Relaxing on my bed, with my phone in hand, playing my favorite Gacha —Cookie Run: Kingdom— for fun as usual.

Then I blinked.

Now I'm in some void of nothing. I looks around and finds more emptiness ahead.

"I must be dreaming."

That was the only explanation I could think of at this moment.

"I must have fallen asleep while playing Cookie Run: Kingdom. And now I'm dreaming of this void space. Yeah that must be it!" I mumbles to myself.

[Begin selection process]

"Huh?" I turn my head to see text floating in to my left.

"Wait hold on a minute!" A sinking feeling suddenly forms in my stomach. Most of my dreams are not stylized like this.

"This has to be a dream, right? Maybe I ate something bad before playing?" I'm panicking. I'm not thinking straight, but can you blame me? What I'm about to experience (and already am experiencing) is something a lot of people have been daydreaming about. And I'm mentally not prepared for that.

"—For this! Ah! My eyes!" As I finished my sentence I've been flashed by the sudden change of scenery that it disorientated me and falling onto my back.

It took what I think were a few minutes to recover and see where I've been to thrown into and I find that I'm in some forest. Though the forest wasn't dense so I think that means I'm at the edge of the woods.

"Okay, take a deep breath and try to find where the sun is. Then, after finding where east and west are, pick a direction. Simple right?" I start to talk to myself to distract myself from panicking again and to as I told myself. I walked up to the nearest and sturdiest tree and started to climb for a better view point. After I gotten to a high enough elevation I searched for the sun.

"…" good news I found out that the sun was setting. Bad news I also found the moon. Why you may ask? because the FLIPPING MOON IS BUSTED THATS WHY!

I only know one busted moon with confidence. And with how I memorized how that moon looked with only one show, "I'm in RWBY… F*ck"

Seeing my stats like this was a bit jarring. Although I'm not much of a gamer, these stats are to be expected as a level 1, but the luck stat was got me curious. Why was it so high compared with the others?

This got my immediate attention. Gacha? That's rare, in most stories I've read with systems like this, most don't have the Gacha to pull. Gacha.

The first thing I saw opening the Gacha next shocked me into confusion.

What. I repeat, what.

I was expecting a lot of things from this system. Gachas from franchises that I'm unfamiliar with, maybe if I'm lucky something I know, like Fate Grand Order? But the one Gacha I wasn't expecting is Cookie run. From what I know and searched, although Cookie Run is popular, its still small compared to the titans of other games. But I could be wrong about all of that and simply didn't searched hard enough to find those stories. Besides that, what's in front of me puzzles me a lot. "System, why is this the first thing I see from the Gacha?" I questioned in confusion.

"Data pack? Before the transfer? what I desired?" thinking it over how I got here (which I'm still puzzled by the way!). A lot of pieces starting to makes sense. Before all of this happened, I was playing my game, blinked, stuff happened and now I'm here. But this does raise some questions, "Wait, so if played another game. Would that have been in the Data pack?"

"...Damn it, I could've had the fate summoning with me now if I've played Fgo back home." Grumbling, I've accepted that I lost a opportunity to experience the wonders of the Nasuverse. Then a thought occurred to me, "But is there a chance to get it later, right?"

hmmm, it seems that half of the cookies here are from the main story before the Vanilla Kingdom While some from after. I at least got something decent out of it. "So system, what do I do with these pulls? DO I summon them, or..."

Shrugging I picked the face of the franchise, GingerBrave. Upon doing so a big candy cane was summoned into my hand. Huh.

After looking through the mini wall of text, I felt my heart starting to pump in excitement. But before I could see the changes to my stats, I sensed a dark presence. immediately I turn to the source and see a being in black. its head covered by bone plating. "Why hi there Grimm..." in a sarcastic tone.

Grimm, more specifically a Beowulf. and if one is spotted... More Beowulfs slowly appear around me, growling. Some of them fit the small description I made of a Beowulf, but interestingly most of them don't have the bone plating. In total, two plated, and eight without.

What I am mostly paying attention to was the numbers above their heads.

The Gacha. To able to pull things from the multiverse and into a player's hands. Usually such functions are only accessed to players much later into their growth. Some players, like you, only have this function early through fulfilling a hidden condition. A player must be, or at least have played a game with a Gacha system within 24 hours before transferring into another world. Those that have this function --with in=game currency-- a player can grab anything from the endless multiverse. At least, if fortune favors that player.

In its current state, although it can pull anything from the multiverse. there is too many things for even the system to search through. To filter and organize everything more efficiently, another function is added with this one together, the banners.

The banners. This function is the systems way to limiting and focusing certain items through the multiverse, it is infinitely more efficiently and with zero delay. It concentrates the Gacha into categories by either genres, or franchises for better, higher quality results. Examples like, Mecha, Fantasy, Films, Games, history, and many, many more. T

he downsides to this banner function --if someone is complaining-- is one banner can only search through 1 thing, and that only. Though that limitation can be quickly fixed if a player as multiple banners in the Gacha.

If a player has one banner in the system, or non at all (somehow). Then to obtain a banner, a player must go through a CHALLENGE QUEST: "RISE YOUR BANNERS!", and complete the certain amount within the quest in order to obtain the players chosen banner. Note; this type of quest is only available at a certain level. on what level that might be, is dependent differently for each player.

The show really, and I mean REALLY downplayed the threat of the Grimm.

In the show, the Grimm weren't a serious threat to the characters. So the audience —and I— would believe that the Grimm can be dealt with a few good shots here, and a few swings there.

