for her.

"But why do they think that?... I mean, from what you told us, you've only ever made jokes. Even the most annoying or irrational person wouldn't consider you a real demon," Harry said, moving his chopsticks with a bit of difficulty as he tried to hold another piece of meat.

"Um... well..." Naruto got a bit nervous. "It's a secret... I'm not supposed to say it."

Now the two travelers raised their eyebrows, showing how curious they were about Naruto's answer. However, they wouldn't push the issue any further. If it was a secret, it could be something annoying or dangerous for them.

"If it's a secret, then it doesn't matter," Rias said before sighing and taking a glass of water in front of her and drinking some.

"By the way, Naruto. Changing the subject completely, do you know any techniques you can teach me? I can use chakra, but I'm not a trained shinobi. Learning something might prove useful for future travels."

"You bet I know!" Naruto exclaimed immediately, changing his mood to a happier one. "I have this cool technique that allows you to clone yourself. Also the perfect technique to defeat perverts."

Rias raised an eyebrow, showing her interest: "Clones? How would you do that?"

Naruto smiled like a fox and his eyes turned into slits before forming a hand seal.

"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu," he said before several smoke bursts appeared and then five clones showed themselves.

"That's... impressive," Harry muttered, but he was a little stiff as he felt his Memory-maker magic working with the technique. He could remember it in a different way than a normal memory and he felt like he could do it now. He understood that, now that he possessed chakra, Memory-Maker allowed him to learn shinobi techniques, but not use them like he would with magic.

For the latter, he would have to use his magic power and place his fingers on his temple before casting the magic he remembered. In the case of a shinobi technique, he would probably be able to cast it after seeing said technique once, but the control over that technique would be poor at best. Therefore, he would have to train to improve and fully master the technique.

"You should be good at using this...", Rias commented as she touched the hair of a clone. "It's not an illusion"

"Yes!... I mean, I have better chakra control now. Ero-Sennin started training me yesterday"

Chapter 6: Konohagakure no sato (4) - The Three Energies

Inside an office overlooking the leaf village, a man sat as he looked through a few papers and held a pipe in his mouth. Tobacco smoke slowly drifted out and floated before disappearing. This man was Sarutobi Hiruzen, the third Hokage. But, while he was having a quiet day, something had happened that caught his attention and he called for an investigation. And it had been over three hours since then.

"Hokage-sama," a voice interrupted him and he looked ahead, seeing one of his Anbu kneeling on the floor in front of his desk. Hiruzen only kept his gaze on him for a few seconds before returning to the papers, but his mouth moved slowly to speak.

"How was it?"

"Nothing out of the ordinary really," the Anbu replied. "The two people who spoke to Uzumaki Naruto are not shinobi. In fact, it was a coincidence that they met, the two of them live in the apartment next to the young Uzumaki."

"What do your instincts and years of experience tell you?"

"The young man asked if Uzumaki Naruto could teach him some shinobi techniques, saying that it would be good to have something better to defend himself with on his future travels. He didn't really look dangerous, but he was attentive to his surroundings. In short, from everything I observed of him, he had already fought before and didn't trust new people very much."

"And the girl?", Hiruzen asked.

"And the girl?", Hiruzen asked.

"She... is a bit stranger."

"Strange?", the word caught Hiruzen's attention and he raised his gaze to the Anbu.

"If I had to say which of the two is more dangerous, then it would be the girl. She wasn't as attentive as the boy, but he could sense that she was more dangerous than the boy. She also possesses a more noble and refined bearing than a normal person. I wouldn't be surprised if she was or still is part of a noble family."

Hiruzen nodded, leaning his back a little further against the back of the chair. A noble girl who had no protection from other people was very rare, especially when they visited shinobi villages, which wasn't that common either. The two visitors were a little suspicious, but neither seemed to be after Naruto or the village's secrets, much less harm or attack anyone.

"I want you to keep an eye on them for a couple more days and report back to me everything you hear or see about them."

"As you wish, Hokage-sama," the Anbu disappeared after obeying.

The third Hokage sighed before rubbing his eyelids and looking back at the windows that looked out onto the village.

"I've had enough trying to figure out how Orochimaru managed to get into the village or his intentions. I don't think it was just for Uchiha Sasuke. Infiltrating just for a genin is a foolish thing to do, and Orochimaru is no fool. No... something else is about to happen... "

. . .

"Someone was watching us," Harry said seriously as he entered the apartment, catching Rias's attention, who frowned slightly.

"Really?... I couldn't feel anything."

"I'm kind of used to being watched, whether it be by my uncles or anyone else. I'm kind of used to the feeling and I felt watched when we talked to Naruto," Harry said seriously as he looked Rias straight in the eyes.

"And while I could be wrong, being cautious isn't bad."

Rias nodded seriously, "You're right. Let's not talk about anything related to the group or traveling, even things about our worlds. It would be best to stay relatively normal people like they are here and just wait a little longer."

"I think I'll use that time to read the books you sent me. I really wish they could give me information about the future of my world, at least Hogwarts and the magical community of Great Britain."

Rias let out a sigh.

"It's good that you have something to do, I don't have much I can do. Training would make them discover my power of destruction and we don't want that, at least not before the real mission begins."

Harry just smiled before walking towards the dining room, they had been talking in the small hallway at the entrance of the apartment. In that place there were no windows so they couldn't see them talking about anything, much less to let them read their lips. Besides, even if the one watching them was someone experienced and stealthy, he wouldn't do something like put his ear to the door to listen like a fool.

In short, at that time and place, it was the best opportunity they had to talk about what Harry felt, as well as decide how to act from now on.

. . .

Harry had his eyes closed while he had a wet towel over his damp hair. His lips were curved in a satisfied smile as he extended his arms up and let out a small moan.

"Now I understand why you love this hot spring thing so much."

Rias smiled happily and raised two fingers in the peace sign with her other hand on her hip. Upon discovering that there were hot springs, Rias decided that trying them out might be one of the best things they could do and not draw attention to themselves. Harry had never experienced this kind of bath and, even though he was with other men in the hot springs, the embarrassment quickly faded at how good his body felt.

"I also understand more your reasons for being a Japanophile."

Rias was embarrassed and blushed a little at those words. She didn't really hide the fact that she was in love with Japan and the many things there were in the country. However, she still felt a little embarrassed at the surprise when other people found out.

However, as they were walking out, they heard two voices that caught their attention.

"Leave me alone for a moment, gaki! I have to do my research!"

"No! You have to train me Ero-sennin! You can't look at women in the hot springs!" they clearly noticed that this was Naruto's voice shouting. Harry frowned a little at the blond's teacher who seemed to be a pervert. Rias just blinked and had a neutral expression, but her eyes were a little icy. She had no problem with showing her body... to a certain extent. Any woman would feel bad about being seen naked by an older man they didn't even know.

"... "

"..."

The two looked at each other as they heard a silence. This lasted for a few more seconds before an hour of enraged women ran out with a variety of weapons in their hands. They cursed Jiraiya before they started beating him up.

Harry could only watch in shock as the man was beaten into a bloody mess before recovering as if it was nothing and getting beaten up again.

"How... how does he do that?"

Rias raised her eyebrows, remembering Hyoudou Issei, who also seemed to recover from the Kendo club's blows out of nowhere.

"Some kind of ability that perverts possess?", she asked in a murmur.

The worst of all was that everyone but the two of them thought it was normal. No one questioned how such a thing was possible. They simply beat the pervert one more round to be satisfied and leave the place, leaving a slightly upset Jiraiya and a smiling Naruto.

"Serves you right, Ero-sennin"

"Shut up Gaki! You don't understand anything!", Jiraiya shouted before standing up and letting out a sigh at the ruined opportunity for investigation.

"By the way... who are you guys?... You didn't even help me, you just stood there watching!", he pointed at Harry and Rias.

"Oh... Harry! Rias! It's great to see you again-ttebayo!" Naruto greeted them with a big smile as he placed his hands behind his head.

"You know them, Naruto?"

"Yes... they are friends," Naruto replied as he nodded.

"Are you Naruto's master?" Harry asked with a bit of hesitation, but also a flash of curiosity in his voice, "I would like to ask you a question regarding chakra."

Jiraiya blinked at the sudden question and looked at Harry more closely before nodding slowly, indicating for him to continue.

"How exactly do you recover chakra? There is hardly anyone in our village who can be called a shinobi. And we have only left our village three times, four counting this one."

Harry asked with a bit of excitement. He really wanted to know how exactly that happened. If he had that information, he'd probably be one step closer to finding out more about the magic in his world.

"Look Naruto! You should ask more of those questions!" Jiraiya exclaimed with a smile as he crossed his arms with a slightly superior look. It's not that he wanted to be arrogant, but rather he wanted to seem cooler.

"Most people just know that chakra recovers eventually, even when you use it in jutsus. This is fine for most, who just want to get stronger without too many details."

"But the answer to that question is related to an art called Senjutsu."

Rias raised her eyebrows in surprise, not expecting Senjutsu to exist in this world as well. Senjutsu is a specialized field of Jutsu that allows the user to sense and gather the energy of nature," Jiraiya said more seriously.

"The energy of nature is present everywhere in the world. Sages - so called Senjutsu users - perceive this energy and mix it equally with the spiritual and physical energy of the body, thus reaching the so-called sage mode. However, this is dangerous without proper training and vigilance. You could die or turn into a stone statue."

"Now... since the energy of nature is present everywhere, a small... tiny part of it enters people's bodies. It is not something harmful, but by combining the physical energy you get from your cells, chakra regeneration is possible."

