  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

I lost my entire draft. How do I get it back?

So I was making a story ideas thread and I guess I afk'd for too long, because when I reloaded the page the entire draft was gone, ~3k words and about 10 hours of work. It said that the draft was saved so I assumed that the draft would have been still there when I reloaded the page, and I was signed in, so is there any way I can get the draft back, or is it just gone forever, and I have to rewrite what I remember, because I really don't feel like doing that.

You could open a new tab and see if you can re-load it... but a good chance it's gone.

It's why it's generally better to either use your online e-mail drafts or pastebin or google docs to type stuff and then copy paste into forums.

Yeah, the drafts feature here is only about 24 hours. It's more for saving your comment while you go get a source link in the same tab, than it is for saving progress on long-form work.
