This is my first post unrelated to a work of fiction but I thought it essential enough to share. I've been watching some videos, taking in some alternative perspectives, and doing some thinking. I think that since Eddie Munson is dead in stranger things and people so clearly love the character to an inspiring degree, we as an audience really need him to be the catalyst for rock and metal affecting the stranger things universe.
Imagine for a moment that Eddie's death has a profound impact on either Mike, Dustin, or Lucas, considering those are the three main characters with the most connection with him. In the most recent season, it was obvious that Dustin had the most connection with Eddie so I am really excited about the idea of Dustin becoming a badass nerd metal head somehow. Inspired by Eddie's sacrifice he chooses to adopt some of his most awesome traits. He becomes an inspiration for the HellFire club and becomes their new leader, while also learning to play the guitar and starting a band with the main cast.

Please share your thoughts! Trying to have a discussion while I am all giddy about the idea.
