  • The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

I'm not getting emails from QQ

edit* thank you for telling me you can turn that off im now back on desktop but thats gotta be a major issue for people who arent also logged in on a seperate device.

Managed to get in through desktop by checking a backup code from my phone. Still have not received emails, even through spam.
 
I haven't gotten any since at least yesterday myself, I use Gmail. And I've made sure to add QQ to my whitelist.
 
Been having issues myself, having not received emails for some days.
 
I also haven't gotten any emails since Tuesday. On the bright side, I have a half a week's worth of updates to read through now.
 
I got some on tuesday and a few after the site came back up but I think I've been down since exactly 12am wednesday

It looks like the problem hasn't been entirely fixed for me. I'll get alerts for some threads, but then I'll come here and see other alerts that apparently didn't make it to my inbox.

Same here, I've been checking it regularly and nothing so far. Honestly it's not that big a deal. I'm more happy that the problem with images has been mostly resolved but it's just annoying.
 
Was confused why there's suddenly a lot of emails. Turned out, it was backlog -- I've already checked most of those via the site's notification page.

Speaking of - can we have granular notifications and push notifications soon pls. The current system has an annoying weird situation where if I Watch a Thread due to default notifications setting for threads I reply to, I only get the OP post notifs on the site, so I need to unfollow and refollow to get OP post email notifs as well.
 
I just got another burst of backlogged emails. So I guess the problem has something to do do with the emails being sent out in bunches?

If by granular notifications you mean what SB has? Never, Xon hasn't made that addon available for purchase, we cannot obtain it.
