How does Quest Voting work from the end of the OP?

I saw this in the BB codes thread: [VOTERESULT]X[/VOTERESULT], but I'm still having trouble actually getting vote results to work. Could someone show me an example of how to get this to work?

For example, say you had three things in a thread to vote for

[] Option 1
[] Option 2
[] Option 3

Say that each of those options had five votes for them. How would I display those results properly without manually going through the thread and adding them up?

Why not just open a poll?
If you go on 'Thread Tools' you can just Create a poll, it should be able what you want to do.
Not sure if thats what you want, never saw a way to put voting polls in each chapter, only on the whole thread

Most people use the external program NetTally (https://github.com/Kinematics/NetTally) to count the votes. It will give you as output the tally in a format that you can just paste into a post.
