Is there a way to only see when a threadpost is added without seeing other people comments?

So i dunno if there is something im missing, but when i look at followed threads, for some reason it shows up that ive not read the thread when someone posts a comment.
I already find it difficult to remember what chapter i was on, but then on top of that the posts add a layer of chaffe to sift through in order to get where i want to be.
No offence but i follow threads for the story im not bothered about people comments or suggestions. Is there a way to remove/hide comments so i only see the threadposts?

Well you can do this by not entering the latest page of a page after you see the notification, and after that the only notification you'll get is from the threadmaker

There should be the read button which should only show thread marks

Do you mean "Watched Threads"?

There is a Reader Mode function, a button near below the Watch/Unwatch and Ignore/Inignore option at the top right of the thread, or at the bottom right.

Clicking it hides all non-threadmarked posts, so if the thread OP is diligent in thread-marking, the thread now will only show the story posts.

Separately, if there are other threadmarked posts that are indexed differently, you can also click on the similarly list button at the top left, beside the Threadmark list button, and the scroll menu will show a Reader Mode button for that list.

You can also set it so that Watched Threads only send you Alerts specifically if OP posts.
SB and SV use a special Alert that tells you if the OP post is threadmarked or not, but QQ hasn't used that.

EDIT: Also, I think this should have been in a different forum than Announcement and Rules?

Regarding configuring the alerts, see also this thread.

Note that the settings discussed in that thread only affect alerts, not the "Watched Threads" page.

Thankyou, ive just changed my settings and should be good to go.
Also i realised after first posting that this thread should have been put up elsewhere, but i didnt know if i could move the thread somewhere more appropriate, so i left it.
