Mato Seihei no Slave or Slave of the Magic Capital's Elite Troops is a manga written by Takahiro and drawn by Yohei Takemura. Takahiro previously wrote Akame Ga Kill and one can easily see that seeing as the main female protagonist is NotEsdeath. Here is the synopsis of the series

Synopsis
The demon-filled dimension known as "Mato" has opened, and a type of "peach" tree that grows there yields fruit that confers special powers to those who eat it, giving humanity a fighting chance, but this only works for women. As such, as protectors of humanity, women rise in social status while men are relegated to second-class citizens scraping for basic occupation and acknowledgment. Cue Yuuki Wakura, a domestically crafty high school senior whose sister was taken during a Mato event 5 years before; while lamenting the hardships of the life ahead of him, an event opens before him, and while being rescued from demons by Captain Kyouka of the Anti-Demon Corps, she confers him powers as her "slave" and turns him into a mighty beast mount that mows down the monsters. However, there is a surprising price to pay for being her Slave... and it's not him who has to pay it.

The series is beautifully drawn, and the show never goes that deep into the ramifications of men being relegated to second-class citizens. The gender role has been used as an in-setting excuse for the fem-dom. I don't know why they went that route seeing as the Slave gimmick provides that well enough, but what can you do? The series is horny on main and I blinked when I heard it was on Shonen jump. The plot is going to interesting places. We've recently found out that Japan has a stranglehold on the Mato-peaches and that other nations are desperately trying to break said stranglehold. A new antagonist was added to the series main antagonist. More importantly, the series protagonist just got beat out of his "evil mode" by the strongest character in the series. The problem is she seems to believe that all that was required for a reward was headpats, and not whatever Yuuki's subconscious desires are.

Anyway, this thread is for the discussion of the series or fic ideas if anybody has any. Be excellent to one another.

The Commander has always been the peak of humanity. She's so far above everybody that she must've been almost like a God to Yuuki. This means that Yuuki's reward is for him to literally pet the Commander. I don't mean that sexually. I mean he literally pets her like a dog and she gets hot and bothered over it. Our boi is weird.

Clearly, Yuuki's subconscious reaction to overly dominant women like the Commander is to want to reverse things and have her on the submissive role instead.

Switches are fun.
All I could think while reading, the chapter was "how pent up do you have to be to pant from having your hair stroked?"

Has the commander never permitted somebody to touch her hair?

That sounds well.... standard with how I remember Akama Ga Kill.

Chapter 58 dropped and Himari's mother is the focus. I'd elaborate more but that's the whole chapter. Well, that and Yuuki getting princess carried.

The Raws for Chapter 59 got released and Himari's family is batshit insane.

Chapter 63 is out and Fubuki has a vested interest in educating her daughter in all matters.

in regards to the chained soldiers verse I feel the peaches causes gender equality to be loss to be silly

we will get rid of the plot point that with the arrival of mato and the peach which only works with women gender equality is lost

men being turned into second class citizens
and women taking over the high ranking positions/leaders of the world . I find the idea that the peach only working with women somehow leading to those outcomes like every country being led by women being silly for many reasons ( like the fact they don't need to fight)
it would be more likely that women would be targeted for the draft or brought into being fighters.

There are only two ways this setting's matriarchy could've worked. One is if some women gained abilities that enabled them to reach high positions of power. We've seen with Nei that not all Abilities are combat-based, so it'd be plausible for there to be as many abilities for political and social maneuvering as there are for combat.

Another is if Mato Defense Corps members used their track record to get high military positions or elected into public office. Since humanity faces an existential threat, the people would gladly elect the women responsible for defending them. There are plenty of precedents for soldiers-turned-politicians in real life, and considering that Ren Yamashiro has ambitions of becoming Prime Minister of Japan, at the very least, this seems doable.

In both instances, only Japan would become something close to a matriarchy because Japan, as the sole country with Mato portals, has a monopoly on Peaches. The MDC neutralizes anyone involved in their illegal trade and is also a Japanese military outfit with a majority of Japanese membership. The sole foreign chief got her Ability illegally and only joined when Ren cut a deal with her. The rest of the world should be the same as before.

If Mato portals opened worldwide, the Shuuki were wiping out cities, and the MDC was instead an international military alliance much like the titular group from Strike Witches; maybe matriarchy going global could've been justified, but as it stands, the story's premise conflicts with later setting information, which convinces me that the setting was just an afterthought.

Do you know what would've been clever and nuanced? If the story had portrayed women having extra responsibilities to go along with their perks. Maybe they could be drafted without warning indefinitely. Perhaps they'd have to go through a lot of onerous bureaucracy and scrutiny to ensure they're not using their Abilities illegally. Women may be on a pedestal, but the pedestal needs to be maintained.

