Avatar cropping doesn't work on mobile

I post from mobile a lot, which is probably a mistake. Autocorrect tends to garble what I type, especially tabs. But I think that's an Android issue, not something you can fix.

What is a thing I hope you can fix is cropping of avatars on mobile. I uploaded a 1:2 aspect ratio image as an avatar thinking I could use the top half for the square image, but poking it with my finger does nothing of the sort.

I realize this is a minor issue that could be fixed by me using desktop to upload it (and obviously I'll correct it the moment I have access), but it is a bug and thus worth reporting, no matter how minor!

Actually, as far as I know... all you would need to do is just log in on a computer and you should be able to adjust the avatar without re-uploading it.

Mobile browsers do have actual limitations such as what you've experienced.

Yeah, like I said, I'll be doing that once I have access. Power in the building is sporadic lately...

Mostly I'm wondering if there's some technical solution. There's nothing else I can think of on this site I can't use a mobile browser for; rich text editing and everything works fine, the format reflows...just a minor oversight.
