Costa Rica, 1974.

A mercenary group only known as Militaires Sans Frontières has been documented to have been engaged with numerous firefights against the CIA; Alex and Frank are sent in to provide surveillance on the mercenary group, and if needed, to assassinate the commanders of Militaires Sans Frontières. However, the Joint Chief of Staff's are suspiciously against the involvement of the CIA.

    "1972. We don't exactly when but a mercenary group was established and was subsequently extensively hired by the Colombian Government and by Costa Rica." Hudson briefed them, "It was established by former-CIA operative, Naked Snake, now known as Big Boss."

    "Naked Snake?" Alex chuckled, "Seems like he's a nudist."

    "The former was a code name, the latter was the title given to him by the former president, Lyndon B. Johnson."

    "Why Big Boss?"

    "We don't know. I tried to get some files but everything from his name, to his past were kept very classified. I got a call from a man named Zero telling me to drop my inquiries. JCS also called up to tell me to not engage the man. It was odd." Hudson stood up, "What we do know is that he was the student of the soldier The Boss otherwise known as The Joy. Other than that, nothing else."

    "The Joy?" Alex inquired,

    "How the hell do you not know about The Boss, Mason?" Woods asked, almost hurt. "She was my fuckin' hero when the Korean War popped off."

    "She?"

    "Yup."

    Woods revealed, "I actually met Snake back in 'Nam, he was fuckin' insane. Took down a helicopter with an M16 and a tank with a pack of grenades. Mind you, he was missing an eye."

    "What about Militaires Sans Frontières?"

    Hudson answered, "It's real diverse. Members from the CIA, KGB, MI6 have all joined him. Apparently, MSF claims to be a haven for soldiers. But they also recruit their members by abducting their enemies and converting them to working for MSF."

    "Brainwashing?" Alex asked concerned, his previous experiences with brainwashing had him unsettled with the process.

    "No. He's just really persuasive." Hudson walked to the window, "Your mission is to go to Costa Rica, and to provide information regarding them and, if needed, kill Big Boss."

    Woods snorted, "Good fuckin' luck tryin' that. I saw the man kill twelve VC's armed with AK's with nothing but his fists. He entered North Vietnam, with nothing but a uniform, and killed an NVA general."

    It's short but will act as the prologue for this story.