Mato Seihei is like MahouAko in that it's an ecchi vehicle with a sound story. But unlike MahouAko, Takahiro has a lot of irons in the fire, and he's still meandering with the plot. I didn't find Akame Ga Kill! all that great of a story, so I won't be surprised if this one isn't up to snuff either.

Inifinite Stratos for double matriarchy jokes.

Maybe Sekirei too as a way to empower the male demographic. Especially after the mass imogration of Sekireis after the epilogue sequel.

I'm actually surprised that Chained Soldier is known here. Then again, this is the online cafe of known degenerates.

Very nice. Very nice. To contribute, I feel like Yuuki Wakura is gonna start to suffer some backlash from having multiple 'god-like' figures living in him.

Tenka is always best girl.

Which implies horrible things about her personal life, come to think of it.
to be frank the story seems to be pointing to the direction of the rewards being based not just on yuuki's desires but the women themselves
see kyouka's fangirl having a confessional type seem either that or yukki has tons of fetishes

maybe jujutsu kaisen replace yuuki with yuji itadori ( and some dimensional event led to yuji being transported to the chained soldier verse

I wonder what would happen if gojo and ren met

like maybe gojo got reincarnated into cs verse with his prior abilities

Half baked idea more than anything but what if instead it is Denji that's dropped in place of the main character. Haven't read the Chained manga in a good bit but I feel like there is a lot that can be done with Denji in this kind of situation. Although depending on how early or late in the CSM timeline this Denji is he would have different reactions and developments from events.

Bleach is natural, but I'd write a crossover with Frieren. As bizarre as that sounds, it could work surprisingly well.

Stark would get spirited away to Mato and become Kyouka's Slave. He'd be overwhelmed by the presence of so many colorful warrior women while also having a lot in common with the 7th Division.

Like Kyouka, Stark's hometown/village was wiped out by monsters, and he could do nothing to stop them, setting him on the path to becoming a hardworking warrior. The difference is that Kyouka defines herself by her courage, while Stark defines himself by his cowardice.

I could see these two having an epic sparring match and Stark becoming a force to be reckoned with in his Slave form.

Like Himari, Stark lived in the shadow of his family, and while Stark may not have been pampered, he could relate to Shushu in having an older sibling looking out for him. As for Nei, Stark doesn't have much in common with her, but he's a friend to all children, so no surprise there,

Ren would take a keen interest in Stark and his world's magic and set her sights on his world with ambitions of turning it into a Japanese colony.

As for the wider conflict, it'd be revealed that Mato portals have been opening up in Stark's world, with the Thunder Gods invading due to his world's humans being divided, sparsely populated, and driven to near extinction by Demons.

The Demons would join the Thunder Gods as their second wind against humanity, with some viewing them as the Gods of Demonkind (Most of the Thunder Gods have horns.). In return for accepting the Gods' mark, the Demons would receive Peaches, enhancing their magic to the level of Great Demons or higher.

The Mato Defense Corps and Continental Magic Association would ally to combat the Thunder Gods and their Demon Army, exchanging magic and Peaches and forming combined strike groups.

Then you have Ren and Serie, the most powerful women of their worlds—the apex of humanity and the apex of elves, a young upstart in black and an old master in white.

These two would have a pragmatic relationship, but as Ren shows her true colors, Ren might throw her lot in with the Empire. She and Fräse, Captain of the Empire's Magic Special Forces, would hit it off swimmingly. Japan would get magic and the new world's unique resources, while the Empire would get Peaches and modern Earth's advanced technology.

The hooks for this are how Stark adjusts to his strange circumstances and his positive influence on the MDC cast, and the battles involving creative uses of Abilities and Magic against immeasurable opponents. Depending on how canon plays out, there could also be potential parallels between the mother of the Eight Thunder Gods (potentially Izanami, Creator Goddess in Japanese Mythology) and Frieren's Goddess of Creation.

As awesome of a crossover as this would be, it could only be written faithfully once both series have concluded since there's still so much yet to be revealed.

you know I cant help but imagine if sometime after chained soldier series began ( by a short amount) the soulk society was revealed to public and normal peple began ot see hollows etc

imagine kyouka fighting a hollow and breaking its mask only to see her father

or yuuki and mayuri

Say, was it ever explained why kyouya didn't use her ability on her troops before Yuuki came along? Like, imagine her being able to use her ability on multiple targets, from a pure logistical standpoint, that ability would have been OP as fuck for a commander. Granted, that would lead to daily orgies after the fighting settled down, but I see that more as a bonus rather than a problem.

No but it can be surmised as the power is clearly stated to draw out the potential of an individual. That means only individual who lacks magical ability does it.

The subordinates, the girls are individuals who have powers. One of them, Nei, is clearly underage. That shit alone is just...way beyond Kyouka's interest.

Okay, fair point. Counter argument, Author could have just aged up the characters and made the defense corps something you need to be at least 18 to enter.