"It is well known that even with the energy of the cells, the latter only have a maximum of growth and regeneration. The small part of nature's energy revitalizes a little of the cells and, therefore, the chakra begins to recover little by little."

"But what about spiritual energy? "Isn't that also part of chakra?" Harry asked a little confused.

Jiraiya nodded, but his face became more serious than before.

"Spiritual energy is a little strange and it is possible for it to mix with physical energy through the body. This spiritual energy is not something you simply obtain with training and experience. If it were, everyone would have an abundance of such energy, creating an imbalance in the body."

"It's the soul..."

Rias raised her eyebrows in surprise, as did Harry. They didn't think that something like the soul really had any importance in this world. But it seems that they had underestimated the knowledge and complexity of this world.

"There really isn't much known about the soul," Jiraiya put on a curious expression as he looked to the side. "But, I know that the soul is a catalyst for spiritual energy. By having a soul, and having that small connection with the energy of nature, spiritual energy is born within a person."

"As someone ages... or rather grows, the soul does as well. Thus, spiritual energy also grows with experience and training. That's why it's really important for a shinobi to not only train hard, but also have a good diet and way of living."

"I see..." Harry nodded, looking at Jiraiya gratefully. "I really thank you for the answer, it was very informative."

"Don't worry! If people paid more attention to chakra, then this knowledge wouldn't be so rare!"

"Alright, Naruto! I'm a bit more excited now, let's train!"

"Yes! Finally! That's enough of such complicated and boring stuff!"

Jiraiya just exhaled loudly at Naruto's lack of interest. He simply jumped onto the roof of the hot springs and ran off with Naruto behind him.

"Good... now we have a more complete answer," Rias commented seriously.

"Yes...", Harry nodded. "And I think I'm understanding more of 'that' about my house."

"I hope you can come to a better understanding, Harry. It would be great to hear the result you come to."

Chapter 7: Konohagakure no sato (5) - Nature

One Week Later

Rias exhaled in exasperation as she looked up at the ceiling of the apartment's dining room. It had been three weeks since they met Jiraiya. They had talked a bit more with the eccentric and perverted shinobi these days. However, their conversations revolved around chakra and its mysteries, especially with Harry taking the lead in their conversations.

Rias simply listened in curiosity, and had thought of a few things to help Koneko, her tower. Sadly, she could only do that, or walk around the village and eat. If it weren't for the shinobi they now truly knew was spying on them, she couldn't do much else. Rias would have loved to train with her power of destruction in the face of so many ideas that had been born from seeing Naruto's training and the jutsus that some shinobi occasionally launched on the streets, either to help or simply training in some fields further away from the streets.

Harry had advanced quite a bit for someone not born in this world. Apparently, Jiraiya had taken a bit of a liking to him for the curiosity he had that others didn't. This led to the sannin teaching him the other two jutsus that made up the two basic ones: Henge and Bunshin. Also, thanks to Harry's Memory-Maker, he was able to learn Katon: Goukakyuu no jutsu, Katon: Gouryuuka no jutsu and Suiton: Mizurappa. Of course, he had also trained alongside Naruto in the Kage Bunshin.

Harry's chakra levels weren't that great to begin with, so he has also trained his body to be able to grow his chakra to adequate levels without feeling tired when using said jutsus. The first time he used Kage Bunshin no jutsu, he ended up tired with a strange looking Naruto.

And now, Harry decided to go out to train some more with Naruto. Rias decided to follow him and ask Jiraiya for something. She was already a little tired of just waiting and staying still. She had an idea to use her power of destruction and train him.

When they arrived at the training ground they always visited, they saw Naruto trying to summon toads. That was another amazing technique that needed a contract with a special kind of animal. When the two travelers saw Gamabunta a few days ago, they gasped and their eyes widened.

"Guys! Good morning!", Naruto stood up and greeted them by waving his hand from further away.

"Oh... Harry... Rias... It's good to see you again", Jiraiya just smiled at them from beside Naruto.

"Um...", Rias nodded. "I wanted to ask you something important"

"Shoot", said Jiraiya.

"Do you think you can use your influence to make us Leaf shinobi? I've seen them train so much that I can't sit still any longer."

Jiraiya raised his eyebrows before frowning.

"Why exactly? If you're asking me this, you should have a reason to start training."

Rias exhaled a bit before speaking, "I have a special bloodline power. And I really didn't want to draw attention or seem suspicious. I know how distrustful shinobi villages can be."

"Bloodline you say?" Jiraiya looked at Rias in surprise. "Could you show me?"

Rias nodded and raised her hand towards a tree. A crimson sphere appeared in front of her right hand and then a pillar of the same color was shot out, completely swallowing the tree and the others behind it.

"Wooaah," Naruto looked surprised, as did Jiraiya, but he didn't say a word.

"That wasn't an elemental bloodline... What is it?"

"Power of destruction," Rias replied. "A power capable of destroying everything it touches."

Jiraiya was now impressed, but instead of accepting Rias' request, he formed hand seals and hit the ground, summoning two small but old toads.

"Jiraiya-chan?" the male toad said a little surprised at being summoned.

"What's wrong, Jiraiya-chan? It's weird that you summon us when you're not fighting," the female toad asked with doubts and a little annoyed.

"Ma, Pa... I have a little surprise right now."

"Rias... can you use that attack again?"

Rias tilted her head in curiosity, but nodded anyway. She raised her hand and fired her Power of Destruction. When the Elder Toads saw and felt Rias' Power of Destruction, their jaws dropped slightly and they could only say two things.

"Shinra Banshou..."

Harry, who had been studying everything he could about chakra, inhaled a little sharply. He was no expert, but from the meaning of those two words alone, he could draw some slight conclusions.

"So... is it really as I thought?", Jiraiya commented seriously. When Rias first fired her Power of Destruction, Jiraiya could sense something surprising from that power. Something that, if he hadn't been paying attention, he wouldn't even be able to notice.

"Young girl! What is your name and how are you able to use that?!", Fukusaku asked excitedly.

"Uh... I'm Rias Gremoy. That was my bloodline... is something wrong?"

"Um... Rias," Harry called out to his friend with a slightly incredulous expression.

"Yes?"

"I can't sense your power of destruction like Jiraiya or the toads. But, just by listening to Shinra Banshou, I can tell that...", Harry looked at the male toad.

"Fukusaku"

"Thank you... as I was saying, I can tell that Fukusaku may have sensed elemental natures of your power of destruction."

"What?!", Rias exclaimed in surprise.

"The young man is right, Rias-chan," Shima nodded, jumping forward. "With the power of your bloodline, we were clearly able to sense 'all things of nature'. And this is not just things like fire, wind, water, earth, and lightning. But also Yin-Yang."

"But... how is that possible?" Rias asked with doubt in her expression and voice. She never heard this kind of thing from her mother or brother. "Also, I have never trained with chakra."

Fukusaku shook his head: "I can sense it, your chakra is especially powerful and a great amount more on top of that."

Jiraiya nodded with his arms crossed: "Pa is right, Rias. I already told you about the connection between energies. However, this does not mean that a person without chakra does not have said energies in their body. All... absolutely all living beings have spiritual and physical energy. Some more than others between the two, but there it is."

"Spiritual energy is usually kept in the skull and physical energy under the abdomen. But, chakra is only called such, when the connection between the two is achieved."

"That is why you are strange Rias. You do not possess that connection, but a large amount of both energies. And, yet, you can use the combination of all things in nature."

"Jiraiya-chan! I would like to take Rias-chan to Myoubokuzan!"

"Eh?... Well... of course, I don't care about that, but you have to ask her."

"What is Myoubokuzan?", Rias asked curiously.

"It's the place where the summoning toads live. A special place rich in nature energy."

"You too, kid," Shima pointed at Harry, who raised both eyebrows. "You're clearly more in tune with nature energy than a normal person. You need to learn how to use that so it doesn't become dangerous."

Naruto just listened from the side with a pout. He wanted to keep training, but he didn't want his friends to leave. The two of them had been something new to him and they never judged him. In fact, they supported him in his dream of becoming hokage. As slight as that support was, it was there and he had never received it, even from his genin friends.

"Then... we'll be leaving now."

. . .

When the two travelers appeared in Myoubokuzan, they were surprised by the harmony of the place. The plants were huge, even taller than normal trees. There were small toads everywhere, playing and some training.

Harry was the most surprised. He let out a gasp when he felt an energy he had never felt before embrace his body. And, even though it felt warm, it created a small pressure on his body that made it seem a little dangerous. And, for some strange reason, his body attracted this strange energy to him; Harry had to try hard not to let it enter his body.

"It's more than I thought...", Shima commented, looking at Harry who had a frown on his face as he tried hard not to let the energy of nature enter.

"Why... haven't I felt this... before?", he asked worriedly. If the energy of nature was everywhere, why hadn't he felt this attraction before? That was his question.

"The energy of nature that exists in this place is many times denser and more powerful than elsewhere," Fukusaku replied seriously. "If you want a more apt comparison: The energy of nature in this place is like a lake, but with the aggressiveness of a stream's rapids. In other places with a higher population density and human constructions, it would be like a simple stream at a slow speed."

"You're having difficulties because the energy of nature hits your body hard."

Rias looked at her friend a little worried. If he was already having difficulties, she didn't want to know what she would have when creating the connection to form her chakra. Having a power that is born from all things in nature, then it might be more complicated for her to sense the energy of nature in this place.

