Thought we may need a place to test the waters for new ideas for RPs and Quests so GMs do not invest time in planning out a game that ends up getting no real player support.

I'll start out.

1.) Shaman King Quest. - Q.Q. Plays as the voices in Yoh Asakura's head and guides his actions in whatever goals they want. May be a psuedo-crossover with FSN possibly.

2.) Grail War Quest - Your standard FSN quest featuring a Servant protagonist. If we do this, I'd probably import my Deja Vu setting and give the players the option of reloading Nimrod!KingOfMen.

3.) Brutal Quest - Q.Q. Plays as Eddie Riggs from the video game brutal legends circa the start of the game. Build yourself an army, and with the power of METAL! drive out the demons that infest the land. Empire Builder.

4.) Teen Titan Quest - Play as one of the titans from the cartoon, and do as you well in the DC setting. Likely protagonist would be Beast Boy cause he does not get enough screen time and when he does its always as the shows butt monkey.

5.) Poke___ Quest - the blank spot is either 'mons or 'girls depending on the groups desires. I am familiar enough with both settings for either to work, though naturally Pokegirls would end up likely being NSFW due its very nature (gathering a battle harem of monster girls that require bumping uglies with their master/tamer/trainer to stay sane.).

So any of these ideas appealing?

Brutal Legend may be interesting.

I'm currently mulling over how a quest with a Denarian protagonist might play out.

I'd play a denarian quest in a heart beat. Toss a silver denarius into another setting with a handful of other coins for fun and profit and see how the dice fall.

Hmm. Is this going to end up the new 'Ideas and Suggestions' thread, I wonder?

Grail Wars and Pokemon/Pokegirls are of interest to me! I don't know Brutal Legend and Shaman King that well, and I am neutral to Teen Titan.

So a lot of interest in the ideas but its a bit scattered. If I could get some more feedback that would be awesome.

Can I just get one more persons feedback? If not you'll force me to roll a die :(

Let's go with Titan Quest. Though I wouldn't mind having Grail Quest started up again.

Okay so I've at least ruled out Brutal Quest and Shaman Quest.

Now time to roll some dice.

1 or 6= Titan Quest
2 or 4 = Poke__ Quest
3 or 5= Grail War Quest

[blockquote]Rolled 1d6 : 1, total 1[/blockquote]

Teen Titans... Eh, I watched a couple episodes?

Should be more then enough for a RP I guess.

Biigoh ponders doing Kariya Kwest... 4th Holy War Quest

Choices are Prodigal Son (canon), Prodigy Son (stayed with Zouken and went magus), and The Wyrm that Walks as a Man (don't ask) for MC.

Servent choices would be No Catalyst, Maiden's Hankerchief, Handmirror.

No catalyst would have a servant that could be Berserker, Caster, Assassin or Saver.

Hmmmm....

Really kinda tempted to do a 'girls quest instead cause the support seems to be stronger for that then titans and a battle harem sounds like it could be funny if done right.

Hrm...

All my yes. DOO EEET

Servant Classes would be rolled as opposed to being selected.

But Berserker is no talky fun. Could we at least do a write in for a catalyst we could reasonably get a hold of in time for the ritual?

Well, I suppose we could try using Happiness Worms as a catalyst, and see what they call up?

It's less the Catalyst and more the classes said servant ends up in.

For example if you get Avalon as a catalyst, you have a chance of Saber, Assassin, Lancer or Caster (not Arthuria).

That's the "no Catalyst" option. ^_^

Well, at least I will be participating. As you wish.

I am checking interest for a Princes of Amber Quest! Anyone would like to play ?

Which prince? Because I'm opposed to Merlin on principle.

Why, you would have the choice of course! I am not some sort of monster! Playing a scion of Chaos would be bad taste.

I'm not too familiar with The Amber Chronicles in any form, but what I'm seeing looks very interesting.

Thinking of maybe doing a MTG quest. Have two out of 5 starting color-alignment opening initial storylines worked out, but I probably won't work out the other 3 colors if there isn't any interest.

I've never been fond of mapped out storylines/plots. I prefer sandbox where you get plopped down in a location and left to your own devices.

Crossover or set on one of the planes? And if it's on one of the planes, will there be New Phyrexia?

Sure, but there's still different starting abilities and starting color also determines something of personality, and who will oppose you. Those who would naturally be allies-by-default if you were white aligned would have very different dispositions towards you if you were black aligned.

What MTG world would it be in?

Here's hoping it's the old-school one the Greensleeves trilogy and Arena are located in. That was always my favorite. Although whatever world had Kemahl in it was pretty good too, and the Weatherlight was pretty swashbuckle-y.
