Fixing the Reply Button

So, I keep seeing people quote the whole Chapter, and keep being asked not to do that, but I think they keep clicking the reply button, which basically quotes the whole chapter. Is there anything to fix this, like clicking it just quotes the Chapter Header or something like that?

There is a function to quote and multi-quote only selected text, but on some themes like Light Responsive it's just not working for most mobile devices.

But it is second reason only. Quoting chapters by replying is probably just Twitter-trained crowd ingrained reflexes.

I don't think I explained myself well. I just clicked reply and it auto quoted your entire comment, so I was wondering if something can be done one about that, because like you said, some people are pavlov trained to click Reply. If it just something that happens to me, well I will look into it, but I think the people that keep quoting a whole chapters in their posts in are people that simply click reply. and don't pat attention or don't give fuck that they just auto quoted the entire chapter.

There isn't an option to automatically remove the quoted text. That's the default for most forums ala BBC/XF coding.