Harry understood Fukusaku's point, but he began to think about the reason for having an attunement to the greater energy of nature. And he theorized that it could be because of his magic and the 'gene' that made it magical. If his world had a strange energy, then perhaps the 'gene' that made him magical allowed him to absorb this energy that somehow influenced his spiritual energy. By always passively absorbing this energy from his world, it probably made it easier for his body to sense and absorb other similar energies.

When the group arrived at a strange dwelling, they all went inside and the two toads sat in front of the two travelers with serious expressions.

"Never, in all our lives, did we expect to find two such promising young people. From today on, we will train them in the energy of nature and chakra in general. I hope they try hard, because it will be a hard training."

The two nodded with determination. They both knew that this would make them stronger and they could have more freedom in their respective worlds. It was something they both wanted more than anything.

"Now... Ma will help Rias-chan awaken her chakra. In the meantime, I will help Harry-chan with training," Fukusaku jumped up and looked at Harry, tacitly asking him to follow him. The young wizard nodded and followed him immediately.

. . .

Fukusaku stood at the edge of a fountain with an amber-colored liquid. In the middle of the fountain, there was a statue of a wise man and a waterfall behind the statue, which let the liquid fall from above.

"This special oil will help you perceive spiritual energy much better than now. You have to undress and meditate on it. When doing this, you must not lose the concentration of your internal energies, so that you can balance them with the energy of nature."

"Do you have any questions before we begin, Harry-chan?"

"Yes...", Harry nodded. "Before we begin, I would like to understand chakra better. I already know quite a bit of what Jiraiya taught me. But I would like to learn the theory behind nature transformation and shape manipulation."

Fukusaku nodded. "That's good! Having a solid foundation is something few actually do. By having knowledge of the essentials, you can determine what you can or cannot do."

"Sit here," Fukusaku pointed to the side of him and Harry walked over before sitting down.

"Well...", the toad nodded seriously. "The transformation of nature is a rare thing. And I don't mean in quantity, but in how it presents itself in people."

"From the little chat earlier with Jiraiya-chan, I can assume that you know of the connection between the three energies."

Harry nodded.

"Well...when this connection between the three energies is created, it results in the recovery of chakra, but also in the birth of a person's affinity in the five elements of nature," Fukusaku taught and spoke slowly, so that Harry could digest the knowledge as he went.

"Do you know what psyche is, Harry-chan?"

"No...", Harry shook his head.

"The psyche is part of an individual's life force. Bound to their body in life and detached from it upon death," Fukusaku replied, causing Harry to tilt his head in slight surprise.

"So it's a term for the soul?"

"Yes..." Fukusaku nodded. "But the psyche also has two functions: it allows the organism to orient itself in the world, and to assume an active and independent position in the environment, allowing it to survive based on the development that its intelligence allows it."

"But the most important thing when it comes to affinity is the first function. How the first function is achieved is through cognitive reflexes – sensations, perceptions and thought – and active reflexes – emotions and feelings – all of this, finally converges in another connection with the three energies, thus creating a person's affinity with the five elements of nature."

"For example, let's take Naruto-chan as an example. Right now he doesn't know it, but he has an affinity with the wind. Naruto-chan is a fearless child, with the potential to be powerful, but he is also naive and unpredictable. All of this together with the respective connections, produce the birth of his affinity."

"However, never think that everyone will be the same. Someone who is cunning, intelligent, and with a lethal disposition, could also be attuned to the wind element."

"I see...", Harry sighed a little. "I understand now, and I never thought it was so complex."

"You're right," Fukusaku nodded with a small smile, "But nature has never been simple."

Chapter 8: Myobokuzan - Chakra Control

"So what about nature transformation?" Harry asked, wanting more knowledge. And if Hermione were present, she would look at Harry as if he was growing two heads or was some strange monster.

"Nature Transformation is an advanced form of chakra control and is fundamental to chakra manipulation and the creation of new Ninjutsu. Elemental Nature Transformation changes the actual nature of the chakra, thus altering its properties and characteristics."

"In other words, you control your chakra so that it gains the attributes of your affinity and you can use it for offense and defense. Also, keep in mind that a person can use all five elemental types of nature, but it will be much easier for them to use the element they are affinity with."

"What about Yin-Yang? They mentioned that Rias is able to use it."

"That's more advanced. But Yin is the basis of imagination and spiritual energy. Yang is the basis of vitality and physical energy. These two are also the basis of non-elemental jutsus: shadow possession, genjutsu, medical ninjutsu, mind possession among many others."

"Yin and Yang transformation has to do with altering the amount and balance between "The spiritual energy and the physical energy of chakras"

"So that's why it takes such great control for medical ninjutsu or genjutsu? Because you're manipulating the base of the two energies that make up chakra?"

"Right Harry-chan! It's good that you're catching on quickly!"

Harry smiled, really glad that he's read so much about chakra in all his time in this world.

"By the way, shape manipulation is also part of chakra control," Fukusaku mentions as he raises a finger.

"And this is easier to understand, because it's simply changing the shape and movement of chakra, determining the size, scope, and purpose of a jutsu. It's just the ability to manipulate your chakra and shape it."

Harry nodded, but thinking about Rias, he shuddered a little.

"What happened?" Fukusaku asked as he saw Harry shudder.

"Well... imagine how strong Rias would be with shape manipulation alone. The sheer versatility of her power of destruction just from that, is simply terrifying."

"You're right...", Fukusaku nodded. "But it will be harder than you think?"

"Eh? Why?"

"Because her bloodline brings together all things in nature. Manipulating the form of all that together, will be more complicated than you think."

"But...", Harry shifted a bit uncomfortably, remembering that Rias didn't have a single bloodline.

"You can talk, Harry-chan. We're on good terms and we'll keep your secrets safe," Fukusaku spoke with a small smile.

"Well... Rias doesn't have just one bloodline. From what I know, her power of destruction comes from another clan. Her family... the Gremory clan, from what she mentioned, has superior control. This has made other families want to marry into the Gremorys for the control that those children could have along with a bloodline"

Fukusaku raised his eyebrows in surprise: "If what you say is true, then Rias-chan's chakra control could be superior to all. And... now I see why you shudder at the thought of the result of such control with a power like the one she possesses"

"But let's continue with your training. Can you walk through trees?"

"Yes... also in water, but the latter only for about ten minutes"

"Well then... we'll make things a little more complicated than I had originally planned," Fukusaku jumped closer to the fountain and looked up at the waterfall.

"I want you to use your chakra control to climb up the waterfall. Being in indirect contact with the special oil will help you feel the nature energy better, but it will make the control you currently have much more difficult. If you are able to complete this, your energy control will skyrocket as you learn to balance the three energies."

Harry sighed a little at how difficult it had become so suddenly, but he couldn't let this go. Using his chakra, Harry jumped onto the statue's head before jumping into the waterfall and standing sideways on the surface of the water. However, the nature energy hit him hard and he began to fall.

Fukusaku who was watching immediately jumped up and put him back on the statue's head.

"Go on... we have time and I'll be here to catch you so you don't fall into the oil in the fountain."

Harry nodded before trying again.

. . .

Hours had passed since they had arrived at Myoubokuzan, and Rias continued to try to create the connection between the two energies to form chakra. She thought it would be easier due to her control granted by the Gremory bloodline, but she was greatly disappointed. She was used to demonic power; sensing and controlling two energies she had never felt before was more complicated than she thought.

However, when it was already night and she was completely sweaty, her eyebrows rose at the sudden control she gained when the spiritual and physical energy joined together. For some strange reason, being separated cost them to be controlled but, now united, her control increased to a terrifying degree.

At first, Rias had doubts that learning to use chakra would help her better control her power of destruction. But, before she began to awaken her chakra, Shima explained to her that by learning shape manipulation, she would be able to control the power of destruction formed by all things in nature. And indeed, when she opened her eyes and summoned a small sphere of her power of destruction, she was able to change it into a sword-like form before she jumped back as she saw her power explode in all directions, destroying a bit of the dwelling where she had been awakening her chakra.

"It really works... even if it was only for a few seconds, the form of my power of destruction changed," Rias replied in wonder and surprise. While the possessors of the power of destruction could change their form into sizes, most could only change into primary forms. Never... has anyone controlled the power of destruction into precise and more complex forms like a sword. Rias realized that, in that single second, her power of destruction not only changed into a more complex form, it had also hardened!

An excited smile grew on her lips as her body trembled in anticipation for a second. She couldn't wait for the results this training would bring her!

Shima didn't say anything, even if her house was somewhat destroyed. She just looked at Rias in anticipation. No one before had been born with the ability to manipulate all things in nature. In this world, Rias was an anomaly with immense potential for power. Shima really looked forward to seeing the result of Rias' training!

"It seems... you've made progress?" Harry's voice came from the entrance. Rias looked ahead and noticed her friend showing his head as he looked at the ceiling and walls with some holes in them. Fukusaku stood at the door, blinking a little at the destruction.

"Yes!" Rias said excitedly. "I managed to awaken my chakra and now I can not only change my power of destruction into any form I want. I can also harden it!"

Harry raised his eyebrows before whistling impressively, "I can already see you holding a sword while throwing slashes made of the power of destruction."

"You're both very impressive," Fukusaku smiled. "Harry-chan managed to stay in the special oil waterfall for fifty minutes and managed to keep the energy of nature from forcibly entering his body."

"In a short time, he'll be able to let me in and mix it with his two internal energies to achieve sage mode."

