The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Mirame couldn't tell if she was hot or cold. The little window in the roof of her room didn't look at the outside. Maybe the Outside, but not the outside.
Still a breeze did sometimes blow through it, and out her door, cooling the room. Made the sticky feeling air feel ..staticky instead. And then she almost wanted more blankets.
her blankets had gotten tossed and twisted into piles near her shoulder, or off the edges of the bed.
The simple white night gown she wore at night was plastered to her skin, even the parts lying over the bed were weighed down with sweat. She could smell it too, mixing with the soda bread smell of outside storms.
"Ugh.." there was a half-bath somewhere near her room, and it was late enough at night that no one else is likely to be awake.
Pulling herself off the bed, the sheets wanting to come with. She had a sudden flash of ..inevitability. That this would happen again, and again and again.
She blinked and the impression left, leaving the feeling of being out at sea, the floor moving beneath her.
Was that normal for hallways?
Probably.
Standing at the sink, she looks upward, and her skin looked looked awful, all green and scaly. She really need to take a shower.
Wait no..her skin looked ..it looked normal, greasy and covered in sweat, but normal.
Her insides clenched and hurt, she groaned, and then said a single word. "Tampons. I bought them someday ago."
"Right? Too tired. Sleep." she said and turned to shuffle back to lay in the puddle of sweat that had accumulated" on her bed. "No, water first."
She splashed some luke warm water on her face, and then gulped a few handfuls of water, and this time her shuffling reached its destination without interruption.
