• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Profile-postings-find all threads posted by

It's hiding at the bottom on the right but it's the best/only way to find all the stories posted by someone in the creative section. I've explained this process to people more times than I can count. People even ask me stuff like "did they delete your old stories?" This tells me it's a design issue that could be improved. If it were me, I've put "find all threads posted by" up there next to postings. Alternatively you could put a big in your face noticed about the location and necessity of that semi hidden link, or just move that link to the top, not bottom of the page. Well that's my two cents :).

Oh, you're talking about ways to make the feature more discoverable! Okay then.

Sufficient Velocity includes "find all posts by" and "find all threads by" in their version of the user pop-up. Pretty sure that's just an XF2 feature. Which means, 1) that it should happen "for free" when QQ eventually updates to XF2 (it's been "in the pipeline" for A While Now), and 2) that it's almost certainly not going to be touched untill after the XF2 update (because it would be a silly use of effort).

(SV also includes "find all stories" and "find all quests" in that drop-down, but that might be an add-on that SV uses rather than default XF2 behavior.)

Also:

This feature can also be gotten in the "informational" tab of profile posts. And there should be a way to do it using just the search interface, but I seem to recall that not working quite the way I wanted it to.

SB also has it so it's probably an at least semi-default thing.
