Minecraft!

Since minecraft is getting big again on youtube - or bigger in some cases - just got to wondering about what people think of the game and if anyone else plays it. Admittedly I've been playing it for a year or two maybe at most, but only using just spoofs of the game sadly since I couldn't really buy it till recently. Think it's fun myself with all the things you can do with it, but it's really relaxing to me. Something about just mining or making a farm that just make's ya feel calm and relaxed. Plus the insane amount of mini-games and mods....holy shit at the mods.

I prefer Terraria. More combat-focused, harder to get lost, and I like the graphics more. Might try out one of the RPG mods for Minecraft and see if that makes it more fun.

I've played Minecraft since it went on sale ages ago. Usually put it down for long stretches before picking it back up, but it's incredible just how much stuff has been added to the game since I last played it. My kid is discovering mobs I've never seen before.

That said, it's really just a time waster. Without more of a story or point there isn't anything driving me back to it, so I tends to leave it unused for long stretches.
