Images kind of borked?

Been trying to add images to my thread, but while they show up OK during post editing, when posted, they show up that link broken icon instead. Saw it happen with imgur links, and tried linking to something in a Fandom page, the latter worked, the former not.

Any help, please?

You gotta make sure the format of the pics are not in webp format.

all are jpg or png.

And i said they show up fine in the editor.

still borked when actually posted.

someone suggested i post them first in pinterest and use their url, so will try that an report back

The route I take to download the image, upload the picture to a private discord channel, then copy the media url of the discord post.

I never have issues with the url going bad over time and whatever system discord uses for pictures seems to auto convert any picture format into one forums are happy with.
 
Just had an issue with an image not being proxied, but when I went back to copy the post link here, it appears the proxy got caught up and the image is now displaying correctly in the post.

Imgur images haven't worked since the server move.
