Can I create another snippet thread in the NSFW Creative Writing section, despite already having one?

Asking because I wish to distance myself from my previous amateurish works, but don't want to outright delete my old stuff for the sake of preservation (I'm a hoarder librarian at heart). I've been writing stuff once in a while, just single escapees from my plot bunny slaughterhouse every now and again, but never found an area I could post them freely. The old snippet thread would technically work, but I really don't want my new work associated that much with what I've already posted there.

If that helps, the old thread would be relegated to focusing on questionable content, while the new one would be for more wholesome plot bunnies, if that makes sense.

Now, I think it probably would be fine if I made a new thread like that anyway, but it doesn't hurt to get official approval.

Therefore I'm hereby summoning the QQ council, in all of their tarnished glory, to render their judgment.

There's plenty that make a second snippet thread, either because the first one got full or because they changed as a writer. Just make a last thread mark on the old one directing anyone who was watching to the new thread.

Pretty much this, with my direct experience of JBukharin and first snippet thread threadmark order being FUBAR'd.

There's no rule against this.

If you started making new threads repeatedly to the point of being spammy, that might eventually attract staff attention. But just having two snippet threads isn't in danger of that.

I figured this might be the case, but wanted to have all my bases covered anyways. Make it all official if / when that happens, that the staff would all be properly notified and no rule breaking took place.

Also if a hypothetical future reader asked why I made another thread when I had a perfectly serviceable older one, I would be able to just quote the you from here and now, wipe my hands off the the whole affair and shift all the blame on your indubitably overworked shoulders.
