Exactly what it says in the title. What are fanfics that you enjoy and would recommend to others?
There's a few RWBY crossovers that I would like to recommend. Two are ongoing and can be found only on FF.net. The last one is complete and can be found on both FF.net and Ao3.
The first story is a RWBY/Marvel crossover called Earth's Mightiest Huntsmen by Guest 1138:
The premise is that Ultron has invaded Remnant, and while the inhabitants have been putting up heavy resistance, the planet is falling. In the midst of the conflict, Teams RWBY and JNPR encounter Ultron and, despite their best efforts, are defeated by him. However, a final defiant act by Ruby results in both teams being transported off Remnant and scattered across the Marvel universe.
The second fic I would like to recommend is a RWBY/Warhammer 40K crossover called Saint Summer the Huntress by Korykr:
The premise is that after her death while fighting Salem, Summer Rose finds herself in the Warp, where she discovers that daemons are real. After a series of events that result in her becoming a living saint and meeting Celestine, she emerges from the Warp on Cadia one day before the fall.
The last fic is a RWBY/Battletech/Mechwarrior crossover called Rose's Rowdies by Bryon Nightshade. It's already completed, but it's still a fun read:
This one's different from the others in that it's an AU crossover. By that, I mean that the RWBY characters in the story are not the ones from Remnant— in fact, Remnant doesn't even exist in this story. These are versions of the characters that were born in the Battletech/Mechwarrior universe. And in the interest of full disclosure, I tend to be partial to AU crossovers like this.
Essentially Team RWBY are reimagined as a single-lance mercenary outfit who have very high ethical standards that dictate what jobs they take. Consequently, jobs tend to be rare and they tend to go hungry more often than not. But their next job turns out to be a real surprise: Comstar wants to hire them for a mission that could determine the fate of the Inner Sphere.