"That's good! I think you both deserve an all-you-can-eat dinner!" Shima exclaimed happily as she grabbed a wooden spoon and began to prepare dinner.

"I think... a meal would be perfect, thank you," Rias nodded, as did Harry. What they didn't know, was that dinner was not at all what they imagined. In fact, after an hour of waiting while sitting in the center of the small house and chatting with Fukusaku, dinner arrived and the faces of the two travelers turned pale before changing to a purple color.

"U-um..." Rias gulped, not knowing what to say. Shima smiled happily at being able to feed his two new disciples, not knowing what they were thinking.

Harry, being brave, slowly extended his hand while shaking a little. He took a worm before bringing it close to his face and swallowed hard at the appearance of the bug. Rias could only stare at him before she inhaled sharply, watching as Harry placed the worm in his goose and swallowed it.

*Gokuri!*

The gulp could be heard throughout the small house, making Rias more nervous.

"Hey... it's not bad," Harry smiled, surprising Rias and making her look at the plates of all kinds of insects on the table. She decided to try it. If Harry said it wasn't that bad, then it shouldn't be that horrendous.

However, she didn't notice the small mischievous smile on Harry.

And when she tasted a worm, her face turned green before she had to swallow. Her body trembled from nausea and a shiver ran through her entire body. Finally, she could only smile shakily at Shima.

"I- This... Bu... well... thanks, Shima-san"

"Oh, just call me Ma!", Shima smiled before she began eating alongside Fukusaku.

Harry laughed a little, and tried to hide it with a cough, but Rias easily found out and pinched Harry's left cheek.

"That wasn't funny, Harry," she muttered.

"I'm sorry... I couldn't help it," Harry rubbed his cheek while maintaining a small smile.

"Come on Harry-chan! You can eat as much as you want!" Shima encouraged him and the boy-who-lived could only obey while listening to Rias's small giggle from the side. However, he was happy after all. The group chat had caused him to meet a beautiful girl who quickly became an important friend. He also found fun and purpose in researching the two inner energies and chakra. He never expected to find purpose in researching something like that.

However, while he enjoyed these moments and learned with all the training, the days passed and turned into weeks.

On a certain day, as Harry dodged and tried to hit Fukusaku with Kawazu Kumite, a red pigmentation appeared around his eyes and his irises turned yellow with toad-like pupils. Over the course of these weeks, he had already achieved sage mode. However, Fukuzaku had made him take it one step further, achieving sage mode while still moving!

As you would expect, maintaining a balance between the three energies was difficult and required a lot of concentration. Doing it while moving was even more complicated. But, finally after arduous training, he had achieved it.

Sensing his sage mode active, Harry took a step back while moving slightly to the side, letting the palm strike made by Fukusaku pass by. And in a fluid and swift movement, Harry struck with his palm forward. The strike did not touch Fukusaku's body, but still sent him reeling backwards.

"Well done, Harry-chan! You finally did it!" Fukusaku congratulated him.

Harry nodded before going back to attacking, continuing with the training.

And, a little further away from them, a crimson dragon rose from in front of Rias's position. She was still having a bit of difficulty, but she used hand gestures to control her forms created with the power of destruction. The dragon was elongated with two horns on its head and sharp teeth. Its eyes were dark like the abyss and it moved according to the movement of Rias's hand, impacting the water in front of her, eliminating the water in a radius of hundreds of meters.

"Um! You've definitely grown a lot, Rias-chan!" Shima smiled when Rias turned to her. When Shima saw the obvious distinctions of the sage mode in Rias's eyes, she would have smiled more if possible. Rias had taken a huge step forward, deciding to learn Sage Mode along with Manipulation and Chakra Control for her Power of Destruction.

This decision surprised the rest and they had tried to dissuade Rias because of the burden it would put on her body and the even greater difficulty with two complicated trainings. However, she succeeded almost at the same time as Harry, showing her obvious untapped potential.

Sadly, all the happiness of the group vanished when a shout came from the side.

"Shima-sama! Fukusaku-sam!"

"Kousuke! What's wrong?!" Shima asked the red toad with glasses hanging from his neck.

"Konoha is being invaded! Suna and Oto launched a joint attack!"

Shima gasped and Fukusaku frowned.

Rias looked at Harry seriously. They both knew that this was the important moment. The Climax of the mission they received from the chat group. They definitely had to help! Now not only because of the mission, but also because they had two friends in the village!

"Pa!", Harry exclaimed seriously. "We will go help! Send us back, please!"

"Harry is right," Rias replied more calmly, but she was clearly worried. "We have the possibility to help, we will not sit idly by."

Fukusaku looked at them, back and forth. Finally, after a few minutes, he nodded seriously.

"Fine... we will reverse summon them to Konoha."

Chapter 9: Konohagakure no sato (6) - Invasion

A month and a week since arrival.

When Harry appeared together with Rias in the leaf village, what they saw was something quite horrible for two young people who had never been in a war. And while the level of death and destruction might be much less than a large-scale war, it was still happening in front of them.

Villagers ran in one direction while shouting, hurrying others to get to shelters; meanwhile, some allied shinobi defended them from the sudden attacks of Suna and Oto.

Attacks spat from the mouths of different elemental natures, rock shields, rays that exploded and killed men and women in powerful explosions and left only blood and remains behind.

Harry clenched his teeth tightly and the sound created by friction was audible to Rias. She was more prepared than Harry, but when she saw the green eyes flash with rage and power, she raised her hand and squeezed his shoulder.

"Harry… you need to calm down. Jumping up in anger will only make you more susceptible to the enemy's taunts. Cool your head and then you can help," Rias said seriously. She knew she wasn't the best at giving this kind of advice. But, unlike Harry, she had killed before. Even if they were lost devils, they were still lives she ended with her own hands.

Harry inhaled sharply, closed his eyes, and finally exhaled. His eyes opened and showed more calm, but the coldness in them could be clearly noticed. Then, using the chakra in his body, he jumped towards a rooftop, chasing after an Oto shinobi who was chasing two Konoha allies.

He formed hand seals and exhaled a fireball that took the enemy by surprise, causing them to be caught by the ninjutsu and begin to burn as he screamed. Harry turned a little pale as the smell of burning flesh entered his nose, but he clenched his fists and continued to run forward, leaving behind the two Konoha shinobi, surprised by the sudden help from someone who was not wearing an identification headband.

Rias did not want to show her wings, so she used chakra to jump up onto the rooftops and look around, looking for places where they could need her help the most. She could immediately notice how three huge snakes rose up destroying part of Konoha's infrastructure. They hissed as they moved around annihilating people and destroying more buildings.

Rias looked on coldly before her hands glowed crimson and three snakes created with her power of destruction rose from her, roaring at the enemy snakes. The animated constructs that Rias created were much smaller, this so as not to destroy more or harm the allies. But, the power in each one of them was enough for those summons to be destroyed.

Jiraiya who had arrived just in time, could see how Rias completely destroyed the summons and exhaled in relief.

"Rias!"

"Jiraiya?!", she asked with a bit of surprise.

"I will take care of this sector. I need you to go to the stadium and destroy the barrier that encloses Sarutobi-sensei. With your power of destruction it is possible to help there!"

Rias nodded seriously before starting to run towards the Konoha stadium. As she ran at full speed, she could see Harry using his wand to cast expelliarmus to disarm the enemies and use Katon Ninjutsu to eliminate others.

. . .

Harry felt like vomiting, his hands shaking slightly as he continued to help allies disarm enemies and allow the Konoha Shinobi and Kunoichi to land fatal blows. But, at the same time, he was also fighting with approaching enemies. Each death brought by his hands made him feel worse.

Inside his conscience, he knew that what he was doing was not entirely wrong. He was defending himself, helping the village and killing people who simply seemed to kill their targets for fun. But, a part of him also felt disgusted by doing such a thing.

"Now I really understand people who fear Voldemort so much...", he thought as he threw himself to the side, rolling on the ground, dodging five lightning balls aimed at him.

"If Voldemort is capable of enjoying this kind of thing... I truly understand his fears now. That bastard enjoys torturing and killing... causing suffering to other people without the slightest hesitation," Harry put his hands on the ground and, without any hand seals, lifted a piece of ground that made two Suna shinobi destabilize. Then, in a fluid movement of his wand, he killed them using diffindo, slicing their necks.

"However... sometimes this is necessary," Harry said in his mind. "If people like Voldemort or his followers... even those in front of me right now, are left free without the slightest punishment, then the world would be a dark hole filled with suffering."

Harry now had a more determined look and formed hand seals.

"Kuchiyose no Jutsu!"

*Boom!*

A huge cloud of smoke manifested along with a large rumbling sound. When the cloud vanished, the enemies could see a huge toad. The summoning toad was a light blue-green on its body and a dark blue-green on its back. It didn't have clothes, but rather a sort of flexible strap and also had large sabers behind its back.

"Gamahiro... let's work together."

"Of course, Harry," Gamahiro jumped with Harry on his head before spitting out a huge jet of water that swept away the enemies on the street in front of the toad-man team. When he landed, Harry began to use his chakra to the fullest, launching Suiton Ninjutsu one after another, knocking down the enemies while Gamahiro cut them with his katana.

The allies watched this in surprise before smiling and nodding, charging forward with renewed strength, ending the lives of more enemy shinobi. Jiraiya who was watching from afar, let out a small whistle at the impressive block that Harry had created. He was also amazed at the enormous progress Harry had made in his chakra and Ninjutsu levels in just three weeks.

. . .

