Short story shorter I've had mouth issues for a long while, finally had oral surgery and am now moved up from liquid foods to soft (I forgot just plain salt and peppered eggs were so good) and assuming everything goes well in two weeks I'll be able to eat like a normal human being for the first time in ages.
So, what should I eat that a regular American teenager (when my problems started) wouldn't have?
I've tried burgers, fries, pizza, fish and chips and all that popular stuff already- and am eager for it again but what else?
Already on my list is 'Blooming onions', they weren't popular when my problems started and those commercials about them since have my mouth watering in fury.
Update 3-14: I've moved up to soft foods and have confirmed Sloppy Joes- or rather cheese+ pulled pork Joes since I love cheese and prefer pork and despise the high price of beef- are one of the best foods in forever. Non-Americans and people living in caves should ignore the odd appearance and texture and give them a try, you probably won't be disappointed. Swear I dang near cried when I first ate one, I've been craving a cheeseburger forever but I'm not up for that yet and this was more than an acceptable substitute.
