No memories get carried over.

You just get a bonus to the degree of Smoke starting off having just evolved into Gardevoir. Magic xp's out of nowhere. In spite of you being, kinda... really terrible at the traditional battling stuff. Just a few extra points here and there over the years between then and now.

The worst that happens is you have a funny sense of deja vu, then get over it, especially if you pick somewhere else to have grown up and done things, as is a likely option.

I'll put it this way.

If I had to roll for it? Shouldn't assume you'll have it. Sabrina and the psychic/fighting gyms are obvious, but their members may or may not change.

Simple population is a big thing: there was possibility for 'shit burned, everyone is dead' results as low as 100 people, population almost entirely made up of the gyms, or 'holy shit, where are we going to get all the food we need' results of 1000+.

You breathe heavily, and Linda looks like she really wants a drink just now. You half-carry, half-drag Smoke to the medical tent.

Joy is quick to review the situation and declare it mainly a case of massive exhaustion from pushing himself too hard, with only incidental physical damage. Looks worse than it is, though it would be hard not to, given as his eyes are bleeding. She opens and pours down Smoke's throat, not a potion, but an ether. Still made from berries, but of a different sort, subtly different blend in preparation. The tonic rejuvenates, energizes, and motivates its drinker, just a bit, but does not actually heal wounds of any sort. In spite of this, the berries used are far less common than the ones that heal wounds, and so they are a little bit rarer and cost roughly twice as much to purchase, in general.

She also prescribes a solid hour in which he is not to leave the medical cot, and at his initial attempt to rise up, her narrowed gaze could easily be mistaken for a [Mean Look].

Smoke drops back into the cot, waiting patiently for time to tick down.

Sabrina is, as it happens, not surprised to learn that probably-the-police-chief's Arcanine is on the loose and very dead, though she seems to regret the knowledge.

You add it onto a growing list of local threats, as Linda and Psycho retreat, unwilling to head out again today in the wake of such a near miss.

Once the hour winds down, Joy reluctantly declares Smoke fit to move, though he should take it easy and rest until at least tomorrow morning, and not do anything too strenuous.