When Rias arrived at the roof where the Third Hokage was fighting a fight with two really powerful men, she caught the attention of the Anbu who were watching angrily for not being able to help.

"Who are you?!", one of them asked forcefully.

"Calm down...", Rias raised her hands. "I'm an ally... Jiraiya asked me to come to destroy the barrier."

When Rias finished speaking, she didn't wait for any response or comment. Her power of destruction erupted from her body, making the tiles on the roof shake while other loose ones rose. She stretched out her hands and a rectangle that surrounded the barrier manifested before it exploded, completely eliminating the barrier.

"What the hell?!!", a red-haired girl who maintained the barrier, shouted angrily and surprised to see how the barrier was eliminated.

"Charge now!" the Anbu captain immediately shouted, appearing in front of the red-haired girl, slashing with his sword.

Hiruzen jumped back, dodging a jet of high-pressure water as he looked at Rias and gave her a nod.

"Hiruzen, that girl is powerful. It seems like you will manage to survive another day," the staff Hiruzen was holding manifested an eye before he spoke seriously.

"It seems so, Enma."

However, the short talk caused Hashirama to appear in front of Hiruzen, extending his fist to strike the Third Hokage. But at the same time, the power of Rias' destruction erupted from the ground, as she stomped her foot. Crimson energy spread towards Hashirama, creating spikes from the ground and piercing through the First Hokage's Edo Tensei body.

"I will help you from afar, Lord Hokage," Rias slowly walked over, standing to the side of the Third Hokage, looking towards the two previous Hokages and Orochimaru, in the back.

"Who are you?", Orochimaru asked, hissing in anger that his plans were not going as expected.

"My name is Rias Gremory. Disciple of the two toad sages of Myobokuzan."

Orochimaru narrowed his eyes in annoyance before raising his head and pulling out the Kusanagi sword from his mouth.

"I see... Kukuku... Then it will be more satisfying to kill you, child."

"We'll see...", Rias narrowed her eyes before moving to the side, dodging water needles that Tobirama had shot from his mouth. She immediately charged towards Tobirama to begin the battle.

Hiruzen just waited alertly from behind, as did Orochimaru. However, what they expected never came. Hashirama completely disappeared after he was attacked and scattered into what looked like pieces of paper.

"What... what did that girl do?" Hiruzen muttered in surprise.

"Old friend, that girl is able to use all things in nature. Her power unites all five elements along with Yin-Yang to create such attacks. She is able to even separate the consciousness and soul of living creatures. Most likely, she cut the soul connection of the First Hokage to separate him from the Edo Tensei."

Upon hearing Enma, Hiruzen was surprised and smiled slightly at Orochimaru, who apparently also heard what Enma said. The Sannin had a furious expression as he looked at his former sensei.

"There's no point in staying here…", Orochimaru muttered, realizing that his plan to kill Sarutobi Hiruzen had failed. He jumped back, dropping from the roof and disappearing from everyone's sight.

The Third Hokage let out a sigh of relief, especially as he watched Rias finish off Tobirama, forming a sword and slicing Edo Tensei's body diagonally in two.

"You're a scary girl... all my attacks were eliminated by you...", Tobirama commented before disappearing completely.

"It's a compliment I'll take with pride, especially coming from a leader like you," Rias muttered softly, making her sword of power of destruction disappear.

. . .

Harry ran at full speed towards the huge monster that had appeared out of nowhere. It looked like a raccoon formed out of sand. However, as he was getting there, he noticed a huge cloud of white smoke appear before revealing Gamabunta with Naruto on his head. Harry climbed to the top of a tree and watched as Naruto fought in a team with the tough toad.

When Gamabunta transformed into a huge nine-tailed fox, Harry whistled in amazement.

"That's a good way to use Henge. Naruto has really gotten stronger since I last saw him."

When the battle ended and he saw his friend crawling away, he descended towards him and listened to him. Harry sighed as he heard Naruto's deepest feelings before a blonde girl appeared.

"You better take him... Naruto just gave him a chance that no one else would give him."

Temari just nodded before carefully picking up Gaara.

Harry looked at Naruto who was shaking slightly from all the effort he had put in.

"Hey... old man... looks like you kicked his ass thoroughly."

"Harry..." Naruto opened one eye and grinned like a fox. "Yeah... I kicked his ass thoroughly."

"Ha... Hahaha..." the young wizard laughed before picking Naruto up and carrying him on his shoulder. "I'll take you to a safer place.

"Thank you-ttebayo... I'm completely exhausted."

Harry began walking out of the forest with Naruto hanging on one of his shoulders.

"By the way... Have you gotten bigger?"

"Training works wonders, Naruto."

Chapter 10: Konohagakure no sato (7) - Final

"So..." Rias spoke slowly, looking at Harry seriously. She stood with her fingers interlaced and her chin resting on her hands together. Her elbows were on the table and her expression was extremely serious. Harry was in the same position as her, with the same serious expression.

In all the time they had spent in this world, they only knew two people more closely and deeply: Naruto and Jaraiya. Then there were the two toad sages, Fukusaku and Shima, or also called Ma and Pa. And while one of the latter two wasn't a bad idea to invite to the chat group, they were more inclined towards the other two, Naruto and Jiraiya. Of course, they could only invite one of them, so they were talking seriously about who to invite.

"Naruto has grown a lot in the time we've known him. And while he's more naive in some things, even more so than myself, Jiraiya might get a little annoying with his personality, especially if more women join the group in the future."

"Mmm..." Rias nodded as she muttered a little. Harry was right in this case. While Jiraiya was stronger and had a tougher mindset than Naruto, his eccentric personality and perverted side might get a little annoying in the future. However, they had also thought about the possibility that other people from different worlds might get the same message as them, entering the chat group through that means. They weren't sure, but they might have to deal with people even more annoying than Jiraiya.

And as for Naruto, he was younger than them, but he would add a more friendly and fun dynamic to the group. Rias and Harry didn't want the chat group to become just about gaining power and freedom, but also a space for people to form a future great group, where they can have a relaxing time of their lives and experience some fun.

Naruto would be perfect in this case, especially with how strong he could become, especially with the rewards the chat group could give in missions, or purchases in his shop.

Unfortunately, their thoughts and ideas while chatting were interrupted when there was a knock on the door.

"I'll go see who it is," Rias stood up and walked to the door. When she opened it, she noticed an Anbu waiting.

"Do you need something, Anbu-san?" Rias asked with a bit of curiosity.

"Hokage-sama wanted to talk to you, he's waiting for you in his office," the Anbu said before disappearing with a shunshin.

"Well... this may not be so surprising," Rias muttered and went to find Harry.

. . .

When the two travelers arrived at the Hokage's office, they noticed Jiraiya standing with a small smile at the side of Hiruzen's desk.

"Good afternoon, young ones," Hiruzen greeted politely.

"Good afternoon, Hokage-sama," the two bowed slightly and greeted. But Rias continued with the question, "What did you want to talk to us about, Hokage-sama?"

"Yes... it's been two days since the invasion. I had to have several meetings; so I couldn't talk to you guys before. But I wanted to thank you for defending Konoha, especially when you're not Leaf shinobi and were simply visitors."

"People were suffering at the time, helping was the least we could do, Hokage-sama," Harry replied seriously with a hard look.

Hiruzen smiled slightly, "But, still, they deserve respect and thanks for such help."

"Jiraiya told me that they wanted to be shinobi of the Leaf... Is that true?"

Rias and Harry looked at each other before sighing.

"Honestly, Hokage-sama. I made that request so that I could train with my bloodline. At that time, I didn't want to seem suspicious and be taken as an enemy if I trained and destroyed the training grounds. Now, however, we need to return to our home."

"I see...", Hiruzen let out a sigh.

"But...", Harry interrupted. "If you need it, you can contact us through Naruto. We became friends, and we will leave the way to contact us at your disposal. If the village or any of you need our help in the future, you can ask without hesitation."

"Harry is right. Even though we only made friends with Naruto and Jiraiya, we will still help you."

"That is absolutely heartwarming. Both of you showed great skills in the battle two days ago," Hiruzen nodded, still smiling. "However, I would still like to reward you. Do you have any requests that this old man can fulfill?"

Hiruzen really wanted to reward them, not just for the fact that they helped the village and saved many lives. He knew that he would have died in that battle against Orochimaru. His experience and instincts had told him that, and he had prepared for his death. But, Rias had saved him from such a fate.

Thanking and rewarding them was fitting. No, it was the right thing to do.

"Well...", Harry spoke first. "If possible, it would really help if I could receive some scroll with Suiton Jutsu."

"I don't really need anything. But, if it were possible, I would like a Leaf Headband. This place was where I made two friends and fought as an ally, I would like that as a souvenir," Rias smiled slightly.

Hiruzen raised his eyebrows, especially at Rias' request. But he was glad that she valued something like the Leaf Headband. That was one of the village's hallmarks, an item that could very well be of great value to every loyal shinobi.

"It can be done, without a doubt such a thing can be done!" Hiruzen replied cheerfully.

The two teenagers smiled satisfied at receiving what they asked for.

"It's a shame that you won't be joining the village, but it was gratifying to meet two young people with such potential," Jiraiya smiled even more strongly as he crossed his arms.

"Even with all the perverted stuff, it was fun meeting you too, Jiraiya," Harry smiled and this gesture only grew more when he saw the Sannin's grumpy expression.

. . .

Naruto smiled a little sadly at Rias and Harry, who were in his hospital room. The blond was still resting from his battle and hadn't been let out.

