Some of my chapter posts are informative. Others are omakes. Others are interludes. Is there a way to divide them up, or at least delete threadmarks or move them into different 'sections'?

Click "Threadmark" at the bottom of the post you want to move around, and you can select one of four categories.

Different question, but also about altering threadmarks.

I've noticed that the default ordering of threadmarks isn't consistent between threads. Some default to newest at the top, others default to newest at the bottom. Is there some way to pick which way your thread goes? Is this a bug? I know I can manually reorder them, but if they're defaulting to newest last, and I reorder them, then the previous/next buttons will be backwards. What's going on here?

I don't know why this happens. I suspect it's a bug.

Are you referring to the *full threadmarks list*, or to the drop-down?

Because if it's doing that in the full list, without being done manually, that's a bug.

But I've gotten the impression that the drop-down menu puts the newest threadmark as far away from the dropdown button as it can manage, which could look like it's switching between "newest on top" and "newest on bottom".

The dropdown. Glaurung has newest at the bottom, but both Conduit threads have the newest at the top.
