Der Gebogene wird selber Bieger: Kirche the Zero Quest

[X] Sarutobi Hiruzen

For the three way tie!

Changed from Dio-sama.

Bah. Well if Oscar Wild isn't going to win...

[X] Sarutobi Hiruzen

I am sorry.

It amuses me somehow that none of these men are going to come within three inches of matching Kirche's height.

Well, Alexander, if I coopt that bit of Eggplant lore.

Oh, and since it affects playstyle:

Sarutobi - Lifdrasil

Alexander - Windalfr

Sano - Gandaflr

Oscar Wilde (if he catches up) - Myotz-la-la-la, or Lifdrasil, haven't decided.

Sarutobi's going to be the living bomb, huh? Well, I suppose that he would also act as a battery for willpower. If that would allow him to channel magic, I might change my vote to him. After all, Sano is stronger with his fists after learning that technique that lets him shatter whatever he hits.

Yeah, I only really made Sano the Gandalfr because I wanted to have each option correspond to a different familiar-type. Also I have no fucking idea what the Lifdrasil actually does besides die to power the genocide-spell, so I gave that option to the most overpowered of the four.

Mastery of Three Layers in a world with Water mages around to heal his hands immediately afterward would be quite a fucking thing to see.

Give the Professor time. I'm sure he'll work out how to turn the genocide spell into limitless chakra.

.....Now I kinda want Kirche to summon Orochimaru. There is nothing that cannot be made more....interesting when Orochimaru is added.

Or Kisame. Just for sheer, utter lulz.

And no Samehada for him! I'll bet that'll make him good and cranky.

XD You just don't wanna have to exert yourself to think in-character!

Well... That accusation is kind of groundless, as we would still be playing as Kirche, anyway, and not as the summoned individual, right?

And besides, everyone misses 'A Good Day For Ninja Science'. ;)

Meh, I go back and forth when I wanna show alternate interpretations of the same scene and give players different choices than they would normally get to make.

Is AGDFNS officially dead, then? Shame.

Well not officially, but people make certain assumptions when something stops updating...

I do plan to get back to it eventually.

Just... you know... stuff, excuses, whatever.

Please hurry. The voice in my head has cabin-fever, and the hissing makes it really hard to sleep.

Incidentally, I am a Snake in the Chinese Zodiac. Do you think that's significant?

It makes you proud, stubborn, slothful about things which are not your obsessions, arrogant, and vain. So even if it isn't, if you want to believe it is, no one will convince you otherwise.

I should know, Yin-Earth 'Little Dragon' class of '89. 8)

[6] Alexander of Macedon (with a Rider-ish tint to him, but not full-bore)

[6] Sagara Sanosuke
[8] Sarutobi Hiruzen

Current tally. C'mon, people, you're in a school full of familiars with a main character trying to fuck over canon. You know you want a Windalfr conqueror to take this pseudo-Enlightenment hellhole in hand!

Or if not that, then at least give Kirche a pretty birdy-head punchy-boy. The other two'll try to make her stay in the Academy.

Well, I'll certainly grant you that Alexander will probably do more than fine in Germania.

Does it have to be old Hiruzen? If we can summon a younger Sarutobi, I'd vote for that.

Why not Alexander: He's a king and conqueror. He doesn't play second fiddle, and that's kinda bad here. I'd rather have a familiar that doesn't ultimately doesn't try to concentrate all power and conquer the whole continent to himself. It already turned me off enough when Napoleon was summoned.

Sanosuke makes the story become kinda simple. He's fiercely independent, but doesn't desire all political power to himself, so it is better than Alexander. But on the other hand, the default answer to everything becomes "Drink ourselves to stupor", "Sex ourselves to stupor" (kinda, Japanese guy and everything) and/or "Punch the problem to its stupor". Since Kirche default answer is kinda similar anyway, there's little protection against us being manipulated to hell and back for other people political motivations. The best we'd hope for is to be throwing wrenches at every plan everyone has. Well, that or we start doing the old Exalted social defense of Join Combat every time someone try to do a social attack. :p

Sarutobi is a cool old guy who is reasonably used to politicking, even if he dislikes it. He should know his way around nobles, even if he decides not to bother with it for most part. He doesn't mind not having the power for himself. In fact, he rather not have power and responsibility, but his sense of duty can make him accept if others ask him and he feels they need his help. With him we might be an actual player instead of just a piece in the board (if a rather random and unpredictable piece).

Those are all excellent points, for a serious quest.

Just 'cause I'm serious right now, don't make the mistake of thinking this isn't going to be a playful romp where your main objective is to do whatever you damn well please no matter what everyone else has planned.