"Hey... that headband looks great on you," Naruto said softly as he looked at the Konoha headband on Harry's left arm. The young Potter smiled and looked at his headband before smiling.

"Yeah... it's perfect."

"Do you really have to go?" Naruto asked, letting out a sigh as he scratched the back of his head a little. Rias smiled a little sadly at him, she knew how lonely Naruto could be. Even with friends, every time he came to his apartment, he found it empty and no one to talk to or tell his problems to.

It had been a secret between the three of them, but Naruto cried when he saw Rias and Harry after a tiring day of training. He was surprised when he saw his apartment completely clean and tidy. But when he saw the two in the kitchen welcoming him, Naruto cried without realizing it until Rias called his attention.

"Naruto-kun... take this," she walked over and handed him a phone. Naruto tilted his head in bewilderment before taking the phone.

"Keep one of your fingers on the little circle on the back," Rias told him and Naruto complied. When his index finger rested on the fingerprint reader, information smoothly downloaded into his head. From that moment on, he knew what he could do with the device and why Rias had given it to him.

"You guys..." Naruto gasped a little and looked at them as he whispered. "Aren't you... from this world?"

Rias smiled and sat at the foot of Naruto's bed, looking into his eyes.

"I come from a dangerous world where gods exist, as well as different races. Harry comes from a world where magic exists and he attends a castle where he learns about it."

"Magic?! Really?" Naruto asked with stars in his eyes.

Harry laughed in amusement before showing his wand and transforming the glass of water that was on the table next to the bed. Naruto watched in amazement as the glass changed into a bird.

"How amazing-ttebayo!"

"Naruto...", Rias called out with a little more seriousness. The blond looked at her curiously.

"Even if you can buy things in the future - inside the chat shop - you have to keep training so you can accompany us on many adventures."

"Yes, I will become stronger-dattebayo! I will show you how strong I will become when I see you again."

"Then this will be a see you soon...", Harry smiled before nodding at Naruto. Just as Harry said those words, his and Rias's phones pinged with a notification before they began to glow.

"Well... it seems we're heading back."

Rias looked down at her hands and nodded at Harry, "I'm glad I met you. But like I said, it'll be a see you soon. We'll meet again."

"Yeah... it was fun," Harry sighed before disappearing with Rias, leaving Naruto alone.

"See you later..." he clenched his fist before looking at him with determination. "I'll get stronger so I can accompany you, Rias nee-chan, Harry nii-chan."

. . .

Rias blinked as she saw she was in the same occult club room as when the trip began. She was alone at the moment, but she didn't move at any point.

Rias raised her head towards the ceiling before closing her eyes and sighing.

"It was only a month but... it almost seemed like a lifetime," Rias smiled sadly.

"I'll miss the guys," she muttered before walking towards the exit, closing the door and leaving the room empty. The candles went out completely and left a quiet room, but with a lonely atmosphere.

. . .

Harry looked at the floor while moving his hand through his messy hair. The Chamber of Secrets seemed to dampen his mood even more, so he began to walk towards the exit.

"Back to your annoying life, Harry Potter," he muttered while making a slightly sad face. When the door to the Chamber of Secrets closed, it revealed for a few seconds the lonely back of Harry as he continued walking towards the darkness of the hallway outside the chamber.

Chapter 11: Return to Hogwarts

Harry yawned loudly, causing his eyes to close slightly and a few tears to appear in the corners of his eyes. He was currently sitting in potion class. It had been three days since he heard about the system update. And, to his bad luck, the chat was disabled. There was a window that had a clock ticking down to two years, leaving only the option to enter the app store.

The first day he was a little angry and sad, but having his phone with him, he knew that he would eventually be able to talk to his new friends again. He just had to be patient. Besides, he had a lot of things to do in his world, especially reading the books that chronicled his life that Rias handed him.

Harry was making the potion so lazily that Snape was about to yell at him. Was was the operative word, as the classroom door resonated with three knocks before it opened.

"What is it?!" Snape shouted angrily.

"Um... Sir... Professor Snape... Harry Potter's assistance is needed," a frightened Colin Creevey spoke, shaking a little at the anger of the Potions teacher.

Snape stopped his vigil towards the students and narrowed his eyes: "We are in class, in case you haven't noticed."

"Um... but, Professor, the wand weighing will take place, sir. It is necessary for Harry to attend."

Snape remained in the same position while staring at Colin without looking away, until he opened his mouth a few minutes later.

"Potter! Get out at once, I don't want any more interruptions in my class!"

Harry rolled his eyes before getting up and leaving while taking his things in his bag before closing the door. He didn't pay attention to Colin's words as he walked, he didn't even look at him. He simply wanted to finish this wand weighing and go somewhere else; He had a lot on his mind: plans, ideas, and other less important things, but better than the Triwizard Tournament or Snape.

When he arrived at the venue, he not only saw the Headmasters of the other schools and the other champions, there was also Ludo Bagman, Rita Skitter, and Bartemius Crouch Snr. Professor Dumbledore was walking behind him just as he arrived at the venue. Also, Mr. Ollivander was waiting with his hands in front of him, ready to examine the wands of each competitor.

"Mr. Potter! I would like to ask you a few questions!" Rita wasted no time and approached Harry, as if he were a scavenger animal waiting for some meat from somewhere. Unfortunately for her, Harry simply gave her a glance out of the corner of his left eye before completely ignoring her.

Harry simply waited ignoring most of them, with only his attention on Dumbledore and Ollivander. The former because he was curious to know if Dumbledore was someone he could not trust and distance himself from. And Ollivander just out of curiosity. But after a few minutes, he just closed his eyes as he started thinking of some things to do while he was at Hogwarts and the tournament was taking place.

The first, or rather one of the most important things he wanted to do, was to read everything he could from the castle library. If it was called one of the largest, then it had to contain a lot of things. The second thing was related to the first, but more on the spell side, magic that he could use in combat. There was also the thing in the room of requirements, that damned diadem with a piece of Voldemort's soul in it that he had to remove these days.

"Harry!"

Opening his eyes, Harry looked at Dumbledore, who had a small frown on his face. Everyone else was looking at him and he looked at Ollivander, who seemed to be waiting for him.

"Ah... then it's my turn, of course," he nodded before moving in front of Ollivander and carefully pulling his wand out from the small bag tied to the side of his waist and hidden by his wizard robes.

"Mm... Yes...", Ollivander nodded as he looked at the wand. "Twelve inches; made of holly with a phoenix feather."

Harry just stared at the old man's face, noticing that his eyes seemed to shine a little brighter than a normal, even magical, person's.

"It's been used to defend many lives... strange...", Ollivander whispered before moving the wand horizontally, creating a rainbow of beautiful lights.

"Mm... perfect condition, well done for keeping your wand so well, Mr. Potter," Ollivander smiled mysteriously before handing the wand back to Harry. The latter took it before starting to walk towards the exit.

"Wait, Harry! The pictures are next!" Ludo exclaimed, trying to stop Harry, but he simply shook his hand off as he walked.

"I have no interest in such things. Let the three champions do it."

Dumbledore frowned slightly as he looked at Harry Potter's back. The young wizard seemed discouraged in his opinion. No, perhaps the best way to describe him at the moment was that of a person with no desire to do all this, someone bored with his daily life.

When everything was over and Harry entered the common room, the first thing he saw was Hermione, who approached him seriously.

"Harry, Professor Snape says that your detention will be with him later."

"Detention? What detention?" Harry asked tilting his head slightly.

"Yes... about that..." Hermione grimaced slightly as she hugged a book. "Professor Snape assigned you a detention for disrupting class."

Harry's eyes closed before he sighed and walked out of the common room.

"Wait, where are you going, Harry?"

"I don't have time for that man's nonsense. I'll do something more worthwhile than just accepting Severus Snape's bad mood." Harry retreated from the tower as he ignored Hermione's yelling. Honestly, he didn't feel like playing along with the people in this place, not anymore. From now on, he would do things as he wanted. And while the teachers deserved a certain amount of respect and he wouldn't skip classes, that didn't mean he had to accept everything they said or ordered, even more so when such things came from Severus Snape.

Oh, he knew about the man's love for his mother, and the so-called sacrifices he made. But, in his opinion, they were all bullshit. Love? More like an obsession with Lily Evans, his mother. So, as he moved through the castle, ignoring glances and whispers behind him, he reached the seventh floor, walking down the same hallway three times, causing a door to appear and he entered.

When he saw what was inside, he smiled slightly. This was the first time he had used the room of requirement since he read about it in books. He had asked for a simple room with a bed to rest in. He threw himself onto the bed and made himself comfortable before pulling out his phone and opening the chat app.

The clock that was ticking down on his time was still there, but he wanted to claim his rewards from the mission in Konoha. Two days ago he had simply glanced at them and that was it, literally it was one look. Now, he wanted to claim his rewards and see what he could buy at the shop that would be useful.

When he moved to the tasks part, there was the mission in Konoha with a big 'complete' and he just had to press to get what he was waiting for.

[You get three rewards]

[5,000 CP]

[Psychometry]

[Animagus Form: Crow]

"Leaving aside the second reward, the other two are really useful right now," Harry muttered, pressing to claim the rewards. And, when he did, his body glowed slightly before he closed his eyes and turned into a crow. And, after he looked at his body and flew around the room for a few minutes, he returned to his human form.