Oh how wrong I was.

The Grimm were —and still are— a threats to most of humanity and the Faunus. I mean, the show even tells us that these things forced most sapient life live in four, and I repeat, FOUR kingdoms. With Menagerie being the fifth unofficial kingdom left standing against extinction.

And now you might be wondering why am I having this thought going through my mind you might ask? Well, that's because the beowulfs I'm fighting are more harder to slay than the show, well has shown.

"Sheesh, is RWBY on hard difficulty, or I'm SERIOUS under leveled. OR maybe I'm REALLY suck at fighting the literal walking mass of darkness." I muttered as I dodge a wild swipe from a young beowulf. I quickly turn my arm, and with my cane, hit that beowulf twice, killing it.

I dodged away from a swipe from a bone plated beowulf claws before I could see what the SYSTEM was saying from all the killed minor beowulf's. That was WAY to close. Unlike thier younger counterparts, who were inexperienced and that lead to their deaths by me. The ones with bone plating, likely the older Grimm I surmised. Their attacks were more practiced, meaning more dangerous to me. I could wilted down the two's health in a few minutes, but not killing them as they were also dodge MY attacks.

I was getting tired, and fast. Then an idea struck me that if I wasn't in a life or death situation, I would of facepalmed myself for forgetting this info. "Time to test out the ultimate skill," getting up into position, letting more of GingerBrave's skills flowing into me.

"BRAVE DASH"

Within a second, energy swelled inside of me and spread across my body. I charged towards the two beowulf's that were ready to swipe their claws at me. Only for them to get hit by me body slamming them into a tree and knocking it over into splinters.

I collapsed on the ground, exhausted, but alive.

"Later, I need to get far from here first." With that I tried to quickly get up and started running. I really don't want to stay here for too long, or more Grimm might show up and I'm too tired to fight more. So I ran away from the forest and into a clearing.

After sprinting as far as I could, I stopped near a river. getting thirsty from the running, I slowly went close to the river to get a drink. Seeing my reflection shocked me. Why you may ask? Well...

"WHY AM I KID!"

I slapped myself out of my panic and try to gain my bearings. It just took awhile. (A.k.a. It took about 13 minutes (DON'T SAY THAT TO THE READERS))

I went back to the river to see my reflection. Again I see my younger self looking back at me. I'm not the best at describing things but if I tried then, I looked to be around 14, maybe 15 years old. My hair is the same, black hair with a natural green at the edges of my hair. My eyes are a vibrant jade, which is where I got my name from. My face is rounder again, though that's expect I guess when your younger, but...

"System, why am I younger again?" I questioned.

[It was deemed that this regression would give the player the highest chance of survival compared to if the player remained unchanged. And it's in the SYSTEM's highest priority for the player's survival.]

"So me being younger is to keep me safe? Don't know how that works but if it does then I'm not complaining." reluctantly shrugging, I go take my hand into the river to get water to drink. After getting my fill of water, I checked the rewards, and I believe the rewards were great for being my first.

"This just in, on Vale News. Sentient cookies with magic powers saving Humans and Faunus from the Grimm outside of the city's walls." The news reporter said. An bizarre sentence said out loud was heard on live broadcast.

All across of Vale, and later across the globe, people are witnessing something that should only happen in fairy tales.

"This is Lisa lavender, reporting on the scene. Along with me are huntsmen witnessing the battle live." On screen, people see the mass of destructive Grimm were being slayed by multiple cookies.

A cookie in black. Wearing a three horned crown, wielding a sword, charged towards the Grimm with a mighty roar. The Purple gem in its small sword's guard -to the average human and Faunus- glowed a purple aura and grew several times its size and sliced the Grimm to nothing.

Not far behind the dark cookie, another cookie joins the fray with a smile. This one in a pink dress, wielding a heart shaped shield. Despite the shields size, it blocks the Grimm's attack and being pushed back by a shining pink light from the pink gem in the center of the shield.

In the air, a golden cookie soars the sky with its wings. The golden cookie's laughs at the Nevermores flying and failing to catch the winged cookie. The Yellow gem in the golden cookie's crown glows and arrows of light pierced the Nevermores from the sky like rain.

Back on the ground, two cookies were working together in fighting king taijitu. A cookie in a green dress, with braided white hair, raises her staff and the green gem shines. Then trees and vines of lily's sprung out from the ground and traps the king taijitu and several other Grimm in place, all shaking and clawing to escape the vine's grip.

At the same time, a cookie in white robes, raised their sunflower like staff and their blue gem in the white cookie's robes glows and pure light shins over the trapped Grimm, all of them disintegrated instantly.

As the fight goes on, not far from the battlefield, Humans and Faunus were being guided by three cookies.

On a child's hands was a cookie. The most ordinary cookie out of all of them. Points their candy cane at a direction, is seemingly leading the crowd of people to safety.

On the child's shoulder, is a cookie wearing a strawberry themed hoodie with a lollipop on their back seems to be speaking with the other cookie on the child's other shoulder. This cookie looks like a stereotypical wizard with a wizards hat and staff. The child themselves is laughing at the three cookies antics.

Back in the city, most adults were confused while the children were laughing and in awe of what's happening on tv. Some huntsmen were even looking at their drink, wondering if someone spiked their beverages.

Whatever it is, none can deny what all are seeing. A historical moment is being made. Whether that is a good or bad thing is still up in the air.
