So, I've got some NSFW pictures I'm trying to embed in a story, but I'm running into a problem. I insert the link to the image in the image URL box, but the image doesn't load. I've tried Imgur and ImageBam, and neither one seems to be serving the images that I'm requesting. I suspect that it's because they're marked as adult/mature, so they're hidden from the typical public search, but such images have been correctly referenced in the past, and work just fine on other sites. Does anyone have suggestions about how to get a NSFW non-hentai image to embed, or what site I can use that won't prevent access by this site? Imgur used to be good for this, but their non-porn stance has changed that.

Well, I used google drive, and allowed everyone to see the link. Had been a while so I had to test it out. Seems like they had changed some stuff, but I got it to work on the second try (I think).

The link: http://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1Aa4ld6QwEv0B5XPBsn0hxa38nnZ-KEx2
The link I got from drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Aa4ld6QwEv0B5XPBsn0hxa38nnZ-KEx2/view?usp=sharing

So I took 1Aa4ld6QwEv0B5XPBsn0hxa38nnZ-KEx2 from the drive link, and added it after http://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=

Alright, that worked perfectly for the preview, but the actual post isn't showing the pictures.

I'll try deleting the spoilers and re-adding the picture, just to see if the formatting is somehow throwing things off.

Quick test: Can you see the images in the post editor? Not when you hit the 'Preview' button, but if you add the image to the post with the 'Insert edit image' button?

If so, the problem might be that the image is either too big or in a weird format which the QQ image proxy - the thing that lets the site do the thing where images are shrunk to fit the screen by default but expand to full size when clicked - is failing on it.

Test 2: If you put in a link to the image, then click the link, does the image load?

So, yes, after a quick check, the images load fine (if slowly) in the post editor. They don't show up in the preview view, but they are visible in the editing stage. And the links work. I've posted the image to two locations, posted the links in a post, clicked on each, and each time the image successfully loaded in a new tab. I'm suspecting that you might be on to something about the sizing, because the images are just PNGs.