But, what caught his attention the most, was the ability called psychometry. This ability allowed him to see events as if they were there, including the sights, sounds, and feelings, both emotional and physical, that the wearer of the object experienced. He knew this could be a good thing, and a bad thing. Good because he could learn many things more easily, but bad because if he wasn't careful, he could see something extremely bad and end up harmed.

"Well... at least I can make faster progress in terms of knowledge," Harry said to himself, closing his eyes as he prepared to get some sleep before leaving the room of requirements and returning to class.

Aeternum: Chat Group Chapter 12: First Task New
Chapter 12: First Task

Hermione stared ahead, ignoring a few glances at her. She knew her face shouldn't look the friendliest right now. She was angry, her teeth clenched as each step she took seemed heavy. The fingers of her hands moved slightly before clenching into a fist, then relaxing and clenching again.

There was only one day left... no, in fact there were only hours left until the first task of the tournament. Hermione felt nervous and scared because she now knew what Harry would have to face. But at the same time, angry that Ronald Weasley had the audacity to hide it from her and Harry. Ron's brother Charlie worked at the reserve that brought in the dragons, and he had told his younger brother about this, so that he could warn Harry about what he would have to face.

However, the younger Weasley didn't say anything; he simply stayed quiet and then simply forgot about it until just a few minutes ago.

Hermione knew that, at the moment, her relationship with Harry was not the best. But she didn't care about that, she wanted Harry to be safe tomorrow and for nothing serious to happen to him. That's why she was looking for him, but she couldn't find him and, the more she searched, the angrier and more nervous she became.

She was also worried about the obvious change in Harry. She could see that he barely smiled in front of others. And, as impressive as it was to others, he spent a lot of time in the library, reading and writing things in a notebook. Many noticed this, and simply ignored him or pointed at him, but Harry ignored them as if they didn't exist.

She felt sad for Harry's apathy, at the same time that she had doubted him.

A troll, Voldemort, the Philosopher's Stone, the Chamber of Secrets, a basilisk, dementors, Sirius Black, Professor Lupin and his werewolf transformation, the Quidditch World Cup and the attack on it; Hermione had been through a lot since she entered the wizarding world, and all of it had been around Harry. Perhaps, she was scared, especially when she was petrified. Right now, perhaps she didn't feel all that well, she didn't fully understand herself and wanted peace.

But, when she went over all of this, she not only managed to understand that she was scared and longed for some peace, but that her friend, Harry Potter, also longed for these things. She only managed to feel worse for doubting her friend and avoiding him.

After what seemed like hours of searching back and forth, she saw Harry about to go down one of the moving stairs.

"Harry!" she exclaimed as she approached him faster. Hermione smiled a little when she saw him turn to her and raise his eyebrows in a little surprise.

"Do you need something, Hermione?" Harry asked with a little curiosity.

"Can we talk somewhere else, please?"

Now Harry was really curious, from the moment his name came out of the Goblet of Fire, Hermione doubted him, even ignored him at times, and at others she kept further away. Now she wanted to talk to him in privacy?... a little strange for him, but perhaps not so much when he remembered what was in those digital books that Rias gave him.

"Well...", he nodded before following her slowly, not saying much to Hermione's questions. Things like: Have you eaten? Did you study? Where have you been? What have you done? And, meanwhile, she bit her lips a little at the sharp answers that Harry answered with. Finally, when they reached a quieter place and without anyone interrupting him, Hermione stopped in front of him before inhaling and exhaling loudly.

"Harry... the first task is dragons... Well, one dragon for each champion"

"I know, Hermione"

"Yes! You have to be careful! You can't- Huh?", Hermione had started to scream, until she managed to process Harry's answer. Her eyes widened and her mouth hung slightly agape.

"You... What... How did you know?", she managed to ask in shock.

"Hagrid told me. He took me out for the night recently, he showed me the dragons that would be used for the first task," Harry replied with a small smile. He was a little glad that Hermione decided to tell him this, it meant that she was still the same Hermione.

"I... I see...", Hermione sighed in relief before looking at Harry with an apologetic look: "Harry... I... I'm sorry"

"Why?"

"For everything! I haven't been a very good friend, Harry!"

Harry sighed this time, shaking his head: "Easy, Hermione. I can understand you a little. You wanted some peace, right?"

"How do you know that?" she asked in surprise, but Harry smiled kindly at her, stopping any further questions she might ask.

"Because I wanted it too. My life has been full of problems, ever since I was born. I can completely understand that desire for peace and quiet."

Hermione was silent for a few moments, processing the answer, especially the first part.

"You wanted it, Harry? You don't want it anymore?"

Harry shook his head, "It's not that I don't want to, but I accepted the fact that I'm not a normal person. My life will have more complicated problems than a normal person. And I also realized that I don't need anyone."

"My problems, my battles, my future... those things are something that only I can solve on my own. The teachers, the headmaster, the people who whisper behind my back, right now, they're of no use to me. Well, maybe the teachers are, but only for classes, the rest are completely useless to me."

"But... But... Harry... Am I sure they want to help? The headmaster always has!" Hermione took two steps back and said, surprised and doubtful of her own words.

Harry let out a laugh, one that was cold and emotionless. Hermione was surprised by that and could only watch as Harry pulled a book out of his bag. He held it out in front of him and Hermione could see its title.

The Triwizard Tournament: Rules and Important Topics.

"This book was almost inside the restricted section of the library. It says a lot about the Triwizard Tournament, including a part where someone can leave in case of trouble. And while Professor Dumbledore may have forgotten this, I don't think all the judges and part of the Ministry have."

"Someone did something to the Goblet to make it release my name. And, since this is not considered legal or fair in the rules, something could have been done perfectly. However, no one helped me."

"Hermione...", Harry put the book away and looked at her seriously and coldly: "I don't have the time, or the need to trust people who could betray me."

Harry extended his hands and showed them to Hermione.

"My path... my life... I will control with these hands. The hands of Dumbledore, the teachers, or anyone from the Ministry... I will not accept any of them putting their hands in those things. And if they do..."

"Well... I will just cut them off."

Hermione stepped back surprised and a little scared by Harry's voice and his words. And, seeing her reaction, Harry sighed.

"Relax. I won't hurt someone who hasn't done something to me," Harry said quietly, just enough for Hermione to hear.

"But... this is who I am right now. I only trust two people... and neither of them are actually part of this magical world, Hermione."

"B- But... Harry... I...", Hermione tried to say something, but nothing came out of her mouth. She knew that trust was something really hard to gain sometimes, but so easy to lose. Her words stopped because she knew that Harry couldn't trust her with what she had shown. Someone who wouldn't support their friend when he was in trouble, would easily turn their back on him when he needed help with some important things. Therefore, Harry didn't consider Hermione as someone to trust.

She could only watch as Harry turned around and gave her one last sideways glance before walking somewhere else. She couldn't stop him, she couldn't, not with their current friendship almost broken.

Harry could understand her, but it didn't mean that would make them regain their friendship so easily, not so quickly.

. . .

Students and teachers were sitting in the stands of the small makeshift stadium. Meanwhile, Harry was staring at the dragon several meters in front of him. Honestly, he didn't want to face the most violent and dangerous dragon of all, the Hungarian Horntail. Therefore, he simply snuck in taking the spot to choose another champion and picked up a small dragon figurine.

The dragon in front of him was a common Welsh green. The dragon was slowly moving the tip of its tail while wrapping the rest around its eggs. Its wings were slightly spread and its green scales were glowing a little.

Honestly, Harry didn't know how to get past any dragon without showing off his skills gained in Konohagakure or Memory-Maker. Both would be obvious to others, or they could see it as very advanced magic; anyway, there would be questions if he used any of his skills gained through the group chat app.

So, for the first try, he slowly approached the dragon, keeping his gaze on the beast's large orbs. He completely ignored the gasps as the dragon narrowed its eyes and shot out a thin tongue of flame, as if telling him not to come any closer. But, Harry, who licked his lips a little, came even closer, close enough for the dragon to hear him clearly.

Then, he spoke...

"(Can you give me the golden egg?... It's not one of yours)", his first option was to speak parseltongue. While the odds of such a thing working were very high, he had nothing to lose by trying. And as expected, the dragon simply growled before spitting fire from its mouth. Harry used a bit of his chakra to propel himself a bit further than normal before landing and rolling on the ground, narrowly dodging the fire.

The next thing Harry tried, was to use Accio on the egg, pointing his wand at it. But that didn't work either, so he simply moved away a bit and walked slowly around the dragon that had now stood up and growled at him as he took a step forward.

He could have used the same method as in the books, but he wouldn't risk something so dangerous. In the book, the character named Harry Potter had been lucky, very lucky. He could very well have died from the Hungarian Horntail.

In fact, now that he had his full attention on a better future and not risking his life foolishly, he wouldn't play Quidditch. He really liked the sport, but his current vision still gave him problems in some things. And, in fact, since he returned from the shinobi world, for the first time he questioned why he played with such bad vision like his.

Harry narrowed his eyes when the dragon roared angrily and spat out a huge column of fire. Harry gritted his teeth as he lost concentration, so he had to improvise; leaning forward and placing one knee on the ground. Then, he used his chakra to cast a doton jutsu that raised a wall of earth from the ground. But this, all while his right hand moved from the ground up, using his wand as a disguise for the technique, making it seem to everyone that it was silent magic.

The powerful fire hit the wall and began to melt the rock. And at the same time, the flames moved sideways, passing in both directions of Harry. As the flames continued to hit, Harry began to think about how to get the egg. The distance between him and the golden egg was no more than a hundred meters, so it was not that great a distance.

"Wait... I'm such a fucking idiot," Harry growled as he looked back and noticed that that part had no steps or people watching. It was just a large wall where the dragon had come out. So, he created a shadow clone and ordered it to use Doton: Doshuu Eigyo no jutsu.

It is a jutsu where the user can pass through the ground as if it were water. It is a very effective technique because the person can enter and exit the ground without leaving any trace. As he did so, the clone traveled across the ground and grabbed the egg before returning.

When the dragon stopped its fire, the earth wall crumbled into pieces and melted, revealing Harry completely safe and with the egg in one of his arms, hugging his chest. Then, as if he was making a maximum effort, he ran towards the exit while throwing confringo towards the dragon's eyes.

"Groooaaahh!" the dragon roared in pain as the curse hit its bare eye and exploded into crimson liquid. Everyone gasped in surprise as Harry ran out safely with the egg in his hands before shouting in excitement as the dragon was injured.

As he exited the arena, he looked up at the judges waiting for his score for this task.

Karkaroff gave him one point for not being able to see what he had done, Madame Maxime gave him two points for having raised such a strong earth wall and achieved the goal without injuries. Dumbledore gave him three, without much explanation. Ludo Bagman gave him three points, and Harry knew it was because he had bet on him and wanted him to win. Finally, Bartemius Crouch Snr; who gave Harry two points.

Harry moved towards the infirmary tent as he saw that he had eleven points in total.

Aeternum: Chat Group Chapter 13: Rooftop Talk New
Chapter 13: Talk on the Roof

Harry was standing on a part of the huge roof of Hogwarts castle. He wasn't wearing his typical wizard robes, but one of his many outfits that he bought in Konoha. Black trousers that reached to his ankles, but now he wore boots that reached a little above said ankles. A long-sleeved black shirt and a jacket that kept him warm and reached a little below his waist.

Today was the day of the Yule Ball, but he didn't plan on attending. Why would he have to? There was no point in attending such a gala when he didn't want to and it wasn't appropriate for him to attend. He didn't consider himself a champion, a competitor, but not a champion like the other three. And, the only reason he was going through with all this without trying to get out of the tournament, is because it would bring him closer to Voldemort much easier.

He had gotten rid of the Ravenclaw diadem a few days ago, it was quite easy when he used Avada Kedavra with his Memory-Maker. The good thing about using the Killing Curse with Memory-Maker, was that he didn't need to focus on hatred or any negative feelings to cast it. Since the curse was among his memories, he could easily cast it as long as he focused on that specific memory. So, by doing this, he wasn't affected when using dark magic.

"I didn't think you'd be in a place like this, Harry."

Frowning at the sound of the voice, Harry slowly turned around, looking at Dumbledore who was smiling at him friendly. He didn't know how the headmaster found out he was here. Oh, he knew about the portraits that informed Dumbledore of many things, but he had been careful not to be seen leaving the castle and going up to the roof.

"How did you know I was here, Headmaster Dumbledore?" he decided to ask, hoping the old wizard would answer honestly. Harry was still unsure of Albus Dumbledore's intentions. Was he really someone good? Why he knew the old man had the best intentions for the students, but did he?... He wasn't clear.

Dumbledore's smile grew a little wider, "When you're a headmaster, Harry, you get some very interesting privileges."

Harry tilted his head slightly to the side, looking directly into Dumbledore's bright eyes. It was a little comforting to know and feel that the headmaster of Hogwarts didn't try to probe his mind with passive legilemancy.

"The castle itself?... I can't imagine the portraits could tell you my current location. Even if it may seem a little crazy - even to the most magical - it may be the most logical thing to do."

"Um...", Dumbledore stroked his beard with his right hand as he nodded. "You're right. The castle doesn't have such a thing as a consciousness, as some people like to imagine. But, the moment you take over as headmaster, you have to merge with the halls of the castle. That way, you can know where someone is; not exactly who, but you can 'understand' that, for example, there's someone on the roof."

"Now... Harry... could you satisfy an old man's curiosity and tell me why you're not attending the ball?"

Snorting a little, Harry sat on the roof as he looked ahead, watching some students leave the castle to chat in more privacy. Even Hagrid left with Madame Maxime.

"I don't consider myself a champion and I just don't feel like attending," he answered honestly.

"I see..." Dumbledore nodded slowly before approaching Harry, looking out at the courtyard, where a few students had gathered. "I'd like to ask you another question, though."

"Go ahead..."

"Why are you studying books from the restricted section related to the soul?"

Harry raised his eyebrows, a little surprised. But, now that he knew about the headmaster's ability to know the location of people within the castle, he wasn't that surprised. In fact, the real surprise was how he knew it was him.

"I have no problem answering that but, first, please answer how you know it was me."

"Once again, the wonders of the halls," Dumbledore said. "But, in this case, it's because of a small statue in that place. It's like the gargoyle in front of my office door."

"Ah... I see...", Harry cursed a little inwardly, remembering the small statue that seemed to hold the candles that illuminated some parts of the restricted section of the library.

"The reason is a little simpler than I think you're imagining, Headmaster. I wanted to know more about how magic works."

"I've read books that say that the so-called core of a wizard is his heart. Others say that the core is a way of calling all the magic dispersed throughout the body of a magical human... so much nonsense that was written just to get attention or seem important...", Harry finished with a sigh of annoyance, and his answer surprised Dumbledore a little.

In fact, the older man laughed a little.

"The so-called 'core' of a wizard is in his skull, isn't it?" Dumbledore commented, noticing how Harry spoke, tacitly showing that he knew where a person's magic was located.

"Then you also know... perhaps it's not so surprising," Harry smiled slightly. "And as for the soul... Well, I was trying to figure out how it was linked to magic. After all, the spiritual energy that makes up magic is born in part from the soul, the psyche, and its connection to magical particles in the environment."

Dumbledore seemed surprised and looked down at Harry.

"Impressive... I didn't know that. It seems you've put in the effort to uncover these mysteries."

"Information is important, Headmaster. If I know how magic works properly, I can become more powerful and therefore defend myself better."

"Could you tell me what else you've discovered, Harry? I find these kinds of talks most amusing and interesting."

Harry smiled a little wider. Maybe he had let his guard down a bit, maybe he felt calmer, but he didn't mind sharing more of this information with Dumbledore. The old man didn't seem like someone who wished ill on anyone, maybe a little too kind, but now he knew that he wasn't against him or wanted him dead. So now he could understand the decisions he made in the book: Albus Dumbledore wasn't perfect. He was strong and intelligent, but not someone who was exempt from mistakes. And, adding to his discovery of the horcrux in his scar, he was probably desperate.

"Magic exists in the world... in the environment...", Harry began slowly as he looked ahead, right at the top of some trees.

"The 'gene' that magical people inherit causes three things in that person: to sense what I call magic particles, to increase their spiritual energy, and to create a connection between these two things through the body and soul."

"With the connection between the soul, spiritual energy, body, and magic particles, we can do and see magic."

"If this connection does not exist, a person could still harness a bit of this spiritual energy within them, but never do magic. I believe that these magic particles are responsible for us being able to manifest magic in the world. My theory is that they manifest this power of ours in reality and, at the same time, deform it to obtain the desired result."

Harry nodded to himself. And, while there were no magic particles in Konoha, it still worked thanks to the energy of nature. Perhaps to a lesser degree because they were not the same, but it still allowed spells and curses to manifest in reality and deform it to achieve the result that Harry wanted.

Dumbledore's eyes sparkled with excitement and... hope? Harry couldn't quite tell with that peculiar glint in the old man's eyes.

"It's a wonderful theory and it could very well be real, Harry. You've studied hard."

"Thank you..."

"Tell me, Harry... do you think this connection can be broken?"

Harry blinked in genuine surprise at the question, and immediately began to think. In fact, now that he thought about it, if this was achieved, it could be a possibility to get rid of things like Horcruxes.

"That's... kind of dangerous, Headmaster. I don't know how it would work in practice. But, theoretically, it would be possible if some kind of mental and spiritual interference magic were created. The first would make the wizard unable to think or specifically remember anything, and the second would have to make someone's spiritual energy stagnate and unable to use the connection between soul, spiritual energy, body, and magical particles."

"It wouldn't cut the connection per se, but it would stop it for a period of time."

"The other would be to simply try to launch a 'shot' of densely charged magical particles, 'negating' the magic cast by someone. But I think this would only work for when someone casts any spell on you at the time."

Dumbledore smiled a little more excitedly.

"Harry... you're a genius. You've really become someone amazing."

"Uh... Thank you?" Harry didn't know how to properly respond to Dumbledore's praise.

"I hope you do your best on the second task. Now, I have to go, an old man can't sleep this late," Dumbledore smiled and it seemed like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders as he used Apparition to leave the roof.

"Well... that was helpful, thanks old man," Harry smiled a little as he now remembered Apparition. However, he knew about the laws of magic with minors. As well as the same laws tied to Apparition.

Harry stood up ready to descend the castle walls, but when he looked down, he noticed a slightly uncomfortable Fleur Delacour next to Roger Davis, who was completely at the mercy of the French student's charms.

"Well... isn't this fun?" Harry smiled slightly before forming some hand seals and using Genjutsu on Davis. The scream that came from his throat startled Fleur and the people in the courtyard near the rose bushes. The captain of the Quidditch team fell to the ground, hitting his bottom before blinking and feeling his pants wet, right in the crotch area.

"Heh... now that's funnier," Harry laughed a little harder before running down the roof.
